Poor service nearly missed flight

Booked mid stay car park. Arrived in dark. Poor signs all unlit to each car park. Came to first park zone C and parked. 20 people waiting. After 35 minutes a marshal said we all had to drive to Zone G.

SC Parking Stansted ( as well as…


SC Parking Stansted ( as well as Stansted Airport Parking Service) !!!!!! Avoid this company! We had to wait nearly an hour for our car to be delivered. The person answering the phone could barely speak English and kept misleading us about the arrival time. The whole point of paying for a 'Meet & Greet' service is to walk straight from the terminal to your car, but this was a total failure. Very unprofessional and frustrating experience!!!!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Not even worth the one star

Not even worth the one star. Terrible from start to end. Charged extra £20 on arrival for levy charges?? Then no space for us all to fit on park and ride we had paid for for 4 people so my daughter had to sit on my lap - very dangerous!! Then on way home they ignored all my calls and emails - we were there at 8.50 waiting for them to pick us up at 9. No sign of them at all. Eventually at 930 o got through to live chat who called me (a man) to say vehicle had taken others and would be with us shortly. 3 or 4 cars came and went. It was only because I was looking for a1 that I didn’t realise - and it was only due to the nice driver asking me if I was going to the postcode and told me that was where he was going and that a1 should have given me the number plate of the reg. the bus had scl or something on side of it, wasn’t a1 at all. Upon arrival our car keys were given to us but car was blocked in so we couldn’t get out so we had to wait for them to move cars. By this point we were delayed over an hour my two chn were freezing cold. My husband gave my daughter his jumper which was brand new to wrap round her legs and sadly she left it on the coach. I realised twenty mins after leaving - called them to no avail. So messaged and they said oh well look for it we’ll get back to you etc etc then they play dumb every time you contact pretending they’re at a head office. When they’re the people that are on site as when I first messaged and he called me straight away, he was on site. I’ve called them today multiple times to be hung up on and spoken to extremely rudely. Refusing to give me any money back, have stolen my husbands jumper and are an absolute shambles. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible service

Terrible service. You have to add £26 to the price for leaving car park. Probably in dmall print but not clear. Came home to no car had to get a bus to the car park . No car there had ro walk through mud to another car park. Keys in boxes and all over the place. Car was filthy. Left in a disorganised mud swamp. Woke up to damage on car. Clearly been hit. Car park has no lighting. Also saw a car being towed where it had been smashed up. Disorganised chaotic service. AVOID !!!! WILL BE COMPLAINING FOR THEM TO BE SHUT DOWN.

Terrible company

Terrible company, nobody speaks a word or English, no drivers have any ID on them, they are running a business on the side of a carpark with no permission from Stansted airport.

Never picked up the phone on the drop off so I was late

Did not pick up the phone on collection and had me wait for over 40minutes longer than I should have collecting the car.

there was over 50miles clocked on my car so god knows where they are parking it when I’m gone or where they have been

Does not include the £26 in parking charges you have to pay wither

Absolute shambles of a company

False fine, no possibility to contact and harassment

This is a terrible company

I paid my parking yet they sent me a fine on which you can see their employee driving my car!

I tried to contact them but this is very difficult and they are now harassing me with a debt recovery agency
I met once one of their employee who mentioned that many clients have been facing the same when they upgraded their system which obviously does not work well

It is ok to have challenges but at least you should provide an easy mean for customers to contact you and make a real effort in supporting them

They do the exact opposite - this company is dysfunctional, hard to contact and making my life very difficult with the harassment

Please do avoid them at all cost

I booked using a comparison site

I booked using a comparison site. It appears that all the companies are through the same person who uses 3 drivers to pick up and deliver cars. Needless to say it took them 3hrs from landing for us to get our car back. We were surrounded by others in the same situation.

I drop off my wife to see her sick…

I drop off my wife to see her sick parents abroad and when coming back home I forgot to pay online as I had been working and was very tired. Several days later when I remembered and wanted to pay, there was no "late payment" option online, so a few weeks later I received a letter from a dept recovering company with a fine of 170 GBP without receiving any prior notice letter of late payment.
Is this a good way to treat the customers of the airport?

