Good shopping experience
Bought a Xiaomi rice cooker from Aligo. who seems to be sole distributor of the Xiaomi products in the UK. The delivery was within 5 days, very efficient. No complication to whole purchase process.
Ninebot Segway
We ordered a Ninebot Segway and as it was coming from France i asked to be informed of the shipping etc. I didnt hear anything until DHL sent me a message to say i was having a parcel delivered. I ordered the Segway on the Thursday and recieved it on the wednesday which i thought was pretty quick. I would have given 5* but the communication wasnt 100%. I know we are in a pandemic but why give the option of updates and messages regarding shipping if they arent going to be followed. Apart from that the website was easy to use and shipping was fast and efficient. Prices were a good price as they were the cheapest from a company. Ebay and Amazon were wanting more money even 2nd hand.

Not fantastic but OK
Ordered a Mi Box S, details stated delivery in 2 - 3 business days but took 5 which is a minor complaint. Otherwise got what I wanted.
Although they state they're a UK provider they only had EU models with an EU plug in stock and don't even provide an adapter. They do state on the site that this is the EU model and I ordered fully aware that I would need an adapter however I can see this catching some people out.

Awful customer service, faulty goods
Awful customer service. I ordered a kettle that stopped working properly after a month of use. Aligo refused to refund or replace it, despite making me go through the motions of sending them the kettle, which they have had for months without keeping me updated. After much chasing, Aligo insisted the kettle wasn’t faulty, despite me sending them video evidence of it not working. Oh, and the kettle had the wrong adapter type (EU not UK). Worst customer service I have ever encountered - avoid this company at all costs!
Received my product in time (Xiaomi 3h).
Ordered a Xiaomi Mi 3h on aligo.uk. Received it in due time.
I think this business is new:
- At first it was really unclear what was the state of my order. The main cons is that they don't really follow up in a timely manner over email.
- Comms is good once you are able to be in touch with them (I used aligo.nl phone number). They follow up with you regularly, which is great. And remain super polite.
- Item arrived in time, as planned.
I think they could easily deserve 5 stars if they were a bit more proactive when it come to notifying users of item delivery - or updating order status more frequently (or with fine grade steps). Otherwise, all good! I'll purschase again.
Pleasently surprised!
Pleasently surprised, the shipping was fast and the products feel like excellent value for money. I was concerned at first due to their website being poorly designed and some of the phrasing on there was a bit odd but actually turned out to be a legit bargain!
Missing item & no customer service response / Update - problem resolved applicable and sta rating changed from 1 to 4
Missing item.
I order 2 LED lamps and only 1 arrived. I followed up with an email asking for either a refund or to send a second lamp. No response from customer service.
Update -
After a few more days to company contacted me, appologied and sent missing item including a free gift.
There for I will change my review from a 1 to a 4 start

Was really good delivery but I had damaged box and a handle bar screw missing.. it's lucky I have tools and spares laying around.
Can't fault the timing and price the product is in good condition and does more than I needed so I'm happy. I'd like to keep contact though with the seller for advice on if the wheels need replacement. Needed a spare charger got it sorted after contact quick.
One week delivery delay, wrong EU plug instead of marketed UK, no customer query response
We have ordered Xiaomi kettle 11 July Saturday that was due to be delivered ‘latest on 16 July’ which is already later than 2-3 business days mentioned on website. No response came from customer care once questioned on the delay and item was delivered only on 20 July.
Kettle came with European plug for UK order while picture on the website depicts different form of plug and again no response from Aligo customer team on emails.
I would not use and strongly recommend against using Aligo for unreliable service.

A great service
A great service, especially at times like these. We were surprised it was a week from order to delivery.
Look forward to ordering another for upstairs in the near future.
It would be great if you could stock filters for future reference.
The only improvement to listing I would say is to reiterate further this is a European targeted product with an EU plug. ( A very small issue if that, solved by simply purchasing an EU to UK plug adapter)

Overall a positive experience
Delivery was a little delayed over what was advertised on the website, however some delays to be expected during COVID 19. Product was not supplied with a UK power adaptor, however seller kindly reimbursed the cost for one after contacting.
Good delivery in the current climate.
Order 2.5 weeks late
Ordered with 2 - 3 day express delivery & despite getting 2 emails from Aligo, when the shipping was already past the expected delivery date, saying my order was being shipped this week, it wasn't shipped. I asked PayPal for a refund & later that day my order was shipped 2.5 weeks late. Not impressed at all

I did manage to get my order eventually. It took them 2 weeks though to deliver the item. The website is misleading in informing that it would be delivered in 1-2 days. Customer service is responsive albeit quite slow.
