Friendly, helpful and efficient - an estate agent we actually enjoyed dealing with!

I’m not sure we’d have got it over the line without her, especially with the added challenges of Covid 19.

Andrew & Co provides an excellent service and the staff maintained close oversight on all aspects of what could have been a very stressful time in vie of the Covid pandemic lock down which started 4 days after we sold our house. Charlie Wyatt Kept us fully updated on all aspects of the move and was on the ball as soon as it was possible to complete the move. An exceptional service and we would highly recommend the company to others who may need their services

Andrews and co at Cheriton, Kent provided me and my wife with a first class service.
Because of exceptional circumstances we needed to purchase our property fast. And fast was achieved.
Stacey, Natalie and Ian were my point of contact throughout. They provided professional support, recommended a superb solicitor and also councilloring when my stress levels rose.
Stress I would add that was self inflicted because it was about 34 years since I last bought a house and online, email and Internet were not in general use.
The Cheriton three were always contactable by phone and gave me constant updates when I requested, reassured me when I was in doubt and smoothly acted as the intermediary between me and vendor. (This sounds a bit like they were guardian angels, but I digress)
Anyway if the bad press about estate agents is to be believed then this team are exceptions to the rule. They are caring professionals and a credit to the Andrews and co.

I have never left a review for anything ever before, however, the sheer ineptitude of Andrew & Co has compelled me to leave this review here today.

I and my partner have been in agreement with Andrew & Co about moving into an apartment, having provided the initial formal documents, as early as January the 9th. By January 10th, we agreed on a move-in date for the first weekend of February (2nd).

A few days before our move-in date, we were told that we could not move in on the agreed upon date as there was a problem with the apartment, despite Andrew & Co having over half a month to prepare the apartment for our arrival.

Although annoyed at the fact it had not been sorted earlier, and with my partner and I having already told our respective landlords that we will vacate the premises on the first weekend of February, we accepted and were told that we can move in the second weekend of February (9th).

Now, just today, I receive a phone call from Andrew & Co telling me that they are not able to sort the apartment for the already postponed move-in date on the second weekend of February (9th), and instead, they ESTIMATE that It should be ready by the third weekend of February (16th), A WHOLE TWO WEEKS AFTER THE ORIGINAL DATE!

Angered, I tell them the unbelievably compromising situation that their utter inertia has put me and my partner in. So, I ask for recompense, so that I can store the rest of our belongings, as well have enough money to afford temporary accommodation for me and my partner until the apartment is ready. They, HAVING STILL NOT EVEN GIVEN ME A CONCRETE DATE TO MOVE IN, say they will not recompense me in any way to help alleviate the stressful situation they have forced me and my partner in, despite this situation being ENTIRELY THEIR FAULT!

This situation has made me very weary of them, not only as an estate agent, but as a Landlord to any rented accommodation; as who’s to say they won’t act with the same snail pace speed and disinterest should something go wrong in the apartment?

Moral of the story: Beware of renting from this agency, they can screw you over without so much as a pittance for your massive inconvenience.

My point was, why, when you had over half a month to do these check, were they not done sooner? had you opted to do a review and check of the place sooner than perhaps I wouldn't have such issue with your agency's practices and would be moved in by now

I have now been informed that the property is unlikely to be finished even by the third weekend of February (16th) and that there is no clear date in sight as to when I and my partner can move in.

Had it not been for the good grace of my current landlord, I and my partner would now be out on the street with no place to stay and not enough money to temporarily house us and our belongings whilst we try and look for a new place.

I thoroughly recommend Andrew and Co to anybody selling a house. From the very first meeting, Martin was extremely well informed about the properties in the area and genuinely interested in our needs as customers. The whole process was well explained and made as easy as possible. When our house went on the market, Martin and Ellie kept in constant contact and we received swift and useful feedback on all viewings. Martin and Ellie conducted all the viewings on our behalf, and we had full confidence that both recognised the selling points of our house. Moving house is a difficult and stressful time, so it was fabulous to know we were in the hands of such a professional estate agents, who did everything possible to make the process as smooth as possible.

The Ashford branch helped us find our house and they were so nice and helpful.
The whole process was very easy and we would definitly use them again.

This is the second time I have used Andrew & Co for the sale of my house and yet again they did not disappoint. Infact yet again they have exceeded my expectations. When others struggle to get people through the door for viewings and making offers that you actually want to hear, Andrew & Co deliver and fast. But I must mention the fantastic Harry Best. Through a difficult and exceedingly long drawn out sale to overseas buyers Harry was the guy I could always relie on to keep things moving and get answers when things where unclear and looked to be falling apart. Yes I know it is their job but I have bought and sold quite a few properties and can safely say that he went above and beyond the call of duty and my expectations. If you are looking for the best estate agents in the South East then look no further Andrew & Co are the ones.

We have used the lettings department at the Ashford branch for about a year to manage a property we rent out.

Andrew & Co offer exceptional service for a very reasonable price. We'd used another company for a number of years, but decided to leave them as their service was becoming increasingly poor.

Andrew & Co are a revelation! Their service is very efficient, organised and professional. Our tenants are impressed with the service and how quickly maintenance issues are resolved. All of the team are knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

Andrew & Co Ashford were the agents for the house we bought. Charlie Wyatt was our contact and she was absolutely brilliant the whole way through. We had a very long chain and Charlie was the only agent to regularly ring up and down the whole chain to get status updates and keep things moving, and she kept us up to date all along. At times it looked like things might fall through or be delayed but thanks to Charlie’s regular chasing, we exchanged on time - I truly believe this wouldn’t have happened without Charlie. She went above and beyond what an agent would normally do, offering to help get forms to our solicitors and hold keys for the handover for our sale (which she wasn’t even the agent for). I would definitely recommend Charlie to anyone.

Mark and Trina are professional without arrogance and to us that was important. They answer any query and the phone isn't ignored as is the case with so many other places.
