I found the Indian suites by Ambala a little bit old feel like they weren't so fresh bit hard the delivery was perfect everything was good except the quality of the sweets

Great online service - simple and easy to use. Have ordered several times. Mithai received was excellent. Choice of delivery dates. Delivered on time. Recommend

Great service as always. However, I do think that Ambala should look to provide free gifts with large orders. It would be a great way to reward loyalty.

Great products, nicely packaged and fast delivery

Ordered online Mix Mithai so should be bit of almost all items but delivered ones contained only 7 dry and rest of all were wet ones like Gulab Jaman, Rasgullas etc.
So all dry items were soaking as well. Its quite embarrassing when you send this kind of on some very occasions.

This years things changed and selection is little more confusing. Order tracking maching and emailing looks odd too.

Good website to use , good price , delivery date I wanted arrived on time and well packaged. Some of the order was for myself and the rest was for friend for Eid gifts and friend could not be happier!

I bought 3 tins online from Ambala for Eid. I always buy online and all I can say is the sweets are fresh when they arrived. In a sealed box to keep the freshness. Beautiful tins and quick delivery. Highly recommend!!

Was disappointed in Ambalas delivery process. Despite paying £10 for named day delivery service, DHL failed to deliver on set day, instead delaying the sweets all weekend and delivering 3 days later! Messaged Ambala concerning this and they failed to respond. Please don’t take so much for delivery cost if you can’t promise to deliver on that date.

Delivered within specified time.
Delivery cost is quite high unless ordering a lot to make it worthwhile.

The taste has definitely gone downhill which is a real shame as we always bought our mathi from here. We’ve now realised it’s been sold to another company, which could explain it. The ladoo in particular are not as nice as they used to be and there is an unpleasant after taste.

I ordered two condiments and they were not delivered, it says that I will receive a refund but I used a voucher, hence not very happy.

Sent me the wrong boxes to what was ordered and was gifts for people so not happy

Packaging was very good and hygienic. The sweet no way near to traditional taste.. dry gulag jamum and chum chum. These are basic sweets. First order bc busy working and had no time to get from glasgow shop, might not order again.

Ordered 3 boxes or 1kg for friends on eid. All of them said, it was several days old and hard and didn't taste good at all. I paid for n3xt day delivery. Never again. Asked for a refund, they wanted proof. So want me to go friends and take it back which they threw obviously

I made an order on a Wednesday morning and paid the extra money for a delivery before 12pm the next day. I didn't think much much more of the order till the next money. I noticed on the dpd delivery site that the delivery would be made on Friday instead. This is an office, where we had a lunch event on Thursday - I did not expect Ambala along with dpd to trick a customer to pay more for delivery and not honour this. On Thursday morning I called the head office number, to request the order to be cancelled and a refund to be issued. In the meantime I made alternative arrangements for our work lunch on Thursday.
By Thursday late afternoon. I had received no update on the original order. I called and asked what is happening with this order. My details were taken again and the line cut. I tried calling back and the number does not connect now.
I asked a colleague to try the number on Friday, once I was informed by dpd that the delivery was still going ahead. Our offices are normally empty on Mondays and Fridays. So without taking into my account my calls and requests to cancel. Ambala don't care. My colleague also informed me that he can get through on this number - so Ambala has somehow blocked my number.

This has been a shocking experience. I will never again order from the Ambala website. I will suggest to others not to use the website and if you really need something from their stores, go yourself or try one of their competitors.

I have also noticed my bank..this is fraud and Ambala has mislead their customer. Horrible experience

Very easy buying on line, What I would suggest to have more variety, to build your own selection like the shops
