The website is easy to use and find what is needed. Good communication throughout ordering and shipping.

The holster, after much research, looked like the proper fit and orientation for proper carry and draw.
After the holster was received, my research was confirmed. Plus it's extremely comfortable. Retention is great and draw unrestricted. Bonus, as delivered need zero, zero alterations to fit. Kismet?

For me the positives were the quality, ability to change configuration (angle), ability to change holster to fit other styles without the need to purchase complete assemblies and the kit came with plenty of spare parts, tools etc.

Negative, although minor, I found it difficult to remove the gun from the holster. After several attempts to loosening the tension, I discovered if i twisted the gun slightly inward, the trigger guard would slip out with little to no resistance. Not sure if twisting the gun is required but it worked for me. I retightened the tension and the gun is secure and can still be extracted with little force. Perhaps this could be included in the instruction guide.

Excellent product and excellent customer service after the fact. Incorrectly ordered the wrong holster for my model (my mistake) and they exchanged it no questions asked. Correct IWB model is a perfect fit for my handgun w/red dot.

I contacted Alien Gear after waiting a week of business days since my order was placed and still no update, and was informed it was a 4 month waiting period and thus told them to just cancel my order. They mention nothing about this other than the holsters are "made to order"... I also read some of the reviews from their physical location on Google Maps and they state you can go into the store and have your holster made the same day! This sucks for us who live farther away from their retail location, as we not only have to wait for the people who ordered ahead of us to get their stuff, but we also have to wait for people going in the same day and skipping the line - this defeats the whole purpose of ordering and having a made to order wait time in my opinion. This is sad to see for a company that is all American Made, but I will have to give my business elsewhere, to a company that actually stocks their products like Safariland, even if it means the product is assembled in Mexico... I was trying to do the right thing and help other Americans out, but that wait time and walk in system they have going on is absurd to say the least. **

I saw many positive reviews of the company’s products, so I decided to buy their new LVL 3 Rapid Force Duty holster. I chose the matte black option from their available colors and configurations. Later, I discovered that the tan version is IR neutral, a detail not mentioned on the product page but found in their blog. This feature is important for some military and law enforcement units and should be highlighted.

I contacted the company and received a prompt response, but they informed me that I couldn't simply swap the color without canceling and reordering. They acknowledged the missing IR neutral information and promised to forward it to their IT team. It's frustrating to have to search extensively for such crucial details, especially when competitors like Safariland clearly state this information.

Additionally, the cart shows a "10,000 day repair period," which is actually a placeholder. The real warranty is three years, buried on their website.

Overall, my experience was okay, but the company should be more transparent with product information to make ordering easier, especially for agencies. Despite this, I trust the quality of the holster based on reviews and testing I've seen, and I will evaluate it myself once it arrives.

First class new product: Strongsuit gloves! Website is easy to use. My only complaint is the shipping. The time from ordering to receipt of the product is way too long. It took over a week to receive the shipment.

The package was one time and not damaged. The drop leg jig itself is awesome [5/5]. The holster could be better (5" 1911) but it works perfectly [4.7/5]. I didn't get the hat that was supposed to be free with the purchase might have been my mistake [3/5]. Overall set up look [5/5].

At first I thought it was confusing then I played with it and now I find it easy to switch between the different carries what ever the situation iwb,owb,& aiwb. Not to mention the difference clips choice the carry choice the correct clip.

I love the holster, but the angle it holds the gun in the advertisement shows about a 45 degree angle, the one I got was about 10 more degrees toward being sideways than I wanted. Makes it feel like it can come out easier.

The holster was delivered very quickly. I didn't realize it when I ordered it, but it is ambidextrous and can be worn IWB or OWB. It has a great fit on my pistol with light and optic.i live the adjustable cant and retention. I also bought a magazine carrier that is sidecar capable, but I don't like them attached. The carrier also has adjustable cant and retention. I tried another holster that was $60 more and this one beat it out. Definitely worth the money. Comfortable to the point that I almost forget it's there.
