It is so much easier talking to a person and being able to ask questions without the run around from a robot. Every time I get an automated message I quickly turn to press 0 to get an actual person to talk to. And every time I get upset at the amount of time it takes to finally get a person on the line.

Do NOT deal with this company. Any excuse to refuse and won't put it in writing.

Last October 2025, my daughter and I had her furnace fail. According to the technician, a seal in the furnace failed causing condesation to collect and cause further damage. It was dangerous to run the furnace so after the tech sent the estimate to AP Home Warranty, we had it replaced. They refused to honor the warranty using excuses that were invalid. They refuse to give us a written or email reason for refusal. Verbally they said that condensation was mentioned, which means water, and they don't cover water damage. I do plan on pursuing this further than they expect.

After reviewing your HVAC claim, it was determined that the failure was caused by excessive rust due to condensate leaking. Failures related to rust are not covered within the first 30 days following closing. For this reason, we are unable to assist with the repairs.
