While the holster has many ‘gadgets’ and moving pieces, it is actually one of the most comfortable holsters I have worn (4:00 strong side). Buyer should realize that it is not however good for a train... See more

Based on my research
Based on my research, this holster appeared to be the right choice for proper carry and draw. After receiving it, I was glad to be right. It's extremely comfortable, with great retention and an unrestricted draw. The best part? It required zero modifications out of the box. Kismet?
Everything was a disappointment.
They gave me the wrong magazine holder sizes.
They have a listing for a 'shadow systems' holster for my particular model, a cr920. The images all show an optics cut. What came was a holster that literally had etched in it 'glock 43' and it was not optic-cut, as was shown in every color selection possible, including the stock black, in which I ordered mine. It says 'adjustable retention screws,' but it goes from loose to looser, only. They will sell you a chest holster and magazine holders that demonstrably don't go to that system, and call it compatible for the sale. It's an embarassment.
Terrible Customer Service
Ordered a holster over a week ago and still haven't received it. Paid for $14 "express" shipping and the item was shipped the wrong direction to Oregon and hasn't moved since. When I asked for assistance from Alien Gear I was told that I would need to deal with FedEx who keeps instructing me to deal with the shipper. This company is a scam
If you order the wrong thing you won't get a full return
Alien Gear has some of the worst pictures for their products of any holster manufacturer I have seen. Additionally, they refuse to identify if their holster is an IWB or a OWB. I have ordered from them before and had a problem with a holster and they would answer the phone and resolve the issue. In this earlier case it involved some missing attachment screws and a plastic part. Nowadays, they have automated everything. They refuse to pay for return shipping, or meet the customers expectations. The marketing budget must be tight because the poor picture quality can cause confusion by not identifying their products. The text description fails to provide a basic description of the type of holster and how it would be used by the customer, so you can make an informed choice. When I received an IWB (which I despise) version of the holster for my gun, I was told that I can return it and lose 24 bucks for a 70 dollar purchase and they may send me another type. It was unclear as to whether I would have to pay shipping again. This company has lost its way. They no longer care if you are a satisfied customer.
I bought a Photon holster for my 27-year-old former service Glock Gen 3. Love it. I hope there will be a Photon holster for my new Beretta APX-A1 Full-Size with Factory Red Dot and an add-on flashli

Product development-
seems to be a bit slow on the draw.
Unfortunate, because I really like their holsters.

Holster snapped in half at belt clip
I purchased my holster in October of 2023 but due to it not fitting the O-light I purchased, had to wait till I could afford a stream light to use it. I just started using it about two weeks ago and the belt clip snapped in half. I would really appreciate someone from customer service reaching out to me for assistance. I wasn’t doing anything unusual but removing the holster from my hip when it snapped. Thank you for any help that can be provided.
Nice gear
Nice gear. US made and wore it while cutting up a massive red oak, ran with it and really put it to the test for about 2 hours of hard work. Using it with a 2 piece hook and loop belt system.
Well made and comfortable to wear.
Poor quality and worse customer service.
Poor quality and worse customer service. Bought a duty holster, the holster catches the firearm going in and out. Company insists it’s not defective. They say it’s just my preference. Clearly they don’t know how holsters are supposed to work. I left reviews on their website but they are suppressing them by not posting the reviews. Terrible company, in my opinion.
Great service and great product
I am very happy with the service. I asked a question re suitability of holster for Glock 48 and the answer was promptly and comprehensively answered. Great service and a great product !

Would conduct business with AG again.
My Second Cloak Belt Holster
This is my second cloak belt holster, I have had the 1st one for years for my 1911 full and Commander length which is still in great shape. This one is for my Shield and XDS. Most comfortable holsters I own, keeps my weapon high and tight great for concealment for me. Being able to change shells is a great plus. On this last order I had to call customer service to help find the correct shell. The lady I spoke with was on it, wonderful service. She canceled my order, found the right shell and put it into my cart, so when I got home from work all I had to do was execute the order after I finished shopping. I want to say her name is Kathryn/Sharon? Certainly an asset to Alien Gear and a big thank you to her. Sorry I cant remember the name but I remember the outstanding service.
I own several
I own several. Love the shapeshifter. The he only issu is some of the accessory packs don’t convert to left handed as well as they could.
No Hat :(
Received my package today and boy is the holster awesome but I was a bit sad when I realized I didnt get the free hat that was included with my order. :(
Other than that everything is awesome!
