Very weak security platform that is…

Very weak security platform that is decades old from the others. Their paid program is outsourced with people that make your days measorable .
IT TOOK ME 3 DAYS TO BE VERIFIED AS A PAID SUBSCRIBER, to be verified by Only state issued driver license that I currently do not have the hard copy. The refused , and ask me a free 3 months subscription. Insult to the wounds. Why I want to spend days for zero solution.
In Texas it may take a month to get one. No passport, military id or anything is accepted.I had this account for 30 years. I canceled all to gather and collected my past payment from my credit card. They are worth trouble not good with a lot of adds and lousy service.

Appalling service

I could not access my email account. I had tried passkeys and account recovery methods but to no avail.

AOL do not provide telephone assistance so I was reduced to sending emails.
AOL can take up to 72 hours to respond. They also didn't confirm receipt of my help requests, I've no idea whether they've actually got them.
What an appalling service provider.

Quite annoyed at having hand-selected

Quite annoyed at having hand-selected, filtered, left-wing media, thrown in my face every day when I check email. If it was 20-30% of the time and balanced it would be one thing but it is 100% of the time which screams "agenda". Dropping AOL email.

Aol is running ad's on site. They block half of my emails when reading and printing. I have called them and the only way to fix is to pay them $4.99 a month to go ad free. I have to pay for them to provide me my emails so I can fully read? Is this legal? also I recieved an additional charge of $9.99 this month to be billed monthly so they protect my information. Should that only be part of there service. After 30 plus years I am shopping for a new email provider.

AOL Support A Total NO RESPOND SUCK!

I needed help with logging back in my AOL email & in addition to checking AOL Help & had done much related research endless times since Jan 3/25 without success as per my catch 22 log in & inability to get verification code

I received Absolutely NO RESPONSE FROM AOL SUPPORT since sending them the following email dated Jan 13/25:

"Dear friends at AOL

I am unable to log in my AOL email since Jan 3/25 & i am unable to get verification code from my supposed verification Yahoo account which is also asking me to verify by logging into this AOL email

As a result, I am totally stuck as I simply cannot do any verification unless I can at least log into either of these Yahoo or AOL account as they have each other as the only verification email

PLEASE HELP

I can recall most info of my AOL email account that I have been using sine 2015 just to prove that I have been using this yahoo email for 15 years

Thank you"

I have been an AOL user since it was…

I have been an AOL user since it was Compuserve. I never had issues with my email and was very happy, until now.

Since they stopped supporting the mail app this has turned everything on its head. My email is complicated to access, having to click through so many things before being able to access it. When you eventually get there then it is a nightmare to sort, select and delete emails. Every time I try to delete a group of emails the system just deselects them and I have to start again. It is very frustrating.

Honestly, I only keep this account because it is a great email address. It is very easy to remember. Otherwise, I just wouldn’t bother.

Worst service or non delivery ever

I ordered a new Neff integrated larder fridge and agreed a delivery date .
I experienced Good communication and customer service experience until agreed date of delivery . I also paid additional money for their recycle scheme of my old fridge - so I received a request to empty and remove my old fridge and make sure it was outside and dry before collection .
I did as requested and my agreed delivery date was Friday 10 th January between 12.45 to 16.45 and they stated the delivery driver would text or ring 30 mins before delivery .
My food was in shopping cool bags in the coolest place I could find in the house .
I did not receive any contact from the delivery driver so at 16.30 on Friday I rang AOL customer services .
They assured me my fridge was being delivered that day by their own delivery own and that I should have received a late notification email with a new time slot of between 19.00 and 21.00 hours .
I said that the late time slot was not a problem but I was keen to get confirmation that the fridge would be delivered as I didn’t want all my fridge food and meat to spoil .I did not receive any late notification email .
The call handler was laughing throughout the phone conversation but assured me I would get my fridge delivered later that evening .
At 20.02 I received a text message from the delivery driver stating he was sorry he missed me and also an email .
I was unable to ring him to ask why he wasn’t coming when we were waiting in for him .
The delivery man lied as we were in and have full 24 hour recording HD cctv cameras all around our house and garden as well as ring door cameras .
I checked all activity 20 mins before the text and there was no van attempting to deliver anything to my home .
I was livid and rang the AOL office phone number again but the office was closed .
It was too late to try to arrange with neighbours to store my food and I was working very early and full days on Saturday and Sunday .
AOL left me without a fridge as my old was was outside awaiting their collection from Friday lunchtime and it was too unsafe to try to drag back inside and use as it was wet and frosty .
All my perishable meat and cheese I have had to throw away as it went rancid over the weekend .
I then rang AOL first thing Monday 13 th January morning when their offices opened to make a complaint as I was livid because of their breach of contract and my loss of food and money .
They could offer me no explanation and said it would be dealt with internally but their company policy was that they would not share the outcome with me .
I told them this did not improve any trust or confidence I had in their company and I cancelled my order and asked for a full refund. Customer services did process my full refund however would not offer any compensation towards my costs for my loss of food .
I said it was my first and last experience of using them and I would NOT recommend their company to any of my family and friends . Steer clear .
So after lodging my complaint and cancelling my order and receiving a full refund I ordered the same new fridge for slightly cheaper using Marks electrical online who I have used before.
My new fridge arrived today within the agreed time slot and I am waiting to finish its installation so that I can clean it and then switch it on and use it .
NEVER again AOL will you get any custom from a very dissatisfied nearly first time customer

First time user

Had a call of an unknown number today, was pleasantly surprised to be met with a chirpy chap called shaen (call took place 11:40) and he just ran over the basic info on my washer delivery.
But just wanted to say he was very polite and positive .

Incommunicado!!

My wife and I have just switched to AOL emails. Seem to work fine but but but my wife found and reported a bug in the phone app. She got an email in reply asking a lot of questions. Fine. But when we replied with the answers our reply was 'bounced' - rejected "no mx record found"

AOL sucks

AOL sucks. My story is similar to may others in the past 30 days. Had AOL for over 25 years (think dialup) all of a sudden cannot access email. Took 7 days to get thru to 'customer service'. When i did the associate was a jerk.. I explained I didn't reset my p/w etc, THEY SCREWED IT UP. Expected me to get court ordered documents to prove it was my account. They are Bat shit crazy. Now I have no access to many things I need. A MAJOR HEADACHE. NO HELP AT ALL. Out of the blue a hear from some AOL 'concierge' support. Explained the situation. Dont care. WORSE company I have EVER dealt with.
