Awful delivery service
I ordered online thinking my order would arrive within 4 business days, it wasn’t clear the order would take 2 weeks to arrive in VIC.
The courier left a notice in my mailbox - but did not knock on the door, I work from home and would have heard. I now have to drive 30 minutes to the courier depot to collect my parcel.
I would not recommend delivery from this company!

Our current delivery system involves a mix of Couriers Please, Aramex Couriers, and Australia Post. The selection is automated through Shippit, a third-party shipping program, based on what it deems the most 'efficient' route. Unfortunately, this process doesn't account for the performance of the local driver or contractor in your area.
If you've had a less-than-ideal experience and would like to opt for Australia Post specifically, you have the option to make this choice during the checkout process.
Looking forward to making sure your delivery reaches you smoothly!

Good replacement for broken Presso portafilter
This was the second replacement portafilter for our Presso hand press in over 10 years of daily use. The portafilter handle and carrier structure seems robust and well made. Yet to see if the handle will go loose, but that is always fixable with a bit of glue. The super crema filter itself doesn't quite come up to the marketing hype but is a smidgen better the normal filter either used in this closed portafilter or in the naked portafilter. A benefit of buying the portafilter with the super crema as a replacement unit is that you can continue to use the old filter units if you want from time to time. Excellent service and delivery time to us in regional NSW, and an easy to use online shop interface, mean we will be back shopping with alternativebrewing.com.au next time we need replacement bits, or a new accessory item.

Best Science Coffee Machine
I bought the Tiamo Cold Dripper Wood set-up for my husband Sebastian and it is the best coffee science machine. Setup was fairly intuitive, even without instructions, just matched the picture on the box. And doing a quick YouTube search we found a video from Alternative Brewing on the ratios for the coffee beans and water.
I did order the frame in brown and got black, but luckily he's not fussed on what the colour is anyway.
He really hates drinking the instant coffee at work now, this cold brew is the best.
We literally watched it for minutes when we first set it up

the only coffee place i use
since i started getting really into coffee and coffee making gear i almost strictly buy all my coffee gear from these guys, The service they provide is top notch, If you have any problems they are always happy to help and find things out for you.
thing also get packed and shipped fast it usually gets sent out the same day its ordered.
AB is my go to store and have felt no need to look elsewhere.
