£169 down rhe drain

I ordered 2 avalanche transceivers and I only received one. They were unwilling to refund me for the missing item. Will never use again.

False prices get you to set up an account with all your details then change the price of the items in your basket.... disgusting and £20 delivery on top

HIDDEN CHARGES

HIDDEN CHARGES
DO NOT ORDER UNLESS YOU WORK OUT THE COST
When I ordered I was charged £24.69 EU VAT and £ 13.92 UPS postage when I made the purchase Boots £123.46 Total £162.07
When they were delivered, I had to pay the UPS driver another £73.75. Ridiculous
Even tho I paid Alpin EU they are trying to charge me UK VAT I've asked Alpin to refund the EU VAT fraud.
UK VAT payable: ~£27.48 UPS admin fee: ~£12–£20
Customer Service a waste of space. I will not order AGAIN!!!

As of January 1, 2021, VAT and administrative fees apply as follows:

- Orders under £135: Local VAT is paid directly when you place your order on our website. Only an administrative fee may be charged (£5 for DPD and £11 for DHL).

Orders over £135: Local VAT must be paid upon delivery to the carrier, along with an additional administrative fee (£5 for DPD and £20 for UPS).

This information is detailed in our Terms and Conditions, and normally, when you place your order, a message in red in the shopping cart indicates that fees may apply depending on the country.

Arrived with packaging open and board sticking out.

I have ordered 2 snowboards from Alpin the past couple of years and that experience was good. However this time the packaging was in such bad shape when it arrived the snowboard was poking out on both ends. No major top sheet scratches but a few slight dings in the tip and tail. I wish the board was packaged more securely.

Hidden costs

Hidden costs. Website states free delivery for orders over 129EUR. Ordered ski boots over 300EUR, was charged 30EUR shipping costs. Ureliable and non-transparent. Scammers which pose as legitimate sellers. Customer service not serious - lying about shipping costs after having asked several times.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND STILL WAITING FOR REFUND

Firstly, goods(priced in £GB) on Google search, so no indication that this. Ompany was in France.
Secondly, no obvious mention about additional import taxes and VAT due (£70 on top of a £150 purchase price.) nothing at checkout to make customers aware.
Thirdly, Delivery courier driver (UPS) extremely rude to my wife about taking payment at delivery point. She knew nothing about the purchase and thought it might be a scam. Driver drove off with parcel. Next day, having contacted Seller and Courier to say I would not take delivery under these circumstances, I got threatened with having to pay any further taxes/delivery costs if goods were returned. No attempt to rectify the issue fairly, just threats.DONT BUY HERE!

For orders over £135, local VAT must be paid upon delivery to the carrier, along with the corresponding administrative fees (£5 DPD & £20 UPS).

In the event of a package being refused due to non-payment of customs duties and VAT, Alpinstore will only refund the cost of products returned by the carrier, after deducting the customs fees charged to Alpinstore for the return.

This information is detailed in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale, and normally, when you place your order, a message in red in your shopping cart indicates that fees may apply depending on the country.

Extremely Satisfied

Selection and pricing was excellent. Online ordering and payment was easy. Tracking package via UPS was exact. Delivered in time period stated. Upon notice from UPS, prepaid U.S. Tarriff. Extremely Satisfied.

Excellent Shop, poor UPS Delivery

Very fast service and product as expected, excellent! However, UPS showed extremely poor service: They did not try to deliver to my home address. I had to pick up at some dark office in a nearby industrial area, very inconvenient. I also could only open the package after accepting, while AlpinStore requires to check content before accepting - luckily everything was fine.
