I provided my claim-free years certificate to Allianz Direct NL, yet they keep asking for additional conditions each time and refuse to adjust my premium back to the correct amount. Their excuses are completely unreasonable—for example, claiming that they need “details of any claims, including amounts and whether they were recovered from the opposing party,” even though I have never had any claims.
It’s clear they are deliberately making the process difficult to justify an unjustified 30% increase in my premium. Their customer service is equally frustrating—slow, unhelpful, and taking an average of four days to respond to emails. This experience feels like a deliberate scam rather than a professional insurance service. Avoid them if you can.

I had a question regarding my insurance, and it took quite a while to get messages back from them as they were working on several cases they said. However, even though I waited bit longer, Ashveen helped me to answer my questions.

Apparently, my claim free year wasn't registered by Allianz Direct in the past and I therefore was paying more than it supposed to be in the last years. Anyway, Allianz Direct has registered it in Roy data and fixed their mistake as of 27.03.25 but my current insurer wanted to have an approval for this, since the correction made has no date or any confirmation letter in Roy-data. Allianz is refusing to send it even though it was their mistake. The call service is horrible bad, there is no respect towards the customer at all. After a long waiting time (30min) and 10min. discussion on the phone call, the call service employee told me that she is going to cancel the call and they cannot help further. She basically just stopped the call while I was still talking. Never ever again! I will prevent all my friends to work with you from today on. You're one of the most expensive car insurance company and you're not even trying to fix your mistakes. What a ridiculous way to deal with a customer.

The company does not fulfill the terms of the contract. I signed a contract where it is clearly stated that (beperkt casco schade) the reduction of the number of years without claims is excluded, even if the damage cannot be recovered from the other party. But the company is still trying to deceive me for the second time. The first time I had full casco and they still made me pay for the repairs myself.
Disgusting customer service, you can wait in line for more than an hour for an answer.
