Can't complain about this company. Amazing stuff, from my 1st consultation to taken delivery at home for the medication took less than two weeks. Very happy customer, thank you so much. Dean

If I could leave 0 stars I would. BAD FROM THE START
They initially advertised free consultation which compared to all competitors is very persuasive as all others offer pay now refund later scheme. This got me in. And they were very keen to hear from me, 2 weeks after first creating patient portal they had me in for my first consultation. The woman, very very understanding of my mental health illnesses and was very kind patient and explaining every thing I didn’t understand. This is where it all goes wrong.
I am poor. Not rich my any means. I liked the £5 a month subscription as it meant I could pay little and go a. Long way. Not even a day after paying the first month and I’m getting charged the initial consultation fee of £29.00. Don’t have the money so it bounces. 1+1 =2, why did you charge me for 3 when I didnt select this model.
I brush it off as a mistake. 4 weeks till my psychiatrist appointment at this point. A week passes and it’s attempted to take payment again. Usually these thjngs come in pairs. I didn’t think anything of it again, as I clearly didn’t have the money and it bounced.
Another week passes, 2 weeks left till appointment and a third attempt was made. At this point im telling them if u try it again im gonna leave and go to another clinic, I paid for a monthly bill and nothing else has even happened yet. only then was they concerned emough to raise jt to the payment team and stop it for good.
I then get a message to say my patient summary has a discrepancy. Meedications since 2025, no ailment. Asks for full medical details. Before that could even arrive, my new patient summary included the ailment, from 17 April 2026. Agaib another discrepancy as I’ve been in medication for said ailment for way longer. They gloss over this and promise to push my appointment forward. But they wasn’t concerned enough to actually do so and left me ignored till my appointment came up anyway.
Now it’s a week away from my psychiatrist appointment, and Im not gonna lie they clung onto the fact that I said I have times where I feel like I want to harm myself. Because they call me up with a doctor who’s name I can’t pronounce telling me thay they will listen to my phone callls and judge if I had harmed or not - BECAUSE MY WORDS OF “IT WAS HYPOTHETICAL AND I DIDNT ACTUALLY DO IT” wasn’t enough. I assured them I hadn’t done it and if they could consider moving my appointment forward to help me medicate differently if appreciate it. She replied with I will listen back and call you, and Suprise! I Hear back with Nothing.
Now it’s second appointment day, supposed to decide whether I could have my prescription todsy. Annd the last time I checked, im sure I was a human anf not a robot, but beecause someone with mental health issues struggled to get into the phone call before 1:00, and baring in mind the appointment lasts 15 minutes, when I’m knocking on the door of the video call multiples times 3-5 minutes after the appointment should have started, it was the psychiatrist who thought her legal lunch break times weren’t emough anf she didn’t want to take my call with 10 minutes to spare, instead felt the need to get paid for doing NOTHING. Now I know it’s acceptable to have a meeting in ten minutes, because the last review made on 1 star states their same psychiatrist appointment ONLY TOOK THE SAME TEN MINUTES I LEFT ON THE TABLE FOR THIS APPOINTMENT it’s sad to be hit with the reality and confirmation thay im just a number and a customer, im not someone who’s health they take serously, because to assure me a call back on text based customer service helpline, and still not uphold thatt customer, you can shove the whole thing where the sun don’t shine.
Ill be better off buying on the streets, because by the time im a patient, I’d have already been imprisoned for having to rely on other sources to help my mental health stay afloat.
Phone lines non existent, staff lie on text chat, and no one ever cares emough to actually call you back - they will just point ay yku say you self harmed and you have to pay for 3 more months of subscription before your even considered. What a money grab. People have actual illnesses they need assistance with, and for a private insitituation you would expect at least tbe bare minimum - the calll back you was promised! Don’t even begin to type back with a macro stating you don’t have a phone line. The numbers 01283244025
THEY NEVER ANSWER BETWEEN THEIR OPENING HOURS OF 9-5 MONDAY TO FRIDAY -> BUT THEY WILL CALL YOU ONCE EVERY OTHER WEEK AT 8:30AM AND SAY THEY TRIED TO CONTACT YOU
YOU MEAN YOU AVOIDED ME FOR SO LONG AND CALLED AT SUCH AN UNSOCIABLE HOUR EVEN YOUR MOTHER WOULDNT PICK UP THE PHONE TO U.
I don’t have the amount of characters left to describe how bad alternleaf are. If you are an accepted after reading this chat, you should buy a lottery ticket! With odds like that your guaranteed to win!

