For some of my research work it's been invaluable to be able to download and review videos from sites where it would otherwise not be possible.
The program is simple and intuitive to use and has been a superb time-saver for me.
Recently, I had a question about purchasing and was delighted with rapid response I received.

Worth every buck! Can download from many sites and you can bulk a bunch of videos. Flawless :D

Amazing customer service. There have been two occasions where I could no longer download from particular sites and I sent a message to customer support fully expecting to get either no response or a standard 'sorry that site is no longer supported' response; but, both times, the issue has been sorted within less than a day.

Edit: I had the following problem:
[The app loads the website URL, says "downloading" and does exactly nothing else.
Or
The app accepts a YouTube URL, then instantly pops up a window saying Site: YouTube and underneath it a window saying email: and below that window another one saying: password. Password for what?
I have no idea how to delete any plist file to get it to start again and see if I can clear whatever problem is troubling it. (Mac OS Catalina)]
Allavsoft responded as you see below. I followed their instructions and the software is now working correctly. I have changed my rating from 1* to 5***** for the quick diagnosis and response from Allavsoft.

it works but it's the SLOWEST program I have ever used, I'm only doing youtube to mp3. It's confusing and not very intuitive either.

I have been using Allavsoft for about a year. As the title states, it has provided excellent results continuously, each time I use it. The interface is easy to understand and use. Customer service has been very responsive with all of my questions, they respond quicker than most software companies. Uses are plenty; download many type of files from the internet, convert music files, movies, merge videos, etc. I have been Allavsoft on my MAC and have recently purchased a PC and I will be obtaining Windows version. Once installed, I will again be enjoying the benefits of this software. Thank you Allavsoft.

Great Video Downloader and Excelent Support!

I love Allavsoft but I have found over the last 12 months or so that I can download some programs from a catch up site but it won't let me download other programs on the same site. Some times it will allow me to download a season of a show but won't download another season of that same show. For example I downloaded A Country Practice on the 7plus website. I could download the first 11 seasons but it wouldn't/won't download season 12 but would download seasons 13&14. There is way around this?

I have been using this excellent software for more than 6 years and have successfully downloaded thousands of videos from multiple streaming sites.

The software is fantastic. It provides many download and conversion options. It is fast, reliable and very easy to use. The downloaded videos are of a consistently high quality.

Best of all is the ongoing technical support provided by David and his team. Occasionally, some of the sites I subscribe to have changed their technical specs. Whenever this has happened, I have contacted Allavsoft and they have always come up with a speedy solution.

It has been wonderful to be able to use this software to enable me to watch videos offline, which is so important with unreliable internet speeds.

I recommend this software without reservation.

I paid for this product in the belief that I can download music from Spotify in flac!
Think ... lied and betrayed!
You can only download in mp3 and 128kbps !!
It is not recommended for music lovers!

I paid for this product. Allavsoft has become a daily utility for me. It downloads just about anything that is streamed from a webpage. Frequent updates keep it working perfectly. You can control just about everything about the download and it's FAST. Do not hesitate ! Buy Allavsoft !

Using mostly to rebuild my music library by grabbing off of Spotify, though i have noticed that roughly 75% of songs are coming in at 128kbps for some reason. About 10% are around 230kbps and the rest are 320kbps, I've got it set to grab best available quality and i have a Premium Spotify Membership, the login creds for which are on the Privacy tab of the preference settings. I am going Album by Album since that is quicker than grabbing songs individually but that shouldn't affect things I think, tried re-downloading a couple times only to get the exact same results so i doubt it's something like bandwidth ... Starting to think that although Spotify says they stream at 320 most of their library isn't that high quality. Maybe that'll change if/when they bring in the lossless 1411kbps flac files idk

Edit - Definitely think it's Spotify, more popular songs and those in compilations are much more likely to be at 320kbps whereas the less popular songs of various albums are more likely to be 128kbps... wouldn't be surprised if it were Spotify's way of saving space

AllavSoft only supports downloading files from Spotify with 128k quality.

As the comment below shows, my initial review was unfavourable. I've now had time to play with the app and it appears to do exactly what it says on the tin.
I was looking for something to replace the TuneFab Spotify converter which no longer seems to be supported. I think I may have found it.

It is very useful program to download video from a number of websites.
