America’s Preferred Home Warranty (APHW) delivers flexible, dependable home protection designed to give homeowners peace of mind. What sets APHW apart is its contractor choice model, one of the few in the industry that allows customers to choose their own licensed contractor for covered repairs. This gives homeowners more control, more trust, and a faster path to getting things fixed. APHW offers home warranty plans for buyers, sellers, and current homeowners, covering major systems and appliances such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more. With 24/7 customer service, clear service agreements, and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, APHW has earned a strong reputation for reliability and care. A key feature of the APHW experience is the Homeowner Concierge Program. It is a personalized support service that helps new customers understand and navigate their coverage. Once a plan is active, a dedicated Concierge Specialist reaches out to guide the homeowner through: • What’s covered and how the plan works • How the contractor-of-choice process operates • The steps to file a claim with confidence APHW also offers a simple three-step claims process designed to make home repairs as smooth as possible: 1. Call APHW when a covered item breaks down 2. Choose and schedule your own licensed contractor 3. Submit the repair details for reimbursement With more than two decades of experience and a customer-first mindset, APHW continues to raise the standard for home warranty service. The company’s mission is to empower homeowners with the tools, support, and flexibility they need to protect their home.

I just spoke to Jackie from Michigan. She sent me information explaining what my warranty covers, reminded me of my copay, which is as awesome as Jackie was, and let me know if I needed anything, she is there for me! Fantastic customer service! I appreciate the follow up of what APHW provides for me and my home!

It is so much easier talking to a person and being able to ask questions without the run around from a robot. Every time I get an automated message I quickly turn to press 0 to get an actual person to talk to. And every time I get upset at the amount of time it takes to finally get a person on the line.

Last October 2025, my daughter and I had her furnace fail. According to the technician, a seal in the furnace failed causing condesation to collect and cause further damage. It was dangerous to run the furnace so after the tech sent the estimate to AP Home Warranty, we had it replaced. They refused to honor the warranty using excuses that were invalid. They refuse to give us a written or email reason for refusal. Verbally they said that condensation was mentioned, which means water, and they don't cover water damage. I do plan on pursuing this further than they expect.