The service is great and the staff are lovely, however, contacting the customer service line is a serious downfall.
I often have to call to amend my appointment, and find myself sitting by the phone for lengthy periods. The live chat function appears to have the same function, when I’ve connected.
Otherwise, great service but this is a real let down. I had time to write this message as I’ve currently been on hold for 20 minutes, and the 5pm closure time looms.

Ok, so I have Ms, ra, audhd and C-Ptsd.
(I cant take medication as I'm allergic to most of it) I can honestly tell you switching from the street stuff was the best thing I ever did. Cost effective, lasts longer and the strains actually help. It's been 6 months and I feel I might even be able to go back to work!!
The pharmacists and docs are super nice and always willing to help you choose the right thing for you. If your thinking about it , don't think, go go go.

Really poor service from the very start. It was a shame to experience this, as the reviews seemed good and that is why I chose this company.
My initial consultation was in February with a “pharmacist” who appeared to be using a green screen during the video call, which felt very unprofessional. Then, over a month later, I had my consultation with the psychiatrist. It felt rushed, lasted around 10 minutes, and while he was understandably focused on cannabis treatment, there seemed to be little interest in my wider story or existing diagnoses.
He selected two strains for my first prescription and said I would hear back by early the following week. After chasing multiple times and receiving no clear communication, I was then told today that I had been rejected and discharged as a patient. Given the timing, this seemed to happen shortly after I had left a Google review a few days earlier.
I contacted Releaf during the week and the initial contact with them has been much better so far.
Unfortunately, based on my experience with customer service and professionalism, I would not recommend Alternaleaf.

I’ve had nothing but problem after problem with alternaleaf. Everyone seems very helpful but nothing ever gets sorted. Upon signing up I paid for 3 monthly subscriptions whilst waiting to be approved. I had continuous emails back and forth, trying to show my proof of 3 medications and the response was ridiculous. I would send them over and receive a response from the clinician days later stating only one medication from my GP had been supplied; even after providing 4 or 5. I would respond, attaching them again and stating how many there should be and to please let me know if they’re not received. I inserted as screenshots, pdf files, anything they said would be acceptable. I would simply receive further responses from the clinician stating that I hadnt supplied any further medication. They kept sending over to the clinician without attaching the information? When they finally received my medical information, weeks later, of which they state 3 medications is enough - they asked for more. I had to go to my GP and print off a lot of information, which I’m sure you can understand, they made as difficult as possible. Not fun. Again, this wasn’t enough, and I had to go to my GP for more. I kept paying for the subscription all throughout, over 3 or 4 months, and it was very frustrating.
My medication is never in stock so I always have to order something more expensive or with a really weak strength. One problem i’ve been having recently is my first quarterly review. Upon receiving the email that this was due, I booked for the first date that I was available for. A couple days later I come to order my repeat prescription only to find it’s “too early”. As it’s been 30 days since my last prescription (the renewal is 18 days) I came to the conclusion that you can’t order a prescription until your review, which is understandable, but I was not made aware of. With this, it has been over 40 days since my medication has been made available to me. I reached out to customer service to try and resolve this and was told they rebooked my appointment for a couple days earlier. In the appointment everything went well, the pain consultant offered to order my prescription for me but everything was out of stock as usual, so I asked to look myself. However, upon looking to see if I can now order my medication after over 40 days of no access, it is still stating too early. My “rebooked” appointment was just a random follow up appointment, my quarterly review is still booked for the future and I took time from work for a random appointment with no gain. I will have to take further time for this actual review appointment. Nothing is explained, everything just keeps popping up with problem after problem. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t think i’ll be staying much longer.

Had to wait a long time without medication because I had to wait for a quarterly meeting if I didn't contact them I'd still be waiting for a meeting since having said meeting in which I couldn't bearly hear I explained that I've been without medication a couple of weeks and they didnt mark my case as urgent and am still waiting my mood at this point is pretty bad

The product is great, but customer service and internal organisation are terrible. I was without medication for several days before I ditched them for a competitor.

When I was first told about Alternaleaf I was very sceptical.
6 months after becoming a patient my life has changed, and for the better. I switched from a water pipe and started using a dry herb vape, my breathing and energy levels have significantly increased, the flower is of the best quality and most of the medication is cheaper than elsewhere.
Meds always arrive by Royal Mail the next day, simply an amazing quality service.
Highly recommended !!!
