it's a scam, they will _never_ pay you

18 months ago I finished on Kronofogden thanks to Alfa kassa and I almost lose my apartment. If I have enemies I wouldn't send them to Alfa kassa. They take your health, time and money and than they screw you up. Runaway from them and don't trust them anything. Zero stars for them! O couldn't write correct date because it happened 2023.23.10. Why did I write it now?
Because 2 years later they do the same shit to another people!!!

What an amateur a-kassa!!! If there is a holiday Anywhere near the payment Day your money will automatically come Late One or several Days!!! Do you think my landlord accepts the explanation that akassa is late?? This is unheard of in other Nordic countries!!! Stay away from this. you have been Warned!

Stay away as far as you can! They are not what they saying and you Will lose all your rights. They tel you something and they Will say we didn’t say that: I have been waiting 4 months and they make me crazy, i have been working and been member a-kasse 15 yrs never seen like Them in my life! What a horrible service and empty promises they told you, how is that possible?!!! I have been working last 13 yrs and they rob me a daylight!!!! I am Warning you never be fooled like they did to me! Zero chance IF i ever need a-kasse again. Happy i am back to work

I am very sad and cry every day for waiting money from alfakaasa. They dont care and see people. In time they deduct 150kr every month very fast and automatic but when process very slow and get answer waiting by prayer and have hope you will get it. No agency is ready to help quickly. Sad with this system for fake government never see and go down look what it happened. Staff work take time to long look like writing on paper not have computer for management. People waiting I am sure you will not happy with this company but they can not do anything. Just close eye close mouth and no have who can help.

Run ...as far as you can, this alfakassa is a joke, they do not answering to your questions, they do not know their job ... If you send them papers you need to send, they will ask you to send them again...on and on .... and if you call them, they are rude and unpolite.

Alfa-Kassan is the most unreliable service ever. Either go to other A-kassan or save your own money! You can not rely on them. They take forever to review your case and they don't care how long it will take and if you have bills to pay. The worse system ever. I quit my job for health purposes and that should give me the right to skip the 45 days time of waiting but no, instead I am unemployed for 3 months and have not received my unemployment benefits yet. Do NOT recommend.

What a show! Long waiting time, they can't even tell you how long you should expect to wait, they just want you to wait, without any assurance for your future.

Oh, you have bills - not their problem.
Oh, you don't have a home - not their problem.
Oh, you can't afford food - not their problem.
You have to wait until they have time, and they don't know when that will be (And no, this is no joke..) - way to support paying members who have lost their job, and have other things to figure out... Make their financial situation as unsure as possible. This is one of the most "secure" ways to push people straight into health issues and mental health problems. Honestly, if you don't have a strong and positive mental attitude and health, good resources and a resourceful and helpful family around you, you most likely won't get through this very well. I consider myself able and also having all of the things above, and this has really taken a toll on my mental health and motivation in general - it's definitely not easy!

I've been waiting more than two months, and now they asked for documents from an institute with an answering time of more than six months.. My deadline to get the papers to Alfa-kassan = 2 weeks.
"Funny" that Alfa-kassan doesn't have any expectation for their own answering time, but really harsh deadline for all others when they need information.

My best advice: Save your money, put it in a picky bank at home, and you will at least know how much you got, how long it will last you, and how you can plan your future from that. Expect NO help, NO information, NO support or otherwise service from Alfa-kassan. If I could only give 0 stars!

Update 7/12-21 Still nothing positive happened with Alfakassan except them stopping to reply via "mina sidor", although they figured out some weeks ago I needed to give some information. I called them so they could be specific with what information and details they needed, and asked if they needed any more than that. Today, more than two weeks after they sent me 3 to-do tasks with documents they need. AFTER MORE THAN 8 MONTHS THEY FIGURE OUT THEY NEED INFORMATION..... What a sh't show.

Update 7/12. Alfa-kassan for the thousand time need more information.
I provied this information and Alfa-kassan denied, because I started studying and my studies amount to more than 50% of what is considered a full-time job, and I get some money from my studies (Duh, needed to get something to pay rent and food.)

So know I'm not able to get anything from Alfa-kassan because I get money from studies even though laws state that I should be eligible since all my studies are online and I'm able to take a full-time job "tomorrow".

Basically, Alfakassan has waited so long time that I would either die, do something illegal, or figure out a way to pay rent and get food which would in turn make sure they didn't have to pay anything.

Watchout!
Have been in Alfa kassa since I moved to Sweden, been able to work for four years full time and this past winter had to stay home without work, figured it would be a good time to use Alfa-Kassa since I've been paying them for 5 years, just to find out that NO i will sit and wait till some time this summer to get paid! Do not join this company they are only stealing your money!

Worst Akassa in Sweden and probably in all the Nordics.
23 weeks after I applied and now their estimated time are up to 32 weeks before they will open your case ( so after that you will still need to wait to hear their verdict about if you will get the money or not) and several calls which are only answered by their unprepared customer service agents I am still in the same place as I was in September.
Don’t expect help and do not invest any money in this company.
