We saw Prof Fox to get some clarity over our daughters allergies. He was very clear and concise in speaking with us and addressed our daughters anxiety about living with allergies in a compassionate and reassuring way. He quickly alleviated a lot of our worries as parents. He established that a previous test showing a potential allergy may not be the case and a quick blood test at the appointment and subsequent food challenge will hopefully eliminate one allergy for her. We received a wealth of knowledge from him and have come away with a plan to help make our daughter’s future more positive. The booking and visit to see him was dealt with efficiently and staff at the Portland were helpful. Would highly recommend to any allergy family.

Very smooth and efficient experience at Allergy London. This time we were visiting the clinic at ENT4Kids on Wimpole Street. We were seen too immediately by reception and were directed to a comfortable waiting area. When we had our turn the Doctor saw both our boys at the same time, which made life easier for us as parents. The follow on testing was also prompt.
All in all, I can’t complain about anything and wouldn’t change a thing about the experience. Well done!

The service was very good indeed, despite having to wait, not for too long, in the waiting room before the appointment. The actual appointment was great, the doctor listened attentively to our descriptions and concerns and gave very thorough answers that made perfect sense and in a way that anyone would understand. He immediately allowed time to perform the next few tests with the nurse and read out the information to us clearly after the tests were done, everything was ready within 15mins tops including the reading of the results. The tests themselves were also performed very quickly without faffing around and without leaving any traumatic experience with the child, which was great. We were happy with the overall service that day.

Great expertise, care and service. Dr Fox, Dr Mass, Nurse Victoria and all others have been unfailingly brilliant with both our children. We have been seeing them for 7.5 years now with two children. Our older son has successful done sensitisation to baked egg under the care of Dr Fox too. We have full confidence in their expertise and would recommend without any concerns.

Where should I start? There are not enough words for me to express my appreciation to Professor Adam Fox for helping me through this journey with my son’s allergies. I have been visiting doctors since his birth in 2018, and only when I met Professor Fox on Monday, 9th May, 2022 I felt confident my son will be ok. Thank goodness we were referred. Having struggled with numerous allergy related issues for most of his life, my 5 year old son was finally referred to Professor Fox at Allergy London.

During our consultation a full medical history was taken, followed by tests and after 2 hours my son had a full diagnosis and treatment plan. One week on, we’re starting to see the benefits.

It has been a month since my son Elliot saw Professor Fox and I can honestly say he has already changed our lives. Such a knowledgeable and confident doctor in the field of allergy. My son is happier, more settled and focused in school and has gone from having 5 lots of additional medication for reactions per day to none. I am a far more relaxed parent and the future seems very positive for all of us. A great team - Victoria the nurse was a delight with my son too. Thank you so much. I look forward to visiting again in May to see where the treatment takes us next. If you are deliberating whether to book or not, don’t delay. You won’t regret it.

The waiting room was busy with children as it was the Easter holidays but our appointment was on time and we were not kept waiting in between seeing the doctor/nurse for testing/results etc. We saw Adam Fox and he was very friendly and explained everything very clearly to me. The two nurses who carried out tests were excellent with my son and made it a positive experience for him.

I saw Professor Till to check on my nut allergy having first being diagnosed 20 years ago by another specialist. He was attentive and clearly very knowledgeable. Given the progress in science since my initial diagnosis he also had a different working theory of what was happening with my allergy. And after some new tests, he was absolutely right. I’m not allergic to nuts as such and he was able to identify what I need to avoid. So after 20 years, I can eat nuts again! Great service and very grateful.

Great consultation as ever. Explained everything.

Doctor was on time, able to come in with 2 parents for my baby’s appointment. It was fast and very efficient. We left with the answers to our questions.

We met with Mr Fox and his team when Olympia was five months old. Before them we have been told that she was colic. She was crying constantly and getting rashes all over her body. As first time parents we were so worried and it was clear she was in pain. We were so desperate and saw four doctors before see them and it didn’t help. Mr Fox and his team identified the allergy immediately, her symptoms settled and we understood the cause. Since then we still see them.I am so grateful for their assistance they were so good and always provided the detailed explanation. I highly recommend anyone who goes through the allergy journey. Dealing with the allergy requires patience,they are genuinely kind and show empathy. You also need that on top of the professional medical advice. With their help, your voice has been heard in the darkness of allergy and you get a structured plan and know how to deal with this. Thanks to the team we are less worried and managing better.

I don’t write these reviews often, mostly because I feel like paediatric medicine is so variable. Answers differ based on who you speak to. And from my experience, how knowledgeable the physician is in front of you - including how many cases of a similar presentation he/she has seen - really matters.

This is why speaking with Dr Fox has been so reassuring. He is even keeled, without being alarmist or lasiez-faire (which is what you want in someone providing medical care to your little one). He is obviously very knowledgeable. And he is great at communicating all of that knowledge to parents.

From the consultation, I walked away with:
1) an understanding of what is happening and why
2) an understanding of potential long term issues
3) a way forward
4) and what to watch out for

I don’t think there are many times in the parenthood journey where one definitively feels that of the varied paths, one was definitely the right choice. But choosing to see Dr Fox was one of these right choices. It has brought us so much peace of mind.

Dr Adam Fox is so reassuring and empathetic. He listens to all concerns and provides such a high quality of care. My daughter has been under his care for a number of years and I wholeheartedly recommend him.
