Great service from Amazing Peru, we were collected, picked up, transferred from airports, hotels, rail stations, bus stations and guided around all our destinations. Great service and peace of mind.

I had an amazing experience with Amazing Peru. I designed a personalized trip with the company in three countries with six flights covering a large range of South America. All transfers, pickups, connections, tour guides were seamless and punctual.

I know I won't be able recall at this one point all the "amazing" experiences and sights we enjoyed on the combination of tours you so expertly organized and executed for us. We could not have asked for a better 16 days, and are extremely glad we chose your company.

All the guides - Liz, the two Javiers, Galápagos naturalist and Captain Alejandro, Nilo, and Chantal - were totally competent, professional and accommodating. Their English was very good, if not somewhat difficult to interpret through heavy accenting. But all connections and contacts ran smoothly, especially across the many locations and countries. We also appreciated the small, in most cases private, tour groups providing us much individual attention.

Once I realized that most documentation and communication/questions you handle through Whatsapp, everything needed was available to us on a timely basis.

The cash required for certain tips, admissions, and other personal expenditures could have been broken out and explained better in some cases, but we were able to access ATMs when necessary.

Accommodations were pleasant and comfortable. I would only suggest a hotel in Santiago closer to the airport, since we were just there for short periods.

Many thanks for arranging such a successful and memorable trip for what was most likely a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience for us.

Our 5 day experience was very special - from the pick up at the port in Santiago to the drop off at Lima airport was very arranged / we made a couple of changes last minute and Jim turner was able to reorganize things for us - Machu Picchu is a very special experience / not to be missed

Great experience. Amazing Peru did all the coordination of travel inside Peru and internationally. The guides Amazing Peru arranged spoke excellent English and were officially licensed with government IDs. As an older couple it was great to have the drivers/guides come into our hotels to meet us. We had two drivers do not show up, when we Whatsapped Amazing Peru a driver was there in 10 minutes. If you want a custom Itinerary at a great price, I highly recommend Amazing Peru.

I have a great visit to Machu Picchu with AmazingPeru in such a short time notice. They are so professional & arranging everything without delay. Pick us up from Pisco Peru cruises terminal & drove us to Lima to catch our flight. Next morning JP who is so knowledgeable & caring brings us to Machu Picchu. The whole team David, Edward & JP are wonderful people. They help us to fulfill one of my bucket lists, visiting Machu Picchu.

We had to reschedule twice for our April trip to Peru: Cusco, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca. Amazing Peru was most accommodating and helpful. Our April 2024 trip was beyond our expectations. Great hotel choices, very knowledgeable guides that spoke good English and very safe drivers that were most punctual. We learned so much about the Incan and pre Incan culture. We would most definitely do another trip with Amazing Peru.

We had a fantastic time on our trip to Peru. The itinerary was excellent and all of the drivers and guides were on time, reliable, professional and friendly. The hotels were of a high standard and transportation well planned. One key thing that we appreciated above all else was their communication. From the initial communications in planning the tour, information in advance of departure and the regular check ins while we were travelling. This gave us piece of mind and confidence that we could reach out if there was ever a problem.

We had an amazing 14 day fully guided accessible tour organised by Amazing Peru. At each location we were met with knowledgeable guides, and the guide and wheelchair helper, Jimmy and Joaquin, were both great and very supportive of my youngest son who is a wheelchair user - it would not have been possible to do everything we did without their support and by the end of the week they were like part of the family. Our trip included all the usual sights based from Lima to Cusco but they also accompanied us to Puno (Lake Titicaca) and Arequipa and finally ICA. I would highly recommend David from Amazing Peru who did a great job in organising the trip and making sure any concerns were met and everything worked perfectly.

Amazing Peru did an outstanding job at planning our trip to Chile and Argentina. Our trip was tailor made to our needs, had 5 flights, 9 ferries or sightseeing cruises, 18 hotel nights in 5 cities, 15 bus rides, 4 private excusions, 2 wine tastings, thus quite complex and Amazing Peru executed everything flawlessly. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

My two daughters and I just returned from Amazing Peru Family Tour and it was wonderful. All our guides were knowledgeable and accommodating, since I use a cane. They arrived on time each day and usually stayed after the allotted time. Our accommodations were always handy for whatever activity we were going to participate in . Jim Turner had everything well planned and was available if we had any questions before, during or after the trip. We received a daily detailed itinerary.

I just returned from the Accessible Galapagos Tour with Amazing Peru. Jim Turner did a great job planning an itinerary that was suitable for myself, my 84 year old mother, and my 17 year old son. Our guide, Liam, was amazing with the wheelchair and he was very reliable. He was there when he said he would be there and he communicated the plans well so we always knew what was coming up the next. He was just encouraging enough for my mom to try things she was reluctant about without being pushy. He was very knowledgeable about the islands and shared a lot of information. He took us to very good restaurants and was accommodating to our preferences. On the last day when we were supposed to go kayaking again, we were all tired so he worked with the company to change the plans and took us to the Interpretive Center instead. This was a much better option for us and we enjoyed it. The two hotels were very nice, our hosts were friendly, and the breakfasts were very good. Even with the wide range of ages and physical abilities, everyone had a great time.

Jim Turner was amazing. Everything that he promised, was delivered. Great communication before and during the trip. All tour guides were professional, always on time and very accommodating. I would highly recommend Jim Turner for any future trips.

We had a well organised tour which fulfilled our requirements. AP listened to what we wanted and designed our trip with our wants at the forefront. The company was easy to contact, always with prompt response.

My wife and I just came back from an 8 day tour of Lima, Cuzco and Machu Pichu in May 2017. My wife is disabled and used a wheelchair for her mobility. We are both 76 years young. The private tour was put together and organised in detail by Jim Turner from Amazing Peru and we could not fault any aspect of it. It was superbly organised and from the moment we arrived in Lima, we were met and escorted by staff of Amazing Peru Travel (Christian Portuguez and Giancarlo). At every place, we were met and escorted by very friendly, considerate, helpful and enthusiastic staff (in Cusco and the Sacred Valley: Andy Salazar and Jose; at Machu Pichu: Jose and 2 other staff). We were impressed with the relaxed, kind and friendly attitude of the Peruvian people in general.
We were booked on the Hiram Bingham train to and from Cusco to Aquas Cilente (the only suitable train for wheelchairs where assistance for boarding is available) and from there by bus to the citadel. The Hiram Bingham train journey was marvelous and we were well looked after (drinks, entertainment, talks, lunch and dinner) during the 3 hour journey each way.
A knowledgeable guide and 2 other staff met us at the train in Aquas Cilente, and assisted my wife and carried her up and down the steps at Machu Pichu and we were able to see most of the citadel (see pictures attached). My wife commented ‘that not in her wildest dream did she expect to be able to wander through Machu Pichu.’ She would be content to stay at one place and soak up the ambience and sight of Machu Pichu, but the guides insisted to her ‘Madame, you came such a long way from Australia, we must try and get you to see as much as possible of the citadel’ Many thanks to Jim Turner and his wonderful staff for organising such a marvellous tour for us and we have no reservations in recommending Amazing Peru to friends and family.
We were booked in 5 star hotels with breakfast and in Cusco, and the rooms in the Marriott had oxygen and are pressurised to assist with overcoming altitude sickness which we experienced on the first day. Coca tea is available all day in the foyer.
