Highly satisfied so far
I would definitely recommend them. The communication amount is just right and they're very polite. Always willing to help when I have questions.

The customer representative is always cordial. I am just frustrated that whenever I call in it is always call back in 5-7 days. This process with US Bank is taking longer the usual to get hel with.

Once again I have called to address my garnishment
Once again I have called to address the garnishment of wages while there is settlement and you are making agreed to payments. Sun-trust has received more than $13,000 the agreement as understood it was $15,000. However, the garnishment is based on court order for $23,000. Which one amount am I paying off? The letter I received thru Anchor did not state the number of $625 payments I was to make nor amount of balance I was paying off. Since that information was missing I would NOT sign the agreement letter from Sun-trust’s attorneys. I was promised the negotiator would get the letter revised in mid October 2019. I have made numerous calls in which customer service... where your agents tried to contact the negotiator and waiting on hold only to be told he would call me. And many calls were not been returned. I believe that 3 calls have been returned with promises to contact Sun Trust’s attorneys with follow up to insure that an answer would found.

All the gratitude!
My wife and I have encountered some difficulty in the past getting answers to questions and finding clarity. The agent I spoke with today lifted all the fog and we are both immensely appreciative! He was both knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I regret I do not recall his name, but he took the time to answer each of the many questions I had, and dispelled a lot of confusion and wariness my wife and I had been feeling at this point in our debt repayment program. Thank you again!

I paid off everything
I paid off everything - $ 23,669.76 in just 1 1/2 years for a 4 years program. I am being sued by AMEX for the second time and nobody can fix it. American Express sent me many emails that "I'm missing payments". I thought would be a lot easier work with Anchor but it's been a nightmare . No one knows what's going on. Last Saturday I got 2 letters from Superior Court. My question is: can Anchor Law do something about it?

I still haven’t gotten any response after an account went to summons, then judgement, and still nothing from any attorney. Apparently it hasn’t even had one assigned to it is the same lip service I keep getting from customer service anyway. Thinking that maybe my account is irrelevant to them.

Was unsure about calling creditor
Was unsure about calling creditor and submitting payment after speaking with them when it should go through electronic submission. I may have signed in 2018 but that was a long time ago. She helped me understand and went above to clearly understand
terrible customer service!
I have had nothing but trouble trying to get my credit problems resolved. The negotiation team does not return phone calls and I have been disconnected many times with no one calling me back. I have tried to get this escalated many times to no avail.

Thanks for asking me to write a review
Thanks for asking me to write a review. A few years ago I received a letter in the mail indicating that I could consolidate my unsecured debt. I had accrued the debt as a result of the 2008/2009 financial mess. My interest rates were/are jacked to the legal limit and if I paid down any debt to get ahead of the curve my creditors would cut my ability to borrow - so I was always maxed out and had no breathing room - financially speaking.
I responded to the solicitation.
I did not qualify for a loan - no surprise.
I did qualify for modification - which is not an easy process but what did I have to loose - just the more of the same.
Now a few years into the modification with Anchor Law - I have settled with a few creditors and in a year or so the modification will be over and that will be that.
You will pay a fee for the program - but nothing is free so it is part of the deal.
Anchor Law is a serious company who knows the do's and don'ts of unsecured debt modification.
Good luck to you if your trying to figure out how to get this portion of your financial picture figured out - and Anchor is worth a conversation.

So I'm sure if you are reading this you are in the" program". I was in the "program" . I won't bore anyone with all the details. I stayed in because I wanted to settle my debts, in spite of all the signs it was a bad idea. All the negative reviews I read , all the same things happened, getting sued and Anchor did NOTHING. Continued , as they requested to send in documents my creditors mailed to me. Just a waste of time. You can't get anybody on the phone, but if you do it's the same as talking to a kindergarten child, with all the don't know why that happened and I'm not sure why nobody called you back. YOU WILL DO MORE WORK THAN THEM, from chasing them around to paying debts off out of your own pocket. Best advice I could give is stay away from these places. ESPECIALLY ANCHOR. I would need three pages to describe how bad they are. I hope some of you listen to what I've said here. It's in an effort to help anybody else. Look at what the others are saying. Look at Anchors response. It's exactly the same every time. People need to take these reviews seriously. I will be hiring an attorney to recover my money, as others have stated.

I called about 2 overpayments and an overdraft charge to my account because I was only suppose to have an increase in my payment for two payments, I had called a couple of times and as of yet I have not seen the credit back into my account, or a resolution as to what the end result is. I know part of it is on me as I should call, but I am often busy during the day at work and don't get a chance to call and it's not a phone call I can make at my desk while I work.

Worst Debt Management Company Ever--Do Not Even Deserve the 1 Star
The only reason that I am even giving them 1 star is because there is no lower option. Anchor Law Firm has been a nightmare to deal with from the beginning and they do nothing they promise when you sign on...it is one lie from the beginning and you are never able to speak to anyone who actually knows anything about you accounts. You are supposed to get a monthly update...which we have never gotten...I have asked multiple times and still receive nothing. I have also requested calls from them to discuss the status of my accounts...and no reply. We were not behind on our accounts prior to signing up for the program and were told by Anchor that it was a better alternative to bankruptcy. The only better alternative it was, was for Anchor...they got $10k of our money for doing absolutely nothing. I recommend if you are even considering it...do not...contact your creditors yourself and see what you can negotiate. Anchor did not negotiate anything...they just sat around for 2 years and ignored any of the letters they received and any of the offers...I was even sued by one creditor who had sent a settlement offer for around $900...they ignored it and I ended up not only getting sued...but paying $3K+ which was higher than what I even owe at the time I signed up for the program. We had another account that they negotiated a higher payoff than the letter we received. They literally do absolutely nothing for your accounts...you just pay them the $10K that you could have used to pay off a decent percentage of what you owe to begin with. There was no negotiating or working with our creditors. We would get the letters...send them to Anchor...even though they were supposed to have reached out to all the creditors from the beginning of the program to arrange for correspondences to go directly to them...but nothing was done. We were a couple months into the program and they didn't even have several of the accounts that were supposed to be in the program listed. Getting anyone who has a clue to talk to...or even getting the same answer twice would be amazing...not to mention ever talking to someone who carried through with what they said they were going to do. We asked for all of our accounts to be paid off with the money that is just sitting there...and to get out of the program...this started months ago...and still nothing. My husband has spoken to two different people recently who have supposedly taken care of it "this time" but we shall see. And that is the other thing...why did they negotiate for accounts to be paid over a two year period when there is money just sitting there...I'll tell you why...so they can get interest off your money. They could have negotiated a lower settlement amount by paying the full amount...but instead they make me pay more and let my money just sit there. I have never been more dissatisfied with any other company in my life to the extent I have been with Anchor. If I could scream at the top of my rooftop to never, never, never sign anything with Anchor...no matter what you think your life situation is at that time...DO NOT DO IT. They have you sign an arbitration agreement...and we have considered and are still considering getting an attorney. They literally did absolutely nothing...and I have no doubt there is plenty of data to support that...but yet they were paid over $10K by us to "manage" our debt program. An absolute disgrace of a company. I think we also need to check into which Veterans programs we can notify of they horrible business practices and failure to assist as promised and as paid
