Do not hire from this company Wrong instructions to pick up the car at the Alicante Airport. Wrong instructions on the ticket, under the heading All Included, it shows unlimited milage and insurance. Nowhere says I have to give 800 euros from my card to them in case of theft and accident. If it says all included I expect that for what I am paying is included insurance. Very rude staff, after I refused to hire the car because he was asking for a deposit of 800 euros to his bank account, not blocked from my credit card, he actually asked to give him 800 euros. I did not trusted this person and refused to hire the car. I asked if I get a refund and he said NO refund. We were like 6 km from the airport, I asked to take us back to the terminal. He refused to take us back. The sun is very strong in Alicante, I almost died walking the way back and thanks to a very kind person my family and I managed to get back to the airport. I wrote to suporte I asked for a refund. They say in 10 days I will have it. Now after 2 months I am still waiting for it. Avery mail I write to suporte I do not get a reply and I get totally ignored.
Do a favour to yourself rent you car from some where else. DO NOT HIRE FROM THIS COMPANY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

You actually have the wrong timing of the events.
We started insulting this person AFTER he refused to take us back to the airport and also told us there was no taxi service there. And when I asked him he was doing this on purpose he moved his head up and down saying yes . You were not there and if you were you would insulted him. It was 6 Km under the sun.
The instructions are clear. They are on an email received and NOWHERE say I have to give £800 to the person behind the counter. It says All included under this also the 800 so it means all included!
How can you have your head full of smoke to not understand this.
Destroying staff?? It was a doll sitters on a chair made of old clothes filled with plastic bags. Made really bad! I put it together and it was left intact.
You suppose to pay compensation to me for the very bad experience
Another thing, if is as you said, the other company suppose to refund. Why did you not tell me two months ago instead you wrote an email from your office saying that my refund will be with me in 15 days.

I was charged 400€ for damages I did not do. We has a collision, the other car agreed officially, all insurances agree that we are not guilty but Alquicoche does not answer and do not pays us back! While there is not even a scratch!!! I have been trying to reach them for months!!!

Booked on expedia. Very straight forward car rental. Good communication from the staff. A bit of a wait for collection at ALC as the base is a few kilometers away from the arrivals area but the friendly staff more than made up for that. I would definately use again.

I was charged 400 eu for damages I did not do. I made the mistake of taking out an insurance with DOYOUSPAIN instead of the Alquicoche directly and did not take photos of the entire car (i.e. under the door handle, where there will always be almost invisible to the eye scratches), I will never use them again.

We didn't have any problem with the car overall, and it was in good condition. The problem was at the time of check-in. The company is far from all the other car rentals, although they pick you up at the airport, their shuttle doesn't look very official. The outside of the check-in building is not labeled, there's only a counter, and the same person who picks you up is the one who does the check-in. To pick up the vehicle, we went down to a basement that looked abandoned and not safe at all with the times we live in today. There were only 2 cars in the basement garage. The company should have more signage, and the vehicles should be placed outside, ready for pickup, so that customers don't go through such an insecure experience.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE COMMITTING FRAUD.
The situation I am experiencing is unbelievable. I rented the car from the Vigo offices from 11/2 to 12/2. I was told I needed to pay 200 euros deposit which I did but when I told them I was driving to Portgugal they said the deposit would be £800 Euros. I paid this and the fee of the rental and the 25 euro fee for driving to Portugal. I made sure I filmed all of the car before I took the car and I made sure I filmed the car completely again when I returned the car to prove there were no issues. The person collecting the car acknowledged there were no issues yet Marta Almeida who seems to be the person in charge of the Vigo office will not return my deposit. Before I rented the car she was messaging very promptly. Since returning the car she has blue ticked my messages on WhatsApp but no responded. I then contacted Alquicoche complaints WhatsApp department. They said they would investigate, messaged me again and now will not respond to my messages. This is unbelievable. It is theft and deception. I have given the company until tomorrow to pay my deposit back and then I will start to go through legal proceedings. I am hoping someone high up in management can see this review and do the right thing and return my deposit immediately. I had an amazing time in Portugal and Spain with my son but stealing 800 euros is completely unacceptable and has left me enraged.

Very good all around service and the car was great.

Everything is difficult upon arrival and picking up the car, the reception is located on a remote industrial estate outside the airport. A pick-up and delivery service is offered. Their counter is located in a hall of an empty building with a unprofessional and young staff. When handing over the car, you insist on additional insurance, otherwise a deposit of 500 Euro. When we returned, no one was present at the office and we could decide for ourselves how we needed to get to the airport. We weren't the only ones standing there. Calls were not answered and calls were not returned. Upon arrival at the airport, I immediately received an email with a damage form and the repair costs were 500 euros. No photos were sent and they followed up several days later. However, these were not taken at the place where we had registered the car. It is not clear whether there is damage or pollution, but the 500 euros will be collected immediately. Checking the car, recording the damage and drawing up a report took approximately 5 minutes, including the associated costs. Repeatedly a unprofessional rental company and this is their revenue model. I have rented many cars worldwide, but I have never experienced this problem.
