With just 6 weeks remaining on my policy and a single monthly payment of £13.11 remaining , I sold my car with no intention of buying another. This left me with no choice but to cancel the policy. This left me with a £40 cancellation charge, this is actually more than 25% of the cost of the whole policy which is pretty much fully paid in full (and I would happily pay the final payment). Frankly this is daylight robbery. We will not be renewing any of our other policies with Allianz, nor using them in the future and certainly would not recommend them to anybody else.

Allianz Car Insure Just A Pain to Deal Withj
Allianz Car Insurance is now on-line only and is exactly the kind of company I do not want to deal with.
1. although specifying NO auto re-newal, they have set policy auto re-newal.
2. they sent me two renewal quotes, same car, dates etc but different price. One price is competitive but which will they charge me ?
3. for two browsers I use the on-line chat button does not appear.
4. not possible to contact them by phone.
5. web site cumbersome to navigate. Like Ryan Air years ago. Life's too short, im going elsewhere.

There approved body shop
I’ve been with this company 3 years now brilliant but there body shop not that good had my car repaired by them 2 years ago and the lacquer is peeling from where they repaired it my advice pick your own body shop don’t use there repair shop I did email lv about this and got no response at all lv are ok but bad experience with there body shop it had to go back when first repaired has they was overspray all over my windows lv had to step in and sort this out because the body shop did not want to know I’m sure a repair should last more than 2 years

The application went smoothly tonight
The application went smoothly tonight. When I tried to purchase my car insurance last night, the 'Forgotten Password?' email link took ages (20 mins+) to arrive and then expired before I could use it to access my account. Very frustrating but glad it got sorted.

Straightforward well ‘signposted’ site - which enabled quick access to my policy . Changes which needed to be made re my vehicle were instantly done and revised documents including Cert of Insurance were available immediately in my Documents.

Dont ever use this company for car insurance,,I got scammed by someone saying I hit their car when I never , This company took their side because they said they had a witness ,I did to but because it was a friend they didn't count ,,They said they would have lost in court ,absolute nonsense. My premium shot up £30 xtra a month
