Manager and Regional Director Promised to Fix Everything—Then Vanished

I wish I could give zero stars. My move with All My Sons Moving & Storage on October 22, 2025, was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I contracted and paid for a four-person crew due to heavy furniture — they sent only three. Because of that, they slid my furniture across my wood floors, leaving deep scratches that cost me $250 in emergency repairs before my home buyer’s walk-through. They also caused a hole in my ceiling and failed to properly wrap my upholstered furniture. My white velvet chaise was ripped and stained, my storage bench soiled, and several furniture parts were chipped. A custom mirror and glass shelves were shoved into storage unwrapped.

I have photos of everything. When I contacted Manager Tyler Kearney and Regional Director Andrew Conant, they both admitted how bad it was and promised to “make good on everything.” I believed them — but after scheduling a November 3rd appointment to fix things, the crew never showed up. No call, no follow-up, and now both Tyler and Andrew have completely disappeared.

To make matters worse, I later discovered a falsified signature on their final paperwork — I refused to sign that document because of all the issues.

This company’s lack of integrity, accountability, and professionalism is shocking. They caused damage, made promises to fix it, and then vanished. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from All My Sons Moving & Storage.

Outstanding service

Outstanding service from start to finish. We worked with Jacob and Keon on the planning and booking side, and everything was handled with professionalism and clear UPFRONT pricing — no surprises, no hidden fees, just honest and fair costs.

Our movers, Charles R., Seth B., and Orin N., were incredible. They were punctual, efficient, respectful, and treated our belongings with care. They worked quickly while still being extremely thorough, and made what could have been a stressful day feel smooth and organized.

Highly recommend All My Sons Moving for any residential or business move. Excellent communication, great pricing, and truly professional service. I would absolutely use them again.

Disorganized logistics & damaged fridge but appreciate their helpful follow up from customer service

I was having a fridge moved from another house to mine and needed the old fridge taken away. I was passed back and forth among multiple departments and locations on the phone when trying to schedule an appointment. When I initially booked, there was no mention that there was a separate cost for taking the old fridge or that, that part of the process needed to be confirmed with a different department. There was confusion and different information when I talked to each person.

I appreciate that when their scheduled truck had a flat tire, they sent another truck to come as soon as it was available. The movers though were tired (understandably so) and took short cuts (e.g. didn't initially remove the door after seeing the fridge wouldn't fit without doing so) and ended up denting and scratching the fridge in multiple places. Parts of the fridge were also broken off in the process. I shared feedback with staff and felt a discount was reasonable given the damage, but never heard back from anyone.

Terrible Experience

My mother hired All My Sons Moving & Storage last week for what should have been a simple household move — instead, it turned into one of the most stressful and disappointing experiences we’ve ever had.

Despite spending over $2,100, the movers left her home in complete disarray. Items were mishandled, several pieces of furniture were left scratched and unwrapped, and boxes were placed randomly throughout the house. It was clear the team was rushing and showed little to no care for her belongings or her comfort.

When we contacted the company to address these issues, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. For a company that advertises professionalism and care, the lack of accountability was shocking. My mother is a senior, and she was treated with zero respect or empathy throughout this process.

We expected to pay for a service that would make the move easier — instead, we’ve spent days trying to fix their mess and recover damages. I strongly recommend avoiding All My Sons if you value your time, money, or peace of mind

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! NOT RELIABLE!!I hired this company a 3 weeks in advance to book a move for Nov 1, 2025.Paid a deposit in all. 2 days before the move. I spoke with one of the company managers "Oscar" @ Richmond-Midlothian location. Thursday to confirm moving details and arrival time between 8:30 a.m- 9:30a.m, and again on Friday to reconfirm. The manager Oscar assured me and reassured me several times that everything is good. I told him this was my first time hiring a moving company and I don't want NO problems or surprises! I looked at all the reviews before hiring them and they "appeared" to be all good probably red flag. He did ask if I read all the reviews saying no worries "they are professionals and a good company" and I said yes I did but ok. The morning of the moved the manager Oscar called me @ 7:58 am with "important update about your move sorry but we have a problem.."Unfortunately WE DON'T have NO MOVER'S AVAILABLE and we DON'T HAVE A TRUCK". I said what! are you serious you're calling me now the morning of to tell me this? I was VERY upset obviously he kept trying to apologize saying he understands he's sorry. I told him to please stop. He asked if I could do it the next day. I said are you kidding me NO I have to move out TODAY! I hope this review isn't too long as I wanted to give much details. All the reassurance he gave was a waste of breath and those reviews hmm yeah right!! Price seemed fair with a 100$ off special. Service was cancelled deposit was refunded. PLEASE BE AWARE Of "ALL MY SON's moving company!!!" NEVER AGAIN!! I would have given zero star's if it we're possible!!!

