Totally inflexible when I asked to change my flight (and transfer) for an urgent family matter. Impersonal customer service that doesn’t care about local and loyal customers living in the Alps!

Aritza picked us up from Morzine and drove us to Geneva airport. He arrived in good time, was friendly and courteous and was a very competent driver and obviously knew his way around the region. Hassle free transfer and would definitely use again. Merci!
Awful service
Awful service. Avoid this company. We booked a transfer from Geneva to Les Gets for a trip in March for 2 adults and a baby. We specifically paid for a car seat for our baby and we were told we were going to be transported in a van so we could use the car seat. In the end, they placed us on bus, they didn't give us a car seat, and we just had to hold our baby in our arms for the whole journey. Completely unsafe. Then they said they were going to at least give us a refund for the car seat we paid for which we never got. After multiple chasers, they just never reply.
Completely unprofessional service, look somewhere else (there's a reason I'm not the only one leaving a bad review).
The service was super cheap and smooth
The service was super cheap and smooth. Paulo B was our driver for the outbound journey and he was fab! When you’re at the Alpybus desk at Geneva airport, it can get extremely busy and it is not always obvious that they’re calling you to the bus. We were at the back of a large crowd waiting for our transfer to be called and missed our scheduled transfer as the announcement was not loud enough over the crowd of people and we thought they would be on a loud speaker which they weren’t. They tried to call my phone but it wasn’t working. However, they very quickly booked us onto the next available transfer for free. Overall it was a helpful service and I would use them again.
Generally went well
Felt like I need to leave a review to add some balance against the negative ones. We used Alpybus for a return transfer from Geneva to Morzine at the tail end of last year. We almost didn't book but with their black friday discount code the price difference was too much to ignore. The transfer from Geneva was great, the guys at the counter actually put us on an earlier transfer as they had space so top marks there. The transfer was good but we were dropped about 500m from our accommodation, which was the only negative. Unfortunately we'd never been before so we didn't know where it was but they were given the address beforehand.
The transfer from Morzine to Geneva was great, we were picked up correctly outside our accommodation and the driver was fantastic, very polite and drove well. We got to the airport in good time.
The lack of snow at the time probably helped with the transfers but overall I can't complain, just that minor niggle!
Excellent service and great driver - Paulo B.
Thank you very much for the great service on our recent trips between GVA and Avoriaz, in particular the return journey on 09/04 driven by Paulo B.
Over the years I've had many journeys to the ski resorts and most drivers want to get up and down the mountain as quickly as possible resulting to car sickness due to all the bends and hairpins. Paulo drove so smoothly that for the first time no-one felt ill at all. He also warmly welcomed us all aboard and made us feel at ease. Thank you Paulo.
Ours was a private transfer for 12 people. AlpyBus's communication was very good with texts and emails confirming the pick-ups times and locations very well.
Low Level Bus Scam
Scammed. They post loads of bus hours each day to get the max number of customers, then only run the ones that are full. If you are unlucky and your bus isn't full you will get an email like me, less then 24 hours before so you can't request a refund, that changes your bus time radically, often by 4+ hours. None of the people in the company are actually Swiss or even speak french, terrible experience.
Good value service.
We used Alpybus for a recent Geneva-Morzine transfer (and back). Very responsive whenever we needed to contact them over email and the service was exactly what we expected from a group transfer. Our driver on the way back (subcontracted as an easyBus) - Paulo B - was excellent... very friendly... and his careful driving saved the day when a pair of skis fell from a car onto the high speed road to Geneva and he had to take evasive action.
Left us stranded 70km from airport
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Left us stranded in our destination, over 70km away from the airport, with no other options available. Cost us over 300euros to secure alternative transport to the airport. After all that, AlpyBus have also refused us a refund because we "cancelled" within 7 days.
Appalling, do not use.
