Allied Express has been a terrible…

Allied Express has been a terrible experience for our business. They deliberately inflate weights and dimensions of packages in order to charge extra fees — even when the correct weight is clearly stated and supported by evidence. This isn’t a one-off mistake; it’s a pattern of behaviour designed to squeeze more money out of customers.

Their customer service is unhelpful and dismissive, and they refuse to correct their errors even when provided with proof. As a business owner, I expect honesty and professionalism from a logistics company. Unfortunately, Allied Express has shown neither.

Avoid them if you value transparency and fair pricing.

DO NOT USE!!!! Dumped my very heavy boxes of flat pack furniture outside my garage where they could easily have been stolen. Would not deliver to my front door. Bunch of grubs.

Be cautious with Allied’s “competitive”…

Be cautious with Allied’s “competitive” quote—it comes with hidden costs.
1/ They changed our confirmed moving date last minute, which disrupted our short-term accommodation and caused a lot of stress.
2/ Despite clear written instructions, they shipped our belongings without confirmed insurance. Several items were damaged or went missing—totaling around AUD $10,000 in losses.
3/ To make things worse, they didn’t help with unpacking as promised in the proposal, even though I was six months pregnant and alone at the time.
Communication has been poor, and their responses have failed to address the full scope of the issues. I’ve now had to escalate the matter to NSW Fair Trading.
Overall, a frustrating and costly experience. Would not recommend unless you're prepared to manage everything yourself and deal with the consequences.

Absolutely hopeless

Absolutely hopeless. More than 14 days after my package "estimated delivery date" it still hasn't arrived. It's unbelievable that they've had my package in their possession for more than 3 weeks, even worse, the package was ordered no more than 1 hour away. In the meantime I've had packages delivered by other companies from WA and NT (I'm in NSW) that arrived in 1 week.

They are slowly improving, which is great!

I ordered water shoes, they arrived the wrong size, they were labeled with the incorrect size inside, so the seller did not know?
I sent photos with a king message showing the difference that they were at least 2 sizes to small. Shocking, but amazingingly in 2 minutes of receiving my email, they issued a refund.
I feel over the next 2 years that they will correct most things and be more like AMAZON with better pricing. I believe patience and kindness is the key.

She seriously lacked the care factor and being that the package will now need to be signed for makes the process so much more drawn out and inconvenient for everyone

Worst Service

Worst Service. Bought a 8k rug and few other rugs for new house,and first driver delivered smaller rigs and took signature, stating that big rug (expensive one) will be delivered later. I was home all day, and big rug wasn't delivered. Next day when u called allied express (Rachel) from customer service picked up the phone and conformed that rug was kept next to dust bins. I told her no one knocked at the door, as all of us were home, she was not able to explain why driver did that. In the top, when i said that want to lodge a complaint, she said I am not the customer, and sender has to lodge a complaint. My expensive rug was kept outside exposed (what if it would have rained or taken away??), for this she said she cannot do anything. Then I spoke to her manager Luke, then situation becomes from Bad to WORST. Luke said that u must have done ATL..authority to leave, which I never did. These guys don't want to acknowledge that they have done mistake. They hire drivers who cannot even communicate properly, and cannot be trained. All cutting corners.
Will definately go to Ombudsman n ACCC to officially complaint against ALLIED EXPRESS.

Excellent delivery experience today…

Excellent delivery experience today (Glenside SA): a large heavy parcel. The driver phoned me to give me an estimate of when he would arrive. He was spot on, and even brought the item up to the third floor, where my apartment is. Impressive!

Would prefer to rate them zero

Would prefer to rate them zero. The worst customer service experience from not only Deb but also the Customer Service manager who should know better. Rude, dismissive, zero empathy, accept no accountability and generally do not care. They even blamed their customer for them not noticing that they had picked up and transported a little 2kg box that was labelled and scanned as a 2m tv cabinet. There are so many better companies to choose from, I would never use these clowns again.

Poor customer service

The delivery person banged on the door very loudly, much louder than necessary. My partner is sleeping as they work late shifts, so this wasn't appreciated.
Then, he plopped the parcel on the ground, scanned it, photographed and then left it on the ground for me to pick up. It was very abrupt and lacked courtesy or respect. Poor customer service.

After reading the negative comments I was sceptical but I can't fault this delivery.
Tracking was accurate, delivery man was courteous and as we live quite a distance from a main city or town on a rural property I was more than pleased he delivered to my door. Thank you.

1 Star – Still waiting. Lied about delivery attempt on express service.

Allied Express is without doubt the worst courier I’ve ever dealt with. My parcel was sent via overnight express, yet it’s been sitting in their depot for over three days with no movement, zero communication, and no clear idea on when / if the parcel will ever been delivered.

When I asked the supplier to follow up, Allied lied and claimed a delivery attempt had been made — which is completely false. I’ve been home the entire time, tracking it closely, and at no point did the status show it was out for delivery. No one came, no card was left, and no contact was made.

Their customer service is non-existent and impossible to reach. If a retailer uses Allied Express, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. You’ll get delays, false updates, and no accountability.

Avoid at all costs.

Irresponsible Pathetic Customer Service

Hi All
Please very very careful with this Allied express delivery service.
They leave the delivery in front of your house or ground floor lounge if u live in an apartment.
They say it is their policy
Never tell you about their policy or inform you before they arrive
I gave my apartment number as well but left it in the lounge
Very poor customer service
Disgusting and appalling management
Avoid booking with these irresponsible people

T & W are in cahoots with Allied Express stealing from customers.

Purchased an office chair from Temple and Webster on 1 June 25 .. they sent it to Warnambool Allied Express and the depot has had it since 5 June. No contact, and no delivery which had a two day window (10-12 June).
I'm an old age pensioner and do not leave the unit and Allied Express have not delivered the chair.
I tried to contact T and W and was being given the run around by the AI bot.
No contact from either party as of 7pm 12/6.
Do not shop online with T & W if you live in rural Vic these 2 businesses will steal your money and then the products.
If I could give a negative star I would.
