Ambrogio does not honor its price match guarantee. In this case, the price difference was over $80.00. Sunny came up with every excuse in the book, including claiming C&E Shoes did not have my actual size in stock - although it was to restocked in a few days. (That's the nature of merchandize sales.

I thought about this and perhaps I was too harsh. This was a request for price matching after my purchase. I think the proper manner is to present the lower price and request Ambrogio to match. Indeed, they did this for me very recently. So I'm changing the rating from 1 to 5. (Besides, I really like their shoes!)

I have had a lot of dress shoes over the year and these are the worste I have ever bought. I thought that by taking a lot time to get that the quality would be good. What I got was the opposite. The tassles ripped off the first time I wore them. When I sent in an email asking for them to repair they said that I would have to pay and take them to my own shoe person to fix, which I did. However within a month the stitching on the entire shoe fell apart. It is clear that these were so terribly made with cheap materials. Not worth $20 let alone $300. This is my first review that I have ever done but hoping that it helps the next person that is looming to buy from this company.

I don't necessarily think they're scammers or a fraudulent company, but they definitely have poor business practices. I ordered a pair of shoes for $499, and they sent the wrong color. They initially agreed to send a replacement right away with a tracking #, but then they completely stopped responding....

Avoid these scammers and fraudulent company at all cost. I spent over $430AUD on custom wedding shoes. Quality was so poor the upper section wasn’t even straight. Looked like they weren’t worth more than $50. Ones in pictures shown are not what you recieve. Clearly the standard is also not checked before being sent. 5 months later, 50+ emails. Still no replacement pair or refund. Expected me to post them back at cost to me. Could have easily resolved with shipping a replacement pair immediately and providing a returns label taking two weeks max. Have to now buy more wedding shoes with not even the partial refund given. You also get a response email that they’ll respond within 1-2 business days. Sometimes I waited well over a week for this. They have infuriated me with every interaction and continue to provoke with no outcome in favour of the buying customer. Owners should be ashamed of service given! Embarrassment of a company.

I took a chance on this company with a first time purchase of a "made to order"pair of custom sneakers. I am thoroughly satisfied with the service and quality of the product. It took 40 days to receive and Ambrogio was very clear that "made to order" items could take 30-45 days to receive. The product was well worth the wait. I highly recommend Ambrogio.
