When I was first told about Alternaleaf I was very sceptical.
6 months after becoming a patient my life has changed, and for the better. I switched from a water pipe and started using a dry herb vape, my breathing and energy levels have significantly increased, the flower is of the best quality and most of the medication is cheaper than elsewhere.
Meds always arrive by Royal Mail the next day, simply an amazing quality service.
Highly recommended !!!

I've been with Alternaleaf/Montu for almost 2 years, and it has mostly been stress free, up to the past 6-8 months. Once a prescription has been made available for purchase, things are smooth, almost always next day delivery. It says alot that the best part of this clinic and pharmacy is when no contact or participation is required on their side.
Reviews are the biggest issue, and they have been getting progressively worse. They are a pointless box ticking exercise, with the clinicians or pharmacists 9/10 times being disengaged, checked out or late, or, as was the case for my last review, just not bothering to turn up at all. These sort of issues would be forgivable if it didn't lead to knock on delays with processing a prescription, leading to gaps in treatment. I am currently almost a week without access to medication because Alternaleaf deemed it appropriate to lock me out of booking my review until a week after I should have been able to request my next prescription. When I contacted them, I was told a bridging prescription wouldn't be possible, and that the earliest appointment was at the end of the week. Then later that day. Then it was maybe possible. Then it was possible. During that time the agent booked 2 seperate review appointments without even checking if I was available during those times, one a few hours ahead, ignoring that I told the agent I was working, and then one for later in the week, neither of which I could attend. Mountains of time wasting on my side and theirs simply to enable me to access the medication I have been using daily for almost 2 years now.
What exactly is the point of legal access when that legal access involves more stress than a trip to a local dealer, or simply buying illegally online? To add to this, stock is a constant and ongoing issue, with items going out of stock almost immediately, and staying out of stock even when they are available from other pharmacies. This leads to changing strains or products every month unless you have a limitless budget for your meds.
I don't use cannabis to get high, I use it to treat a variety of issues which, when treated, are significantly reduced, allowing me to live a more normal life. These gaps in stock, gaps in administration, gaps in knowledge on the part of their front line staff are just an ongoing piss take, really.
You will receive apologies about being inconvenienced, as if I am annoyed about a delayed amazon parcel, you'll be told things are being prioritised, marked as urgent, escalated, all the usual customer service fob-em-off BS. They'll say this and that are their top priorities, ignoring that the issues that crop up most often are ongoing and long term. They seemingly have endless staffing hours available for marketing and social media and sales teams, because of course.
Ultimately, they've become too big for their boots and give not even a hint of a damn about the patient experience.
Update: lol the reply is hilarious. I'm still sitting here without access to medication having spent every day contacting the clinic and spending 2 hours on the phone this morning. My review is complete and I STILL have no access to submitting a prescription AND the bridging script is nowhere to be seen. Absolute bullshitting.
UPDATE 2: lol, so it turns out I was lied to by every single member of staff I've spoken to this week. No bridging prescription was issued or even approved. I've been left without medication for over a week and not one - not one singular entity - at the clinic I use to access medical cannabis has been able to help me actually obtain said medical cannabis. Computer keeps saying no. All they say is "we will update you" about what though I have no idea, as all I care about is accessing my medication, not investigations or explanations. Avoid like the plague.

Completely rubbish good doctors and marketing rubbish admin, constantly asking for information to be provided after submitting multiple times and no easy options to get support. There are much better alternatives.

Excellent service from start to finish. The whole process was simple, professional and much less stressful than I expected. Everyone I spoke to was friendly, understanding and genuinely helpful.
Communication was clear throughout, appointments were easy to arrange, and I felt listened to rather than rushed. The staff made everything straightforward and kept me updated at each step.
The prescription arrived quickly and the product quality has been excellent so far. Overall, a really positive experience and I would definitely recommend Alternaleaf to anyone considering medical cannabis treatment.

I’m just over the moon, the customer care & service is fantastic. Thank you Sam for your help today, like many other calls I’ve made. Sorted & explained a few things.
I’m suffering with fibromyalgia plus other issues.
Like many humans I’ve done the Drs Hospitals and more, with all the medical pills to help. But being on medication for a long period of time, medication stops working or the body does. Which lead me here. After shopping around I’ve found Alternaleaf to be cheaper all round with discounts on some items as specials to let us try newer or stronger brands which is great specially as these can be out of my budget. Been happy from day one. 10 out of 10 in every aspect thank for everything

I was a little nervouse about thaking this first step I must admit, but the consultent was helpful and put me at ease. I am not very good at navigating technology, but she was patient with me and talked me through it all. Im now looking forward to my next appointment on Thursday to talk to the Dr about prescribing me the medecine.

They were brilliant at the start, untill they had taken over £500of my money on the first month. All the flower was mouldy or dead. Took a week to acknowledge their mistakes, it's been nearly 3 weeks now, still no replacement medication after being told it's a emergency push through. Been told I just have to wait, my clinician usually takes a while, my clinician never does anything before the afternoon. Apparently they only write scrips on week days but some how I had one written on Sunday while the other part was apparently written on Friday... Will be charged 2 delivery fees , no acceptance of fault if anything I've been told I'm impatient because I need the medication I have been prescribed and paid for. It has caused me no end of stress trying to get this sorted. Some of the customer service team are very rude, use antagonising tactics to hang up the phone. I would not recommend anybody use this service, would even go as far to say they shouldn't be allowed to trade under a medical licence

Started with a nurse review online which resulted in stating that all was fine and the nurse set up an appointment to speak to someone who would then provide me with a prescription. The appointment was some weeks away but she said that she could bring it forward if I provided the necessary documents. I uploaded details of my diagnosis and two alternatives of treatment already tried. It seemed that because my diagnosis and prescription was over 3 months old that they needed more recent proof. Given that I only get my current prescription every 6 months because it is a drug I would rather not take and only take in emergencies, I asked my GP surgery to provide a letter giving a full breakdown confirming my current condition and the treatments prescribed, all that meet Alternaleaf’s requirements to proceed.
I also gave them full authority to deal with my GP surgery directly. I really couldn’t have done any more but still, after leading me to believe that all would be straightforward, and me jumping through hoops to get them everything they need, they have have let me down. If anyone has a condition that they need help with, I would suggest that you try other providers first.
l’m kind of used to poor service these days but when you’re dealing with health issues people need to be held to a higher standard. Ebony on the help desk either needs additional training or the company’s training needs rewriting. It would be hard to be more disappointed in this company.
I told them I was cancelling and would like funds returned that had been taken so far. What would you know, they don’t provide refunds in these circumstances. It wasn’t about the money - it was £5 - it’s the principle and in my opinion they have none!
UPDATE:
John Hall (I think his name is) got back to me with an appointment out of the blue. He was unaware of my problem and that I had cancelled my account but was offering me a brought forward appointment and said that all my checks had now been done and all was good.
I'm not getting over confident that all is sorted so will reserve my judgement/change in rating until after my appointment but he was very helpful and I'm hoping for a decent outcome. I will update accordingly after the event!

Unfortunately this appointment felt rushed and I felt pressured to speedily order.
Sad really as previous appointment for the last year have been fab!!
He had little knowledge (or couldn't be bothered to help) was put out and visibly annoyed I wanted a strain that wasn't in stock, pressured to pick one, without any help or advice to fit in with what I can afford. Now moving onto 6 monthly appointments so it had better be a one off or I'll definitely be changing.
