Honestly Ive had the worst experience…
Honestly Ive had the worst experience with Ancestry DNA, I had a much better one with 23andMe. It went faster and smoother and they communicated more with me.
Between the long wait to receive a kit that didn't have any shipping label (having to wait for the shipping label) then my first sample needing to be redone, then having to wait to get the second kit which had no shipping label as well, then having to get my second kit results delayed for however long. I have been waiting almost a full 5 months (if I don't get my results in a week it will be 5 months)
There is no priority for those who had samples they botched (it wasn't just me whose sample needed replaced, there were others from the same batch who also did) hardly no commutation. I feel if they have botched your test they should at least help the second one to go a bit faster and communicate better.

We'd like to note that kits sent to Sweden will not have pre-printed shipping labels, this is working as designed. During the activation flow you should be asked to print the label and attach to the blank box that came with the kit. The best geniology site. Excellent matching. Site availability could be better, with several outages per day. Companion apps are also very good. Not accepting third party dna test results is disappointIng

Works well, but needs a bit of training first weeks of using Ancestry.

Could not reach Ancestry server. All other sigts I had were not affected. Called Ancestry Memberservice who helped me try to solve the problem, but without succes though. Despite that, Ancestry could detect failure and solve the issue thanks to facts we find out together.
i.e. Do not hesitate call them as it can help several others with same problem.

Overfilled the DNA testkit!
If you overfill the testcontainer with salive (spit) and activate the blue liquid in the lid. The contents can if unlucky freeze, or if very hot summertime it can start bacteria-growth in the sample. Both could be avoided if the testcontainer should be filled up to top, and the lid with blue liquid was big enough to take up liquid expansion by freezing or termal expansion, I believe the kit almost meets these demands. the only thing is to redesign the testcontainer to half the volume.
