Do you like your crime thrillers to have a forensic element that adds to the realism? Do you like your lead character to be someone intense and unafraid to take on authority? Andrew writes precisely that kind of crime thriller, and has done since 1996, about the same time he became a CSI in Yorkshire. He doesn’t write formulaic fiction; each story is hand-crafted to give you a unique flavour of what CSIs encounter in real life – and as a practising CSI, he should know what it’s like out there. Here’s your chance to walk alongside SOCO Roger Conniston and CSI Eddie Collins as they do battle with the criminals that you lock your doors to keep out. I absolutely love Andrew Barrett's writing he is me new favourite author. Only one problem I can't always find his books. I can't afford to buy books so get many of them from my library and his books either have a huge waiting list or they don't have them at all.

Andrew Barrett's procedurals should be universally acknowledged as the British equivalent of classic American police novels. They are sardonic, stylish, analytical, and will keep you up all night if you give in to one of his stories. Share with your friends OR a work competitor, one at a time, to erode the next morning's performance. Barrett's work deserves far more publicity than it gets.
His release emails never bring or include spam.

Andrew Barett is a great author. The Eddie Collins series is superb & always has me gripped. Andrew has a fantastic style of writing, going from a very sombre scene to humour in a split second and it works well. I thoroughly enjoy his work and look forward to reading more of his books.

I love Andrew Barrett's books. Frome CSI Eddie to The End of the Lies! Everyone of them is filled with suspense and mystery. Eddie's has some humor tossed into it, gives him a more human element.
