Awful customer service
Awful customer service. My friends clubbed together to purchase a bracelet for my birthday, it looks beautiful and as advertised. However, the first time I wore it, the clasp was very fragile and broke.
The bracelet was £125 in the sale, it stated 2 years warranty. My friends purchased on 8th July for my birthday on 20th July, I reported the break at the beginning of August. They state the break is wear and tear, that I need to pay additional £30 to have it repaired, even though I confirmed i had only worn once.
Apparently, if you take it out of the box, remove the tag to actually wear the bracelet, it invalidated the warranty. I would question the validity of a heavy inset bracelet (looks like crystal) that has such a lightweight clasp.
My eventual response from Amber Jones, was we will not respond again! They offered repair at £30!, why when I have worn once, this should be covered by the 2 year guarantee. I genuinely went for a meal with my husband, leaving the restaurant, the bracelet fell off my wrist. That's not wear and tear, that is a fault on the fastening?
If you value a gift for a loved one, please do not buy from this company. Their customer service is lacking, and your money is wasted. I would have appreciated a customer service phone call, discussion etc. But there is no phone service, just an online response saying we will not communicate with you further.
Be careful where you spend your money. I am going to look at trading standards and hopefully you don't have the same issues with gifts.
