Quick and easy purchase

Found a little nice Clio With low mileage for piece of mind I was also able to get 1 years extended warranty. Test drove on same day, all questions answered and drove away on same day less than 1 hour. All within my budget. I have been out of the uk for 2 years and made this very easy and enjoyable. Made buying a car simple and easy would highly recommend Andy

I30 purchase

It's been a while, but after a couple of hitches, I was satisfied. the car had a huge scratch on the windscreen which is MOT fail and a failed washer jet. the jet was fixed by their garage. I live near Telford so it was quite a drive, but the guys were really good and apologised. happy with outcome. Cheers

Customer comes first.

We were looking for a small car for my daughter who had just passed her test. We drove around a few local used car sales places, and looked at a few websites when we spotted a lovely little 106 in Purple at Ansloos, perfect! I drove over during my lunch break to check it out and it seemed great so I returned the next day with my wife and we took it for a spin. The sales guys weren't pushy at all, they were super friendly and let us test drive and have a good look around the car. We bought the 106 and my daughter was (and still is) absolutely over the moon with it.
A few weeks later, we decided to get something a bit more modern for my wife, so Ansloos was the first port of call. They had a tidy little Aygo in Black which my wife fell in love with. Again, no hard sell, all questions answered and a great test drive later, we purchased the car. They even gave us more than what we were expecting for an old Ford Fusion in part-ex. A while later the Aygo developed a small problem with the instrument cluster. Even though it was out of warranty I gave Ansloos a call just in case they could help me out. Sam very graciously offered to pay for the repairs (even though he didn't have to) and a week later the Aygo is like new again.
It's the little things like this that will keep me coming back to Ansloos. Second hand car dealers (rightly or wrongly) can have a bit of a bad rep, but these guys really are genuinely decent. I'm seriously considering updating my 2010 Civic, and if I do, this is where I'll be headed. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service

Called in unannounced today as a problem had just occurred with our motorhome as we were passing through on our way south. They managed to fix it efficiently and promptly with no fuss or bother. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We have no hesitation in recommending their services - even the fuel station was good!

I took my Audi A1 into one fix on…

I took my Audi A1 into one fix on Tuesday morning with suspension problems .
Gareth who is the garage manager told me to leave it with him .
He contacted several time throughout the day to keep me up to date with what the were doing .
The car is now all fixed thanks to one fix .
Outstanding service would highly recommend one fix

Amazing service from Andy

Amazing service from Andy. Soon as I set foot on the forecourt I was made to feel at ease. No pushy sales patter, i felt he genuinely wanted to help me find a car suitable for my budget. Excellent catalogue of cars on site. A honest family run business. Love my new qashqai! I will be a returning customer (hopefully a long time in the future!)

Would not recommend buying a car from…

Would not recommend buying a car from this place unless you want a car your going to have to spend more money on. Bought a car from here recently due to needing an affordable car that was bigger than my previous due to me and my girlfriend expecting a baby.

Thought the car was great when I first had it up until a few days later when I discovered the car to be pulling to one side and my fuel MPG to not be as they advertised it as with me only getting just under 30 mpg and they advertised it as 40+ MPG. Took the car back immediately thought tracking where they sent me to a different garage who looked at the tracking to find it wasn’t just out a little bit it was dangerously out, they also discovered the exhaust to be blowing at the front of the car and 2 of the back tyres to be deemed MOT failure due to having cracks around the tyre wall.

After taking the car back to be looked at by the garage themselves they told me I needed to book an appointment which I was happy to do and they reassured me saying the car was perfectly safe.

I then discovered a few days later my engine cover to not only be lose in places but hanging off in places as well. When I told them about this issue they offered me a courtesy car which was fine with me as stated I just needed a car incase my girlfriend went into labour. When I went to pick the car up the following day I discovered the engine cover to still be hanging off as you can probably guess I was fuming. When I told a member of staff who I shall not name, she gave me an absolute mouth full to the point I asked for my money back and she walked off. I then had to wait nearly 2 hours for a mechanic to come speak to me to be told the tracking was fine it was my tyre pressure for them also to try blame me for not checking it when it is the garages job to so before the car leaves not my own.

A few weeks later I took the car to have my A/C rehashed for the garage I took it to, to find out I had a coolant leak when I messaged Ansloos garage I was told I would have to pay for the work to be done as the Car must of developed the leak whilst I was driving it bare in mind I have only had the car 3 weeks so really can’t see how that could of happened.

Like I said if your buying a car from here be prepared to spend more money on the car after you bought it to turn it from a shed into a reliable car.

Thank you for your review of our business. Any review of this kind we take a strong look at and unfortunately it contains gross inaccuracies about your experience. We take pride in our customer service and always look to go the extra mile.

For the benefit of people reading this review you purchased a 14 year old Fiat Bravo from us with 80k miles on the clock.

Having checked our pre-sales inspection and inspection performed by the AA before sale, I can confirm none of the issues were present with your vehicle that you claim were there when we sold it to you. On the tracking issue, this is a common thing that can happen with cars and are part of normal maintenance. However, when you advised us of this we paid for the tracking in full without any question.

When you advised us about the back tyres, we had a second MOT tester give an opinion and he confirmed that they were not MOT failures, otherwise we would have had them done prior to sale. Regarding car MPG, we advised you that local town driving would result in less MPG than longer motorway MGP - that is just the way cars are. The car was advertised as per the manufacture MPG guidelines.

When you advised us of your engine undertray you stated to us that you had gone over a speed bump. Driving too fast over speed bumps can cause items to go loose, especially vehicle undertrays so to claim that this is our fault is grossly unfair. When you brought the car in for the issue, we gave you a free courtesy car and we fixed it for you free of charge, even though it was caused by you.

When you brought the car back you were very abusive to our staff, including very rude text messages. Our staff member was understandbly upset with your treatment of her hence why she walked away from you. There is absolutely no need for such aggressive treatment of people, especially a woman. Next time, treat people with manners and some decency.

Regarding the coolant issue, you again rudely advised of us this and we asked you to bring it back for us to diagnose which you refused to do.

Wouldn't recommend to buy from this…

Wouldn't recommend to buy from this place, we were sold a car which had electrical problems (which we discovered the next day after we took it home) and since then promised to fix, waiting since September - part has been on order since then apparently...... in February our patience ran out, went to another garage and got the part and fixed within 24hrs. Buyer beware!

Sorry to hear that you had an electrical issue with your car after you purchased it. I have looked through all of our emails and phone numbers, and can't find a single communication from you regarding this issue. It makes me wonder whether you have reviewed the correct company because it is certainly not a practice of ours to make customers wait that long for repairs.

Any issue with a customer car we always deal with it in a quick fashion. If you had have contacted us we would have gladly repaired the issue for you free of charge and provided you with a courtesy car for free also.

Had an amazing experience at this…

Had an amazing experience at this garage yesterday!! My old car had broke and was going to cost too much to fix and I desperately needed a car for work, so me and my wife popped down just to see what was what and within 2 minutes of arriving we had Gareth the mechanic following us to our house to take a look at my old car to see if I could part ex it which I could even though it needed work! Arrived back at the garage and Dan had the two cars I liked ready to test drive and once again within 2 minutes I was giving them a go!! The customer service was exceptional from start to finish and how quickly they both helped me was incredible! Very excited to pick my new car up tomorrow and Gareth will be picking my old car up for me no hassle!! Brilliant garage!!