Appalling service. Rude customer service, try to elicit more money at every possibility, rider arrived 2 hours late for return journey, took a longer route to avoid paying the toll on the motorway which caused us to miss our flights, no apology or responsibility taken by the company, would never use again.
Anoushka from the AlpyBus feedback…
Anoushka from the AlpyBus feedback service was very helpful and resolved the issue we had promptly.
Customer service like this is a breath of fresh air
Woeful company - avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
Woeful company with zero customer service. Avoid like the plague. There are alternatives. They chop and change your schedule to suit themselves and will sell seats at times which don’t exist. Then text you at the last minute to change. Disastrous company which will hopefully be bust soon enough.
Avoid using
Requested a cost for a private transfer from Geneva to Morzine. Quotation received and accepted for private transfer. Then they put us on a bus with multiple drops. Have emailed several times with no response. Complete con. Wont be using Aplybus again!!!
Unreliable service with significant delays
I’ve just been informed by the company that they are putting my transfer back by 2-30 hours! With only a12 hours notice . I have been given no options to cancel
This is incredibly poor service by a company who just doesn’t care - I would recommend others to use someone else
OK, but be careful if you're on a schedule
Gave AlpyBus another shot but was left disappointed once again. We'd booked an 11.30am slot and was informed at 8pm the night before that the bus would leave at 2.45pm. The staff were very apologetic but no, could not get us on the 10.45 or 12.30 buses. We were referred back to the T&Cs which allow a shift up to 4 hours, and while factual, wasn't very helpful.
Matters were made worse when the bus broke down, although a replacement did arrive in around 40 minutes.
I'm pleased to say that the return journey was as smooth as clockwork.
Totally unreliable..avoid!!
Totally unreliable! Avoid!!
Geneva public transport is supposed to be very reliable, but this service was an absolute shambles on various levels .
For starters, the stated departure time is not the actual departure time. You will receive a text the day before stating that it has changed. Mine was changed by 45 minutes.
On arrival at Geneva airport, there was a further delay of over an hour and the staff had no way of contacting the driver to find out why.
Total delay: almost 2 hours.
In addition, I specified my drop off location in Chamonix to be rue de mont blanc. As it turned out, the driver only stops at Chamonix sud , which is 20 minutes walk away.
I would avoid using this service.
Terrible company to deal with, stay away and pay the extra € for a stress free service
Terrible company to deal with. I have already posted a mail direct to Alpybus with no response. I have reviewed on Tripadvisor, no response. Shared transfer to me is where you have a small minibus with one or maybe two more families generally going to the same or very close to the same place. I wasn't aware Alpybus shared transfer basically meant you got in line on a large coach (like you would on a package holiday) and then have to wait until all drops were made. We were the last drop and they passed our accomodation to drop us at the last stop, the gondoloa in Prodains. It wasn't until we got off the bus and realized we were a 10 minute walk to our residence, this is not a door to door service. This was made much worse by the fact the the return walk back up the hill was at 4am (for a 10am flight!) up hill in heavy snow, it took us 30 minutes and we were absolutely exhausted getting on the bus. I tried explaining on the phone the day before that our address was not at the gondola but the Alpybus telephone agents, although polite, were basically unable or unwilling to listen and make the necessary changes to ensure we got collected at the right address. We were scheduled on early coach because the later times were already filled with passengers, this even though Alpybus had our flight times and were paid already two weeks earlier, they could have but just did not accommodate us. Prodains is the end of the line, Alpybus is not helpful. They sign all their responses on Trustpilot as "Alpybus" they are nameless and unaccountable. Stay away and make sure you are dealing with a company you can trust if things go wrong.

Alan Lopez was outstanding
Alan Lopez was outstanding. Dealt with a potential crises in a very cool and professional manner. And a goid safe driver too.
Friendly service
Our driver George was great, very friendly and efficient and drove safely on the snowy/icy roads coming out of Tignes. Transfer left on time and was comfortable. Great overall experience!
