Horrible experience, really bad first impression
They sent an email from a personal contact that suggested that this person was reaching out to connect. When I logged in and created an account, they asked for access to contacts which I assumed would just be to allow me to connect with who was on the platform. They emailed my contact list using my identity to say I was reaching out on alignable to connect with them. This is not what I had personally requested. They did this just to try to get more clients themselves. When u tried to request my account be closed and that they disconnected any link to my contact list, they denied my request because they said they could not prove my identity. They gave me no direction on how to prove my identity. What a horrible experience.

Hi Kelly,
The connecting your contacts is suggested but not required to use Alignable. Adding these contacts automatically connects you to those you know already on the platform and sends invitations to businesses you know to join. You have to enter passwords and give access to your address book as well as select all, deselect, or select just some of those contacts to send invitations to.
We always remove anyone's contact list if they request it and your account was deactivated.
In order to complete a DSAR request which is complete deletion or download of your information, yes, we do require an ID verification for that. However, the ID verification is clearly outlined in the request form. I found the emails and you were given the same form we use to verify identity. You can use that form to upload your identity verification and the DSAR request will be immediately initiated.

I think it's a great platform
I think it's a great platform! I have people that are very loyal to our monthly meetings and we have bet quite a few new people over time. The staff is very friendly some of the website seems to be less easy to use for me than it was a few months ago. One of the things I try to do each month is to go in and meet all the new members and send them a connection request and invitation to our monthly meeting. This last month it was much harder to do that than it was in the past where I could pull them up and copy and paste. I think it was the pulling up that was the harder part. I love Alignable
I love Alignable. To me it replaces and is far superior to chamber mixers, in that I get real face time with people I wouldn’t have otherwise known. And we all play by the “rules” by not giving elevator speeches but actually getting to know each other.

Thank you for saying that. When entrepreneurs use the platform intentionally to build relationships and support one another, it really becomes something special.
Ability to search for services needed and or offered.
It is a fairly easy to use website. a couple of things would be of value to me. One is being use when people join they have contact information shown. I have many contacts and I check to see if I already have them in my database. I also do etroductions via email. Cannot do that without theirs.
Another not sure you can correct is to suggest they respond to welcome emails. 80% and more have not? Not what I would call professional. Maybe it is me.

horrible experience, we did advertising for a campaign worth about $2k. the result was horrible, total lie on sales calls and also they kept charging my card without authorizing and refuse refunding me

For clarity, all sponsorships and advertising campaigns are governed by the Sponsorship Cancellation Terms that were agreed to at signup, which outline authorization, billing cadence, and refund eligibility in detail. Those terms explain when charges occur and why refunds are not available once a campaign has launched.
