I and two other retired carpenters assembled the gazebo for my friend, Bob Tramburg. We have all been job superintendents for the last twenty plus years, and know what it takes to get the finished product demanded by the customer. We understand how difficult it would be to prebuild a building such as this, however we were asked a couple of years ago to assemble a gazebo kit for a local church. It was built be Vixen Hill. It wasn't screwed together, it was bolted together with brass bolts making the mitered pieces come together better. It is my guess, that it was assembled at the factory then disassembled for shipping. Having this gazebo pre-painted was probably a mistake as the plastic wrapping stuck to the parts, leaving wrinkle marks in the final finish. In the spring, we will have to caulk the open miters and repaint a good share of the exposed pieces. Once the caulking and painting is done, I think the gazebo will look outstanding and seems to be very solidly built.

I purchased a Pergola kit for my outdoor bar area with the oprional shade system and I was expecting a difficult installation. First, the delivery was efficient and came in 6 weeks as was quoted. The delivery truck could only drop the unit off in my driveway since it came on a very long custom pallet. Once we got the pieces moved to the backyard we were able to set up up without any issues in less than a day and it looks fantastic. High quality, well designed and looks really good. We have received many compliments on how much it changed the look of the backyard. I would recommend Amish Country Gazebos to anyone.

My gazebo is a the standout feature in the garden. All my neighbors admire it. I have the wood gazebo stained in a natural color and it makes my garden glow at sunset and brightens all of the other aspects of the garden all the time.

A dream come true for our new country home. A Gazebo! Not just any, but an Amish made one with all the expert craftsmanship and service that only the Amish know how to do. The Lifetime Warranty is a huge benefit added to our product. From designing our Gazebo online, to working with the salesman over the phone, to the professional trucker who delivered our product, and to the contractor who drove over 200 miles to put it together for us. It is beautiful, sturdy, and roomy. We have already enjoyed it so many times and is our special place to watch the sun set.

There was no warning that the side rails were 65" wide while the front and back rails were 66". After setting the posts and attaching the cornices, I started on the rails. When I got to the last section, I was trying to install 66" rails where it needed 65" rails. needless to say there was no way to force them in. It took awhile before I decided to measure the openings between the template that I realized there was a difference. I then had to remove several rails and cornices that were were installed in the wrong place. Other than that, I am very happy with the finished product. I also want to add that the delivery man was very helpful in setting the package where I would have the least problem opening it and moving around the different components.

the joints on my vinyl gazebo were very tight and hard to assemble, it took a lot longer than a half a day to assemble, more like two full days of work including the roof.

The Gazebo is very beautiful in the backyard of my Personal Care Home. It was easy to put up. The screws were difficult to use but we got it done. The only problem I had was with the shipper, who had difficulty getting the gazebo to me. It took almost a week to get it delivered with multiple calls and frustrations. They had difficulty allocating a smaller truck to deliver the Gazebo and only had one person, the driver, which meant that me and my family hand to assist the drive getting the the gazebo off as the property was on a hill. Not fun.

We couldn't be happier. Seriously!
The purchase of our huge 12x16 pergola was nothing less than smooth! We got a great deal from Julie and Liz at AmishGazebos. They were both very knowledgeable and had all the answers. When we asked about assembly she asked was I did for a living (convention setup) and said I should be able to do it easily. The shipping was fast and the delivery driver was super friendly and informative. The instructions were very well written and actually made sense. Unfortunately the company that was doing the pavers was behind so the 16' long skid had to sit in our garage for a few weeks. It was a snap after that. It took myself (a 57 year old male and two friends approximately 3 hours to get it all up and in place. We spent another hour putting in all the screws on the trusses. I wish there was a way to show you a picture of the completed project. It turned out so much nicer than we expected! Needless to say all our neighbors were asking where we got it. You know we're steering them to you.

After discovering Amish Country Gazebos online, I spent several hours reviewing the product offering, then called customer service to fully understand how they operate and to ask about my specific application for a large pergola. They provided accurate and honest information and specs to allow me to make my decision. Trying to insure I order correctly for my needs, I made several calls over the next few days. I was always treated promptly and with respect and honest dialogue. Ultimately, I placed my order and it arrived exactly in the time frame advised and every piece and part was as promised. It now up and looking great.

I was very excited about my pergola, however the excitement eventually went away due to the slow delivery. It took several more weeks than expected to receive the kit, so now it's sitting in my garage awaiting assembly next spring. I'm hopeful the product will turn out ok, but that remains to be seen. If you order anything make sure to plan ahead ...

