Increased the price of the red nian gao from £9-ish to a whopping £18 in the span of a year. No level of inflation can justify that kind of price hike. Absolutely bonkers. Also, they offer 20% off build-your-own-meal boxes but only allow you to select non-festive items.
I ordered a dim sum signature box which was received via royal mail the next day after posting. The package did not include any insulated cool boxes contrary to their website. The food was therefore completely unfrozen, mushy and unsafe to eat. I demanded a refund and they're ignoring me. Do not buy.
Never delivered the food and never refunded
I invited few friends over for dinner and boiled some frozen pouches for 15 minutes and had 6 dishes ready to go! It was incredible! My friends enjoyed the food and complimented on my "cooking" skills, but I know it was all thanks to alta foods! I will order again soon
Great quality food, well packaged with clear cooking instructions. Impressed.
Absolutely delicious.
Super simple and easy to make, great if you want restaurant grade food in seconds.
Would recommend to anyone - especially the pork belly and fried rice.
Very small portions that they state are for 2 people. Really not in the case of the one from Goldfish. The pouch was the size of a medium potato.
Was recommended by a family member to deal with the cravings for some good authentic chinese/indian meals during lockdown. From good London restaurants like Dumpling legend and Goldfish. You can pick delivery date and comes with chilled packaging and in sous vide pouches for reheat. Good value and tasty. I recommend the curry beef brisket, aubergine mash.
