A superb experience all round, I cannot recommend Alex and the team highly enough.

I dealt with Aurelia and Alex all the way through the experience. Very professional and personable, I was made to feel welcome every time I attended.
The outcome has been fantastic and my sight is perfect. I cannot thank everyone enough at the clinic for all their assistance.

Alex Day performed a refractive lens exchange on both eyes to correct my vision (long and near distance). It was like he performed magic. One day I needed glasses to see both distance and near and then after the operation I could see without glasses. I can read emails, texts on my mobile, menus & read the newspaper.
Alex and his team are all professionals but more so they are warm, calm and caring therefore making this whole experience achievable.
What is also so very important is the aftercare.
After my first op on my right eye on Saturday 20th May, Alex texted on Sunday to see if I was ok and and if had worries or concerns to get in touch. Aurelia called Monday morning to see how I was feeling. This aftercare also followed through after my 2nd op on Saturday 27th May.
The 6 week checkup was thorough and again with a warm and caring touch.
I would not hesitate to recommend Alex Day!

I had an appointment with Mr Alex Day today. I was originally treated for an eye infection in California and went to see Mr Day as a follow up and to get a second opinion. He and his staff were extremely knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend him and would definitely see him again should the need arise.

Alex Day was brilliant, my lens replacement was a huge decision for me as I’m petrified of anyone touching my eyes. The staff at Moorfields private were brilliant….especially Christine the nurse. Alex Day was brilliant and my surgery went so well. Within an hour of leaving the hospital my sight was great. Wish I’d done it years ago. I now have 20/20 vision and couldn’t be happier. Anyone considering this procedure please take the plunge. It really is life changing. .

Mr Day has built a very competent, efficient and friendly team and the whole experience before and on the day was very smooth and painless. The results just one month later are better than expected and my sight has been significantly improved.

Mr Day was a great consultant to have. He was kind and polite and answered any questions I had clearly and in a way I could understand. His team were friendly too, especially Aurelia. Everything went smoothly from the initial appointment to the day of surgery to the follow up appointments. I have the desired result from my surgery and 3 months on, healing is progressing perfectly and a life without glasses is incredible! Would highly recommend Mr Day to anyone.

My only comment would be to make patients more aware of the post surgical care and drop routines that are required prior to the surgery day. There is a lot which needs to be done and you have to have someone else to do it for the best recovery.

Mr. Day and his team were professional and comprehensive from my first appointment. My surgery was delayed due to dryness in one of my eyes and, although initially disappointing, this gave me added confidence that any treatment given would be in my best interest. The team were supportive and reassuring on the day of my surgery and the aftercare has been excellent. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Mr. Day and his team. Thank you all.

I had my ICL surgery with Mr Day 24 hours ago and already my sight is better than it was when wearing spectacles. Mr Day reassured me and kept me at ease throughout the whole process. The whole team were very professional and helpful thoughout the various appointments I attended.

I received a very thorough eye test and was made very aware by Mr Day what the outcome would be. The result was, in fact, the best possible.
Several of my friends have had this procedure elsewhere,and suffered from floaters, half moons and worse. I had not problems.
Also the treatment during the procedure at Moorfields was excellent, all the staff were more considerate

I visited Alex Day's clinic in March 2023 as I had cataract. Mr Day and his colleagues examined my eyes and I was advised by Mr Day that I had no vision in my left eye and 25% vision in my right eye. I was advised to have cataract surgery by laser treatment and to have EDOF lens implants. I went to Moorfields on the 1st and 15th April 2023 and accordingly had the treatment as recommended. The outcome has been extremely good and my vision is almost 100%. I do not need to wear glasses for long and medium distances, but do need glasses for reading and close work. Mr Day and his colleagues are clearly expert and I was reassured by Mr Day during the treatment process. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Day and his team.

The whole experience at the clinic with Dr Day, Alex, and other staff members was examplary of proffesionalism and competence. Great result from the operation too. Can't recommend them enough.

The only thing better than Alex's surgical skill is his patience and compassion.
