Not worth it...
In all honesty they have been no help in helping me find suitable business funding.
I have ended up with a short term fix that the interest alone is likely to put me business under extreme pressure and myself. The likelihood we won’t survive.
The whole process is a complete waste of time

We can't always find funding for businesses, especially where they are early stage and so it is disappointing to hear that although you were actually successful, you feel the funding wasn't appropriate for you. There are definitely some occasions where the best course of action is to turn down an offer of funding, especially if you feel that this might put your business and yourself under unnecessary pressure. I know that our team would be more than happy to discuss this with you. Our role is to give business owners visibility into the options they may have. For many businesses unable to find support from their High St bank, this is a welcome service and can introduce choice into what has been for many years, a very limited marketplace. However it is true that sometimes these choices are limited by the circumstances of the business and/or the owner and therefore may be restricted to only a few opportunities. Again, if you'd like to discuss this with our team I know they would be happy to assist if possible. Thanks again for your candour.

Fantastically easy to use
Fantastically easy to use. Great info throughout seeing how many funders you could possibly talk to as you fill in the forms. We had funding with in a couple of days after usual banks had said no! Thank you ABF!! You've made a huge difference to our business.

It is important to note that funders do require some basic reassurance that any monies that they lend into a business will be repaid. While many of the lenders on our panel have considerably greater flexibility than traditional banks, they still have to operate in a commercial context. This can be by adjusting their terms and rates according to the profile of the business and the individual. We will continue to review your applications, and if we can find another way to approach this we will. As you can see from the many positive reviews we receive we are extremely proud of our reputation for helping small businesses receive funding where possible, and we regret not being able to help you at this time.

Quick and painless loan with lots of help...
Our company is moving offices but hadn't planned for the level of expenditure that we would incur.
Never having had a loan before and no credit score as such made getting one from our company bank a long and painful task with more hoops to jump through than I can imagine and we were eventually rejected on the basis of the background of one of our share holders.
We then turned to the John and the team at ABF who were friendly and helpful. They made the process very painless and handheld when was needed.
I didn't have to chase them up about anything as they were on it, when John was away Tamara automatically picked things up to make sure the process kept flowing.
Any questions I had were answered quickly and if I needed further clarification on anything they were happy to do that without issue.
The loan went through and the day I signed the contract the money was transferred into our account.
We couldn't be happier.