Looked at website/brochures, decided on 2 pergolas (10x20 & 12x14 smooth cut "traditional wood"). Went to LA fair to see them - but reps/CEO did not know where the 9 were erected (1st day of fair) so we looked at wood stains, etc. and WAS ERRONEOUSLY corrected that artisan was the smooth cut. We contacted their office, sent PowerPoint slides with layouts, pics to get confirmation of design...their office did not have PowerPoint software so of little design help. Wound up ordering both gazebos artisan (changed from original "traditional"), 8 inch posts, added lattice to roofs. Several months later was delivered Artisan ROUGH CUT. We accepted and paid to have them installed (took 1/2 day..I could have done it in 2 days) - they did a great job. Called office later, they said they would seek to learn from their mistakes but offered no compensation. We spent $11, 548 - the artisan upgrade added ~ $1000. Very polite, but not as design helpful as expected and did not feel accountable for misleading us. Having said that...it does look terrific, great craftsmanship/quality, larger posts are a must as well as the lattice. I would recommend them, but you better know what you are getting - they just deliver what is ordered!

We purchased our 14' X 14' Ramada and the experience was absolutely wonderful from the very beginning. The Ramada arrived exactly with the time period estimated. It went together like a dream and is absolutely a beautiful addition to our new paver patio. The staff was so easy to work with and made us feel confident and comfortable in our purchase. The cost was perfect and met our budget. I only wish they installed in Kentucky. But we have a great craftsman who does any work we need done and he did a beautiful job.

I would certainly recommend Amish Country Gazebos without any hesitation.

I love the way the gazebo looks. I never imagined that this addition would make such a great impression. Everyone who comes over says "wow!" It looks so good you should be hosting parties!

from the opening of the pallet, easy to do with full instructions (but the shingling instructions were a little confusing because we'd never done it before...mananged to grab a relative who had and got him to do it for us). floor assembly took very little time and we did all the section assembly and the "wall raising" went easy! had a light shower just as we finished putting the plywood on and had a little warping of the wood, but not much...shingling will probably even it out with the weight.

In all this was a project we enjoyed...but in our heat down here, and other life events, it took us about a month to finish (2 days to put up, a couple days to stain and seal, then getting crew together to finish the roof.)

This past weekend with the help of a half dozen friends we finally completed assembling our Gazebo. It was actually a fun day!
We are so very happy with this decision! The workmanship and attention to detail of there product is phenomenal. The instructions for the assembly are so clear and direct. All of the material/hardware needed to assemble are included, and the list of the tools needed to complete the build up was precise.
As I said before, everyone and every aspect of this process with Amish Country Gazebo has been nothing but positive, and my wife and I could not be happier for it.

They did a fantastic job of putting the gazebo together. You could see they knew what to do and wanted to do it right the first time. I am a little disappointed that the heater is on back order --- we could really use it now as we had snow flurries this weekend. Everyone just loves it and is looking for a full years use of it in 2015.

Gazebo and Pergola arrived well packaged and weather tight. Quality of the wood reminded me of a piece of fine furniture. Assembly of both units was fully described in the manuals. I assembled what I could myself and got help for the rest. Gazebo deck and rails was finished in about 3 hours. Roof took about 2 hours to place with 3 people. Lifting help is needed for the roof panels. Ridge shingles and cupola took us 4 hours to complete. Gazebo looks great and is very sturdy. Pergola went up in 5 hours. Did the posts and upper frame and came back to do the top section. Very happy with finished product, looks great and will provide many years of great family time outside.

First of all the positive: Great customer service. Friendly and helpful people only a phone call away. The person that delivered the gazebo we bought was also very friendly and helpful. The packaging was careful and 100% protected from the elements and there was no damage or warping whatsoever during the trip. They even include extra paint in case you do chip it while putting it together. The gazebo itself is made of VERY hard wood that was well cut and designed. I love the lifetime guarantee as well. Very beautiful and lovely!! Seriously, A + craftsmanship you would expect from the Amish. We bought the screen and electrical package and everything was perfect with those. Easy to install the screens as well. It turned out beautifully although not perfect because of the reason below.

This is what kept my review from being 5 stars: The instructions told us we needed 3 people to put the roof together. You need at LEAST 4 strong men to do this. I just do not see how it would work otherwise unless you have 3 strong men that have experience building gazebos. If you want to move the roof after it's built into position since it is a floating roof, you will need 8 guys, one on each point. So please get it right the first time. Ours is off center and will remain that way since we didn't have enough help. The other problem with the instructions is it said we need an 8 foot 2 x 4 for the center to hold the pieces up while we built the roof. You need at least a 9 foot board for the 10 foot gazebo. This added an hour onto our time putting heavy roof pieces up and taking them back down because the 8 foot board wasn't tall enough. One more small issue with the instructions is it does not mention you will need a right angle attachment for your drill in order to drill together the floor pieces on a 10 foot gazebo. Mabye these issues are specific to our size gazebo? But please be aware if you buy a 10 foot gazebo of these issues.

We had never ordered any thing of the size without physically seeing it and touching it. My wife saw the pergolas on line and we fell in love with them. When we called to place the order, they made us feel very comfortable. The order was sent to us exactly when promised. Their delivery team was very professional and also they would have installed it, if necessary. To get things started, it definately needs two people. It is now up and complete. The details and workmanship are beautiful and we absolutely love it.
