Had a very difficult time with order
Had a very difficult time with order. First order, the shoes were too big at my normal size. I sent them back and ordered the next size down. They came and the shoes were marked as two different sizes. However, they were clearly the same size. I’m keeping them but would think again.

Received shoes that were full of scuff…
Received shoes that were full of scuff marks, tacky glue all over even the insoles had dog ears. You could tell they've had a few rounds being worn prior to being purchased.
Did not even bother trying on shoes as I was that upset over how shoddy the shoes looked. Used to love aldos but this was terrible.
Really terrible and the returns facility is not great.
Very bad experience
Very bad experience, despite their shipping policies stating a time frame of 4-6 working days it took over 3 weeks and several emails to have them ship my items. After that I just decided to send everything back and at least that was pretty straightforward. I've never had such a hard time while shopping online.

on my last order they put the wrong post code and i sent them proof of my previous orders showing my full address and yet they insist they it was not there mistake. Why would i change my post code and to deliver the item someone else, How could they be so stupid. i cant believe that there is no phone number to call and to speak to someone. i guess they know how terrible they are and the phone will not stop ringing.
anyway i lost GBP73 because of their stupidity.

Awful, awful just awful
This is the third pair of Aldo shoes I won't be able to wear and another £135 down the drains. Asda is the only shoe company whose shoes I can't seem to break into. They use the hardest leather known tom men and their sizing width in particular in atrocious. My advice is don't waste your money on them

Quality has decreased since takeover
Since the pandemic hit Aldo and they got bought by Bushell Investment. The quality of items haven’t been the same.
I have a large collection of Aldo sneakers, high heels, boots and handbag purchased prior to the pandemic, so I can tell their quality has changed due to the new owners changing manufacturers (either due to costs or perhaps they are trying to get a bigger profit margin) but it is terrible to charge €90 for sneakers that you’d get at a Sunday market for €15.
The sneakers had a plastic feel to it, the PU faux leather was too light and easy to scratch, even the fine details such as the engraved Aldo logos throughout the footwear is inconsistent and it shows that Aldo’s manufacturers cater the same styles to other brands by simply engraving/stamping the footwear for each brand.
Even if they are now constantly having sales, most items are not worth the money. Primark, New Look and H&M surpass their quality now.
Their handbags are also sourced from manufacturers that make the same bags for other cheaper brands.
I saw few bags that I purchased years ago in AliExpress for no more than €15 per bag. And Aldo is selling the same exact bags for €40 marked down from €60.
Save your money and go to Shein when it comes to handbags.
No thanks Aldo. Kindly return to your previous manufacturers to regain your exclusivity and great quality.
It’s painful to see a great brand being destroyed by a new management who’s trying to save money and rip off their customers.
As for now, I am going to cherish my favourite Aldo footwear and handbags that I owned prior covid and hope I find a good alternative to them.
Avoid shopping online, had to open PayPal case against them
Ordered some trainers on 28th January 2022, received order confirmation email but didn't receive any shipping info. I emailed them a week after placing the order, and they replied saying there's a delay due to stock issues but the items should be shipped within the next 7 days. Another two weeks passed and had not received any shipping info, I emailed again and had no response so I opened a PayPal case. Suddenly, that same day, I received an email from Aldo saying my order has been dispatched. However, the tracking number they gave was invalid (the tracking number was literally the number '0' which obviously wasn't recognised on royal mail tracking). I told PayPal about this and then next day Aldo emailed saying one of my items is out of stock and they're sending a refund for it (no refund received). I contacted paypal again about this and eventually PayPal closed the case in my favour and as soon as this happened Aldo said my shipment is lost and they will contact royal mail, even thought they didn't even give a valid royal mail tracking number to begin with... I wouldn't have imagined a known brand like Aldo would act like scammers, thank God I paid with PayPal and not debit card, otherwise I would've been out of pocket for sure.
Utterly rude and discriminatory behaviour
Went into the store in London U.K. and tried on a bag and when I asked the sales assistant to buy it she snatched it out my hand gave me a dirty look and then told the person behind the checkout that my new bag in the box needs to be opened and the tag removed before giving it to me which means I could never go back in and return it even though I was not the one who would have removed the tag. It was appalling and seejng as I was the only one in the store treated like this and the only one with my colour skin it is difficult to not assume this is discrimination and racism. Aldo do better when you hire staff and provide better training and ensure there are repercussions you will never be getting repeat custom from me ever again.

It is the worst experience I ever had. I paid on line and I never received the items. There is no way to return until I get them and I am not able to contact them by phone. Basically, I feel helpless and I can’t get my £150 back.

Great shoes, just cannot get hold of them.
Such a shame. I have worn Aldo shoes for years and always like their style and variety. I made an order for 3 pairs online on 29 January, expecting delivery within 5 days. Nothing. Facebook page is a non-entity and Twitter links to their US operations. Finally got in contact via email and told of a further delay of 5 days, then 7 days, within 2 days of the first delay being mentioned. Each time saying they could refund my order - its as if they want to refund the money and go out of business.
My simple question to them is, "why advertise something for sale, if you have no stock?" its pretty basic in business.
I will never buy anything, at least online, from Aldo ever again. What an utter disgrace.
My first order and what a nightmare
My first order and what a nightmare. The order is yet to be received. 3 emails 3 Instagram messages no reply until this morning when I received a message saying we have cancelled your order. It has been weeks of frustration. Please think before you order from this dreadful company they have no after sales customer service or maybe they just chose not to respond. It’s a shambles.

I refer to my order No.59828 placed since on the 1st of Feb with Aldo Shoes UK up till date 10th of Feb yet to receive it. Each time I tracked with Royal Mail the shipping carrier the message was : 'sorry currently unable to track your order try tomorrow' This has been the message everyday I track it. Track order tomorrow despite paying for 3 to 5 days delivery service.
For over 5 days i complained to customer Aldo Shoes customer support about it no reply. Very disappointing. I requested for the refund of my payment of £17.95 this was ignored. No one reply. Very terrible service. I am gutted.
