Shopping here is like shopping at Waitrose or Marks and Spencers in the UK, its extortionate. Although there is Lidl's and Aldi, we found the best value to be Intermarche, which seem to be everywhere. The cafe on the other hand was excellent. Very accommodating and lovely staff.
Absolutely love this shop in Almacil Portugal. It has all the Waitrose stuff I have been looking for. BRAVO!!!
Poor management and an underqualified HR team. Lacks proper training and professionalism.
The 2 star score is for the cafeteria. There is nothing vegan or vegetarian other than toast. Cheese toastie for a vegetarian but the cheese is tasteless. They are not willing to swap out Chicken for Avocado on their tropical salad unless you pay an extra €3. Ridiculous rules and not customer friendly. The supermarket sells many vegan/vegetarian products but they don't offer any meal choices in the cafe.
The BEST supermarket on the planet (and I am picky). I have NEVER experienced such pleasure shopping for food. The supermarket is very clean, 99% of the staff is polite and helpful, the cafes are wonderful and the food quality is certainly higher then everywhere else.
