Apex Doma are a small company with a really customer focussed approach, everyone I dealt with from the technical sales team right through to the delivery team were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the solar panel product. They were very quick to respond to technical queries and issues. I would recommend them highly if you are looking for a Solar panel installation.

Apex Doma were the third company I had to quote for a solar and battery system. Right from the initial visit from Ian I felt that they were the right company for my requirements. Apex were actually the dearest of the 3 quotes but the fact they were not pushy, gave me options on what I could have and as I was already having some roof repairs done first, they were happy to liaise with my roofers, use the existing roofers scaffolding I was already paying for, (so I didn’t have to pay twice), this made the decision on who I wanted to do the work easy. Apex made my whole journey from initial contact to the finished install very smooth and stress free. Their whole team from the roofers to the electricians to the ladies in the office were 100% professional and were a pleasure to deal with. I had asked that on the day of install, if they could manage to fit more panels on the roof, could this be done, the answer was “Yes and it’s no problem at all.” In the end I had an extra 4 panels thanks to their “Can Do” attitude. The teams on site were prompt each day, explained everything to me on what was being done (I did ask a lot of questions!) and left my house clean and tidy. I now have 16 solar panels, a Tesla Powerwall3 with a DC expansion pack and should I need to have any more work done, I’d have no hesitation in giving Apex Doma another call and no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends.

Apex Doma were excellent throughout, from the first survey to final commissioning. They checked I was happy with every aspect of the work as the job progressed and even sorted out a few existing tiling issues at no additional cost. They clearly have pride in the work that they do, and this shows. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience from start to finish - the team at Apex Doma have been really communicative throughout, gave us multiple well thought out options for a solar and battery setup when they quoted based on our usage as well as our budget and preferences.

We’ve been using our system around 9 months now, and have been loving the amount we’ve been generating most days more than we’ve been using, selling loads back to the grid.

We had one issue with our Tesla Wall charger recently, but the team dropped everything to get us sorted.
They found a fault internally to the charger, and had the conversation with Tesla to get a warranty replacement sorted.

Tesla themselves took a while to get the replacement unit sent, but the team at Apex Doma were able to fit us in within 24 hours of it arriving and sorted it.

Honestly couldn’t be happier, and it’s a breath of fresh air to have such a decent group of people who genuinely seem to care.

Apex Doma staff were very professional, know their trade and were willing to fix teething problems promptly (when a change of Wifi code caused issues). Would definitely recommend.

From start to finish apex doma were amazing. The transition to solar and the options available was confusing. After getting telephone quotes from other companies I was left unsure. Whereas, Ian personally came to review the job and gave a clear fully costed quote and explained the process involved.

When it came to install, everything happened when they said it would no last minute changes or delays. They were even flexible enough to be able to add panels mid job at my request maximising my generation potential.

Installation guys Jose and Owen were fantastic! Incredibly neat job and the site was left tidy. Can’t thank them enough! Really recommend them as a business

I contacted a number of suppliers for quotes for an AC coupled Tesla PW3 Battery to support my existing PV system and EV car. None were keen on undertaking a site visit however Apex Doma understood and willingly arranged a site visit to discuss location and layout for the PW3 and Gateway
After speaking with Ian, I had the confidence to place my order. From order placement the communications were great and their engagement with the DNO for the export design assessment was faultless. Hence the battery was installed on their scheduled date.
On the day I had no issues or stress both Matt and Tom installed the PW3 and took me through the setup step by step. Their attention to detail and quality of workmanship went above and beyond my expectations. The framed single line diagram with shutdown procedure fixed next to the PW3 Gateway is very useful and again shows the level of detail the company work to.
Following the commissioning, Apex Doma started handover documentation provided me very helpful links to videos they have produced which explain in detail how the PW3 App works and what to expect in the handover documentation. The system is running perfectly and suits my needs, I would definitely use Apex Doma again and highly recommend them

We did a lot of research and had 4 quotes for solar panels and batteries before going ahead. Apex were neither the cheapest nor the most expensive quote. Apex were patient with addressing all our questions beforehand which gave us confidence. The scaffolding arrived and fitting went ok except they caused a water leak in our garage when the heating came on later in the evening and they organised an emergency plumber to stop it. We were left with water damage to the ceiling which we had to put right. They also installed the inverter incorrectly and so for the first 2 months after installation we had an inflated electric bill rather than a lower one which was a shock! For example, one month's bill went from £108 to £180. It took 3 visits for the inverter situation to be rectified. We did eventually come to a compensation agreement but it took 3 months to do so. Now our monthly electric bill is around £20. Ultimately we're pleased we had the solar panels fitted but it wasn't quite as smooth a process as we'd hoped for.  

Everything was done on schedule and fully explained to me.
All contact that I have had with the comany has been friendly and helpful.

From the first visit by Ian and his patient revisions of different variations to the quote through Abby’s patience with delays with our roofers through to the great installation team led by Liam we have been super impressed with the professionalism and skills of the whole company. By no means the cheapest quote, I am more than pleased with the quality of the equipment and installation as well as the excellent customer service and after sales care. Worth every extra penny. When time comes to install an EV charger I’ll certainly be asking Apex Doma for a quote again.

I had a Zappi electric car charging point fitted. The charging point was fitted within a week of the car arriving. There was a problem and the staff returned very quickly to resolve it. The people carrying out the work were also very patient when showing me how to operate the charging equipment.

I have waited until the system was completely up and running before submitting this review.
I had 6 Jinko Tiger Neo 440W panels with GivEnergy string inverter , A Givenergy 13.5 Kwh All In One, and Gateway. The office staff were friendly and efficient, the solar install team were quick and happy to hide cables were possible especially Liam. The Battery/Gateway were a quick and straight forward installation. There was a minor issue with the String Inverter , but as this was a newly developed Item, this was to be expected, and was easily rectified with a Firmware update. Although the Panels I purchased were only 2.64KW/h , In March I got over 4KW/h in the North of England - most impressive.

I am very happy with the system Ian chose for me
and I am very happy with the Service I received from Apex Doma and GivEnergy

I would highly recommend both.

Install successfully completed today of two batteries. The work is very neat with attention to detail that you don’t often see. The technician was very knowledgable and helpful! I would definitely recommend Apex Doma!
