Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. I have been trying for I don't know how many years to book a car via their page, to get a 10% discount with Rentalcars. I have never been able, there is always something wrong. All the past times they said "we will make our checks". Never been able to do it. This time they said -- after half an hour of chatting -- "It's because you have a Standard account and these promotions are for superior accounts", when there is no way this specific case indicated on my personal page of my bank account. On my page there is "for N26 customers" (not "for some N26 customers" or similar sentences). I have asked "Ok, which are thenthe promotions I can get access to? How do I know if I can get access to those promotions, if they are on my personal bank account page -- in the discovery part -- on my bank account and YET THEY DON'T WORK??" They replied "You need to write to us to know about a particular promotion and we will tell you everything about it". THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I want to have the liberty to exploit the promotions that are ON MY PAGE, without needing to spend half an hour with the customer service every time. I have better things to do.

I have now found out how to renew my 4 digit number in order to send money, and it is easy.
If N26 just gave simple instructions on how to do this rather than a dumb robot, and then an option to speak with a human which I also tried and gave up after waiting endlessly, I would never have written this negative review.
N26 are good, BUT... need to look at what their people are doing and deal with them.
I am trying to send money from my N26 account to another account of mine with another Bank.
On my PC it will not allow access. It states
(Your identity can’t be confirmed information can only be changed and confirmed from your paired phone.)
When I use the phone it almost goes through, but eventually it asks for a 4 digit code, which I do not have. WHY DO THEY NOT SEND A CODE TO EMAIL OR MOBILE LIKE REAL BANKS DO?
They then ask for a number from a debit card, but I do not have a Debit Card.
Then they say open a chat, Starts with the most useless BOT ever, and when you want a human It states, Wait 60 minutes or more
I now want to close my N26 Account but it will not allow me access.
They do not seem to offer a HELP email address either.
So at this stage I am unable to get my money out of N26... Are they really this bad?

Worst service ever, how strange on the account they don't pay Trustpilot package they have 1.2 average notation, and on the account where they keep remove negative review they went from 2.8 to 3.5.
N26 repeatedly flagged my genuine review as defamatory, forcing me to resubmit it multiple times. This tactic seems designed to discourage users from posting negative feedback. My review, based on a real issue with Android device support, was legitimate and not defamatory, they even answered to it before remove it so they knew it was legit. Despite N26's acknowledgment of the problem, they persistently requested removal.
After numerous takedowns and several hours wasted, Trustpilot finally intervened to keep my review online. I appreciate Trustpilot's commitment to fairness, but I won't forget N26's attempts to suppress my honest feedback.

I transferred an amount of €1818 to my N26 account more than a week ago after closing my account with Bank Paysera. Unfortunately, the money has not arrived yet. I tried reaching out to the customer support team via live chat and email, but I have not received any response or explanation about the delay or the issue. N26 is now freezing my money for 3 months. (20.000 euro’s)
I made a complaint and mid december N26 confirmed that I would get my money back and that it would take 2 to 3 days.
We are now more then a month later and I still did not receive my 20 K
I have already send several E mails asking for the status. But N26 does not give me a respons!!

No access to my bank account, no answer from service center for months, no reaction to reclamations. I will go to the police. more a scam than a bank
This bank is a joke
I opened my N26 account in August 2024 and ordered my card. It is January 2025 now and I am still waiting for the card to be delivered. During these months I have contacted N26 support many times through the useless chat. The only I answers, both from chatbot and operators, is that I have to order a new card, of course paying. What a joke.
Only today, after losing my shit with support, I have been offered to get a new card issued and sent for free. Well, I do not need a bank where I have to rely on the random support peep I contact tomaybe get what I need. Or maybe not.

I opened an N26 account, which I have only used for online payments. Recently, my friend sent me some money, and I attempted to transfer it to one of my other accounts. However, my account was restricted. While I understand that you have the right to restrict an account, I believe you cannot hold my funds.
I provided you with my IBAN and BIC numbers to return my money, but I have received no response from your side. It has now been over two weeks, and my funds have not been returned. Is this a scam? I have tried reaching out via email and phone calls, but I have received no answers.

Terrible Experience with N26 - Account Blocked and No Access to My Funds
I’m extremely frustrated with N26. My account was suddenly blocked without any warning, and since then, I haven’t been able to access my money. Every attempt to contact customer service has been met with vague responses, and no one seems to care about the impact this has had on my life.
All my funds are locked in that account, which has left me struggling to cover my daily expenses and provide for my kids. It’s incredibly stressful to know that my money is stuck, and I have no idea when or if I’ll be able to access it again.
I trusted N26 as a reliable bank, but they’ve shown no regard for their customers’ well-being or the real-life consequences of their actions. If you’re considering banking with N26, think twice—this experience has been a nightmare.

N26 support is completely useless
N26 support is completely useless. App and web support is a waste of time. No e-mail support. Doesn't connect. I cannot pair phone due to e-mail access issues and absolutely no help from N26 after 2 days of trying to contact via web site. Would give zero stars if possible.
Appalling service
Appalling service! I tried to open an account about a month ago and was sent an email asking for some further details. I responded on the same day with all the requested details, then heard nothing back. I sent a follow up email after 10 days to ask if there’d been any progress and got no response, and then another after another 21 days. No response. Sent an email to another customer support email address and received a response to say they’d “submitted an internal request to the verification department to investigate the matter and address any issues. This will help ensure that the process can be completed promptly, allowing you to begin using your account.”
Then nothing until I received an email today saying:
“We sent you an email on July 20, 2024 asking for some extra information to help us with your N26 account application. Since we haven’t received the information we requested, we can't move forward with your N26 account application. If you’d still like to open an account with us, you can start the application process again in 2 weeks’ time.”
Nobody seems to know what they’re doing, utter waste of time. Opening an account with Revolut now.

My account was hacked
My account was hacked. I live in France but some scammer in Korea managed to drain my account. There were 14 hits in less than 12 minutes, each of decreasing value until it zeroed out. I reported it immediately and canceled my card which I had used in France an hour before this started. Despite repeated attempts, N26 insists that I used Apple Pay (which I do not have and never used) and that because the system is foolproof, it must be my fault. I have asked for details, but I get the same message repeating that I must have done this. Anyone looking at the transactions would see instantly that it is is an obvious system compromise. But N26 refuses to acknowledge this and return my money. Very disappointed.
