From the first call to the setup of the connection in just a week (after being an estimated 2-3 weeks) was absolutely brilliant, everything was so smooth after being with the previous company for nearly a decade moving to alncom was probably the best decision I've made this year.
The whole team have been amazing from the office to the engineers, I just cannot fault they made the process of switching over the equipment super speedy and highly professional throughout.
It may have only been a week since the switch on but the speeds have been a game changer and I haven't had to reset any router once because of it going down.

We got broadband for our caravan in Clennell, from booking the engineer to come out to survey, to the installation, all very quick, friendly and efficient.
Good that you get to talk to a person and one that knows the area too. Cant recommend enough, signal is perfect and price very reasonable.

Weird experience. Was really suspicious of these guys. They appeared out of nowhere doing a massive canvassing sweep of the village, offering too good to be true service and my back was right up thinking they were scammers.
Turns out they are just a bl00dy good company that gets stuff done.
Anyway showed interest in the initial spiel from the canvasser. In a village so out in the sticks you just accept no one will bring decent internet here. Just as out of the blue as the original canvassing, teams are out digging up the entire estate. They got it done fast too. Next they arranged to connect to the individual houses. So I'm offered for internet free til my current contract runs out. This was about a year and a half. I'm again suspicious thinking what's the catch, they're never gonna honour that but again, they honoured what they said they would. Gave us internet until our contract expired to join them officially.
Today had to call them. Not their fault. I caused a problem with router settings. Phoned them up. No 5 minutes sitting through garbage how I can find answers on line. No telling me how they're recording the call for training and quality. 1 button press and straight through to an English speaker who resolved the problem, with a clear exchange of instructions.
I cannot think of any reason to not use this company unless you need super speeds, which no one else can provide round here anyway. They provide 100Mbps upload and download and that does us across 2x rooms gaming and one room streaming TV simultaneously, sometimes with a 4th device downloading too, plus 3x phones.
No more shoddy companies supplying the same junk through BT caveman equipment, with their dark ages green boxes down the street and waiting 2 weeks for some bloke to come and wire the copper, getting 28Mbps on a very good day if you were lucky. Usually 15Mbps. Now we have decent, reliable, high speed broadband in a reasonably high demand household.

Congratulations, Alncom, for a masterful Project to bring 5G full fibre broadband to Stamfordham - initiated through a Public Meeting called by the Parish Council, at which an Alncom Director and Senior Management outlined to Villagers what would be involved and timings. Cables needed to be laid for many miles, Alncom's own Exchange would be set up and 5G full fibre broadband would be brought to the homes of Participants. From start to finish it has been a most enjoyable experience, Staff laying Cables were always courteous and friendly as were the Staff who came to install the Broadband in homes. Once the Broadband was installed in the home, Staff stayed to tune in Appliances : Laptops, Mobile Phones, TV, Printer. In our case, one Laptop had a flat battery and, once charged, proved difficult to link up...a message was sent to a Staff member, working in the Village, who specialised in solving problems....it took well over 30 minutes and there was never any sign of frustration or agitation. Speeds improved from 30Mbps to 200Mbps !! Alncom only supply the Broadband but suggested a Company for the Landline. The Contract with our existing Broadband / Landline Supplier had to be cancelled as they could not match the new arrangement. Unfortunately, in cancelling the Contract, a misunderstanding arose between the new Landline Supplier and the previous Landline Supplier with no solution in sight. Alncom stepped in, engaged with the Landline Suppliers at Director level and the Landline was operative within 4 days. A masterful Project, thank you, Alncom !!

Superb service from Alncom who installed WI-FI in our village church in Rock this week. I cannot praise the two Alncom lads, Josh and George enough. They were very polite and extremely helpful, kept me informed throughout and did a fantastic job with minimal disturbance. Very professional and tidy and a pleasure to work with. We have had broadband service to our lodge for over two years without any problems. On Saturday evening during a thunderstorm we lost broadband. I rang the helpline on Sunday morning and had a quick call back from an engineer. He was very pleasant, knowledgable and with me working as his eyes diagnosed the problem within minutes. He promised a rapid visit by an engineer to fix the problem.
The next morning a very pleasant and courteous engineer attended and quickly restored service. I also had an email from the company offering further help if we needed it.
I cannot speak highly enough of this company. I wish all telecoms companies were this personal, effective and efficient.
I have been fighting for 6 months with the housing developer to get fibre installed as I have a blocked duct and as they have not signed the land over to the council the developers wanted to charge me for someone to come out and unblock it even tho the blockage is from their contractors. After calls and emails from me to the developers and Alncom. I spoke to Glenn from Alncom who has also been in touch with the developers to try and get this rectified for me. Glenn has offered to send his team out and unblock the duct so I can eventually get fibre broadband. I am just waiting for a call to get this arranged. The customer service has been amazing and I highly recommend Alncom and as it’s a local company even better

After years of frustration with BT and their inability to provide a reliable connection due due to broken lines and complex installation challenges, Alncom stepped in and delivered a truly perfect solution.
A massive shout-out goes to Glen Hindhaugh and his incredible civils team. Glen's expertise and dedication were evident from our very first interaction. He took the time to genuinely understand the unique complications of installing full fibre to our remote farm, something BT had repeatedly failed to grasp. Glen went above and beyond, meticulously exploring and finding a completely new, viable route to ensure we could finally get the full fibre upgrade we desperately needed. His problem-solving skills and commitment to finding a perfect solution were truly remarkable.
Our thanks also extend to Ian, who provided invaluable support with the contract details and information. He made the entire transition process incredibly clear and transparent, ensuring we understood every step.
On the day of the installation, the team was fantastic – friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. It's truly refreshing to be supported by another local company that genuinely cares about its customers.
Finally, a special mention to the friendly internal customer service ladies who were always a pleasure to speak with. Their helpfulness and pleasant demeanor made every interaction a positive one.