Do Not Trust Their Quotes

I received a quote for $670 to move A single bed (mattress and box spring), a fainting couch (a small couch), a bicycle, and a stationary bike, 38 miles. I did a virtual walk through with the estimator so they knew exactly what they were moving and how far. The final bill was $865. That a big difference when the estimate was for 5 pieces to go 38 miles.

Our Move

Nathan, Tracy, Zay, Delonte, Russel were the movers that came and did our unpacking. They were absolutely amazing!! So helpful, professional, courtesy, and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this moving team to everyone…they made this such an easy process for us!

The crew hired showed up within 15 minutes of the requested start time. All 4 crew members were courteous and flexible in what we needed done. This was our 3rd experience with All My Sons, and we nave no complaints!

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. They took my deposit and then called me the morning of the move to say they couldn’t do the job. That alone shows a complete lack of reliability and planning, but what really pushed this over the edge was how the manager handled it — zero empathy, incredibly rude, and completely dismissive of the inconvenience they caused.

This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in years. They wasted my time, kept my money far too long, and showed no accountability. If you value professionalism, integrity, or basic respect for your time, look elsewhere. There are plenty of moving companies that actually stand behind their commitments — this is not one of them.

Absolute nightmare

Absolute nightmare. We used the Mobile office. First let me say that Justin and Gus were awesome and did a fabulous job, considering the position they were put in. The company told us we would have 4 to 6 movers for the full packing move of our house from Elba AL to Montgomery AL. They sent two guys who did not know they were doing a full packing job. They sent them in a truck that was too small and without enough packing materials. What was supposed to be a 7 hour pack turned into 9 1/2 hours packing job and what was supposed to be a one day move turned into a 2 day job. We had to go to our new house with all of our furniture on the truck until the next day. Because of the shortage of packing materials and the size of the truck they didn’t get all of our stuff. We are waiting to see when they can finish the job. It was hinted that they might try to charge us for a second trip. Meanwhile Quinn, who was the man in charge of the move would not return our calls although he was on the phone with the movers multiple times. Communication throughout the process was horrible. There has been no effort on the company’s part to reach out to us even after several complaints. I will never use this company again and I would recommend that nobody should ever use them.

Ive never written a bad review in my…

Ive never written a bad review in my life but feel the need to warn others. I had a TERRIBLE experience and overcharged a lot of money. Zero communication or response with lots of damages. Here is the summary:

- Movers arrived 2 hours late, then charged me $268 for Overtime fees even though they didn't go over 7 hours from start to finish. Since they had to leave before 8 hours, I had to book a 2nd move with them and they didn't have an availability until A WEEK LATER.
- Quoted me $149 an hour plus $50 off entire 2nd move, but ended up charging me $159 an hour and didn't give me the discount.
- Charged me for shrink wrap. tape, boxes, mattress bags that WERE NOT USED. I was charged for 4 mattress bags and only have 2 mattresses. I also provided tape and still got charged extra product.
- Broke my dining table and chairs
- Broke my dresser

So far, all I've received back is $140 for the damaged furniture but NO RESPONSE on the overcharges. I reached out to them every week for the last 6 weeks, with no response, no communication, no emails, no phone call backs etc. Ridiculous, can't believe they are running the business like this.

Nathan and Remos were great

Nathan and Remos were great! They moved my great aunt from Fort Walton Beach to Pensacola. They were nice and efficient, bearing with the slow elevator and handling everything with care.
