Fake product reviews. False return information

Before seeing these Trustpilot reviews I ordered 2 pair of the adaptive technology glasses Dec 19. After waiting for weeks, they arrive. Complete junk. I immediately requested a return & refund through the support email provided. They are apologetic and refer me to a gmail account for the return steps. I send a request daily and never get a response. So frustrating. The reviews on the site for the product are obviously fake. The guarantee claims appear false since no one will respond.

This company really are rubbish

This company really are rubbish. I bought VisionSync Multi-focal Glasses from their online shop. They took ages (not 3-4 days as promised) to arrive. They simply do not work. Distance viewing is just blurred. Reading is just about possible, though uncomfortable. Tried to return them without any luck. Multiple emails sent to "Customer Support" without any reply. I do however get many many marketing emails.

Better to burn your money, least this company won't get it.

Please do not order from this company. They are cheap, tacky reading glasses, that would have cost £1.50 in the uk. They were not even delivered in a box, could have been easily crushed. The company do not care because you can not contact them in any way. They take your money and then hide. I tried to cancel the order straight after, having then read the trustpilot reviews and they said in an email they would do it, but low and behold they still sent the order out which took two weeks to do, so they had plenty of time to cancel. Trying to get a refund from paypal but I doubt that will happen. Always read trustpilot first!
Paypal refused refund on the basis that the glasses were "similar" to what I ordered. In what world are reading glasses similar to varie vocals. Paypal are just as bad! Shame on them too! Absolutely useless.

Ordered glasses from Alpinewear shop…

Ordered glasses from Alpinewear shop .Delivered to wrong address. Have tried to contact "customer service" 3 times and no response. Nowhere to contact a live customer service rep, a real online scam company. Do not shop!!!

The specs are useless

This is ny second attempt to write a review. My first review was strangely not accepted. The specs are a scam. Cheap, Chinese, toy spectacles. Vision better without than with them. I must have been mad to fall for the scam. Never will I purchase from Youtube again.

Complete Scam -- Report to FTC!

Like many others, ordered glasses with supposedly advertised "Multifocal Adaptive Technology." The glasses took much longer to be delivered and only arrived in a cheap thinly padded envelope. They are just cheap flimsy reading glasses. Nothing else. Upon further research for contact info, I found out the business that operates Alpine Wear and reported them to the FTC.

Fake Glasses

Alpine Wear’s claims of “VisionSync Multifocal using Adaptive Technology “for the Alpine Wear glasses are totally fake. The glasses took much longer to be delivered and arrived in a padded envelope with nothing else. These glasses are made of very cheap plastic and do not exhibit any “advance” technology to deal with sight correction. There is nothing unique or worthwhile about this product. A full refund was sought (based again the Alpine Wear customer satisfaction statement) for a product which does not meet reasonable expectations, nor do the glasses meet any level of useability. Despite numerous emails to Alpine Wear support services no response was ever forthcoming. The advertisement blurb is wholly misleading and contains no empirical evidence about the accuracy of the claims and statements made by Alpine Wear. Do not bother considering these glasses which are fake and a refund will never be made.

SCAM...

ONLINE SCAM... No product delivered!!
I ordered glasses from Alpine Wear over one month ago and never received anything. I contacted the company several times by email and received no response.
The payment was taken immediately, but there has been no shipping confirmation, no tracking, and no customer support. Because of this, I suspected it's online scam.
I strongly advise others to be very careful before ordering from this website. My experience has been a complete loss of money and time.
If the company is legitimate, they should respond and resolve customer complaints. Until then, I cannot recommend this business to anyone.

Lying B.S. M'fers

Lying m'fers sent me a pair of standard +4.00 reading glasses instead of the supposed "multifocal" glasses. Total B.S. scam. They're ripping off people left and right. Web Warriors...we need to go after them hard and shut them down...

I won't be using them again.

I ordered glasses back end of last year and still waiting for them. I received an email from " Michael" thanking for the order and I asked him where are they and I'm still waiting for a reply. You can't track an order so why offer it?

Even the reviews on their website must be fake

Should have checked TrustPilot. Not only are the AlpineWear glasses a total scam - they do not work at all, Not close to what the website said. Zero responces from the customer service email to request a refund. So that is a scam also. And even all the good reviews of the glasses on their website will be fake too now I see these bad reviews on Trust pilot. Karma will get Alpinewear - thieves. No other word to describe them.

Do not buy - all claims are false

Ordered a pair of "VisionSync Multifocal Glasses + Gift [Adaptive Technology]" for €30.
Received a cheap pair of +3.50 reading glasses. The frame feels very cheap and the lenses were cheap plastic with the corner of one of them having what appears to be melted plastic. Nothing multifocal and no "gift" - They have gone straight to the bin/wastebasket. PLEASE do not fall for their ridiculous claims - this is definitely a scam - I wish Trustpilot had the option of giving this company ZERO stars.

Very bad customer service

Very bad, waited 3 weeks for a 4-7 day delivery expectation. Told I would receive a refund because I had to go and buy a pair of these glasses elsewhere, whilst waiting for my delivery from Alpinewear to arrive.
Refund of £29.00 apparently processed on 22/12/25 told 5/10 working days for refund to process. As of today 12/01/2026, still no refund ,or any response from Alpinewear.
I wouldn't touch them with a Barge Pole !!!

Great advert but glasses are fake, useless, flimsy

Never buy glasses from Alpine Wear: they're fake. The company's advert was professional and impressive, and its claims for its glasses wear were convincing. They delivered a useless product (eye glasses), in flimsy packaging, and have never addressed my request for a refund, and their email address for raising disputes on orders does not respond at all, ever (not even an auto response). A complete waste of €29.90. I think the company is fraudulent and sends fake products simply to delay any chance of complaints or refund requests.

Details below:

The delivered glasses looked nothing like the quality versions shown in the ad. Instead, they were made out of the cheapest, flimsiest plastic, and the "lenses" were a joke - with zero visibility despite the company's claims that its lenses were designed for easy vision.

Run away from alpine wears products

This is the worst experience I have ever had in purchasing product online. Shipping took longer time to deliver the product. The product are like baby toys. It is truly a scam! Poor customer service, product return and refund is horrible and ugly.
