We've worked with Tim for a number of years enjoying a positive and constructive working relationship throughout. His images are second to none and he approaches any collaboration in a professional and friendly manner, making working with him is a pleasure.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Tim on five photoshoots so far, and every experience has been fantastic. He’s an absolute pleasure to work with and has an incredible ability to fully understand the briefs I give him, often delivering final results that exceed what I had imagined.

We work extremely well as a team, and through collaborating so closely, we’ve also built a strong friendship, which makes the creative process even more enjoyable. Many of our shoots have involved multiple people, and Tim is exceptional at putting everyone at ease. Before each shoot, he takes the time to get to know the people involved so they feel comfortable and confident working with him.

His communication is excellent, he explains posing clearly and patiently, and I’ve received numerous compliments from others on how easy and enjoyable he is to work with. The photos I’ve received have been consistently amazing, and I genuinely look forward to working with Tim on many more projects in the future.

From the moment we asked Tim if he'd help us evolve our photography style, it immediately felt like a creative partnership.
I'd seen his work with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and was struck by his real, unstaged style. He took time to understand us and what we want to achieve. So far, we've worked together on two very different shoots. One a documentary roadside enforcement operation with police officers where he handled the complex live environment with ease – in the middle of Storm Claudia! The other a real life case study, which he handled with sensitivity. In both, Tim built quick rapport with everyone involved and blended into the environment. And it shows in the incredible results – natural and powerful storytelling.
I can't recommend Tim highly enough for authentic, story‑led photography and for absolutely nailing it every time!

I had the privilege of working closely with Tim for three days as his assistant on a Först woodchippers photoshoot, and it was an incredible experience. Having worked with other photographers both in front of and behind the camera, I can honestly say his shooting style, angles and technique are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Tim is a true master of lighting, with a unique ability to capture images that perfectly align with Först's established style while still feeling fresh and timeless. Watching him set up and execute each scene was inspiring, and his attention to detail is second to none. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ambient Life to anyone looking for photography at the highest level.

Working with Tim has been an absolute joy. He is incredibly creative and communicates exceptionally well with others. He has a keen eye for interesting shot angles and consistently provides more material than requested. In addition to fast delivery, he has done an excellent job editing the images to correct imperfections and enhance the color palette.

We recently worked with Tim to capture images of Liniar's Denby HQ for upcoming corporate promo materials after being extremely satisfied with his previous work for sister company Avantek Machinery. He was very professional, easy to work with, and able to take control of the setting and give direction to team members where needed. The turnaround for sending over the edited shots he'd captured was very fast and the results were stunning! We already plan to use Tim for more work in the future and would definitely recommend him.

We had a great experience working with AmbientLife for our latest photoshoot. The ideas and expertise Tim had in coordinating each shot to make our ideas come to life were so helpful, and his skills in editing are invaluable. A great day on shoot with Tim. We have worked with Tim for several years now and have a very set style for our images. I was aware of Tims' photography and it felt like the perfect style for an upcoming project. From our initial correspondence via email and Teams calls, through to the photoshoot day, he was very accommodating, enthusiastic and more than happy to share his wealth of knowledge in order to get the best photo's for our client.

I've worked with Tim several times over recent years. He is one of the most professional, easy to work with photographers who genuinely cares about your business.

Since working alongside Tim (on some quite large projects), we've had outstanding end results and have achieved significant amounts of photo assets on tight time scales with complicated logistics; this is down to Tims's extensive experience that allows projects to just flow, working on initiative to not only achieve your brief but to far exceed it.

After a recent lengthy project (10 days work), we smashed it out of the park and had an entirely new face to our business, plus plenty of future assets we could use. This wouldn't have been achieved with any other photographer, and I can't thank AmbientLife / Tim enough for the efforts put in, as this wasn't an easy project. Also, without asking, Tim worked extra hours and navigated family arrangements to get all the work over in record time with a range of additional high-quality edits that were over and above our original quote.