DO NOT USE THEM!! SC PARKING LIMITED..
I recently booked this company through a comparison website but made a mistake of not reading the reviews. I’ve dropped off the car early morning, called them when I was half an hour away. I arrived but had to wait for the driver for an hour. Nearly missed my flight.

Then on the way back, when I collected the car, both the inside and outside were covered in mud. But not only the driver’s side but every single footwell/mat on both the passenger and driver’s side, front and back. It had been professionally cleaned by a valet company just before this rip off company decided to use the car for whatever they used it for. There were definitely more than one person in it as why would all 4 sides be covered in mud. I complained, my complaint got acknowledged but needless to say no compensation or offer to pay for my car being cleaned. They have gone silent. Very disappointed… please do not use

Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely disgusting, 60 charge for a 3 MIN stay, because low behold, driving for 2 hours after you expect to pay at the barrier before completing an 8 hour shift at work, one forgets. Of course i did remember 3 days later BEFORE i got any letter and attempted to pay and was told it was too late, it had already been processed, which is curious because the letter that arrived said it was process 2 days AFTER i called. APCOA are liers, they are disgusting human beings with zero empathy or understanding, these "people" should be banned from operating this way, especially these automatic charges, i cant honestly believe this is allowed, its an AIRPORT, you are leaving the area trying to avoid running over people in the dark, the last thing you think about is the sign post which you only see as you leave on a multi hour road trip. Their customer service is appaling and of course is in India and their "appeal" process lacks any credability. Honestly, i cant think of a more detestable company than these people and i will do everything within my power to make their lives a little harder in the future, Starting with our MP.

Standsted airport should be ashamed for allowing these thieves to operate on their land. Lets be clear, i have had no problem with the airport parking there for YEARS and it was only after they made the express drop off one of these number plate payment jobs i had this problem, i didnt even know it had changed but no, they cant apply common sense to the situation or let people off for a first offence, their customer support basically saId its not their problem, well, it kind of is because if enough of us can get the right people to listen we can make them listen.

Had a terrible experience with SC Parking Limited meet and greet service, my car came back in an awful state both exterior and interior full of mud and had additional hidden car parking fees to get in and out of the orange car park of £20 ….please avoid this company total disrespect of vehicles…wished I looked at the reviews first “horrendous feedbacks”

The worst experience I have ever had…

The worst experience I have ever had with a car parking company. We rang them on arrival back on ground and were told that the car would be there in 30 mins. Wrong!!
We rang again and again to be lied to by the operatives. We could see the car on our app many miles away still parked but they kept on saying it was at the airport, near the airport , on its way etc which was sheer fabrication. Eventually after two hours of waiting the car arrived absolutely filthy with mud on both the inside and the outside presumably from being parked in a muddy field. No apology nor reason for the delay and silence from the company when I complained by email later. This company should not be allowed to operate.

Legitimate but not professional

Made a booking with SC Parking using comparetheairportparking to/from Stansted airport.

Called 40 minutes before arrival to give ETA, a South Asian lady answered (likely from an foreign call centre) and advised me where to go. Met with a man waiting for me in the blue carpark. He was not smartly dressed as indicated in the email but not a big issue.

Called the same foreign call centre when I landed on return and they brought the car to the drop off zone just when I was exiting the airport. Can't fault the pick up or drop off service, just please be aware to call in advance of arrival and that there are extra airport charges.

HOWEVER, on return car was covered in mud on the outside and the rear passenger seat also had mud in the footwell? Additionally, they attempted to disconnect my dashcam but failed. Very unprofessional to do this but I can see they parked my car in a grassy field with many other cars (approximately 10 miles away from the airport) and kept my car in the front of a house on the day of pickup.

Sharing for awareness as they are legitimate but not professional with how they handled my vehicle (dash cam, mud).

Drop off Airport Zone

Drop off Zone
I had two "Notices" for drop off zone issues.
First:
I had Valet Parking and initially went to the wrong area outside the Airport Entrance Doors.
I was advised to go to another area downstairs. When I explained there, where I had parked they said they would cancel the impending fee. Something must have gone wrong and I got a charge through from APCOA.
Upon calling Apcoa I spoke with an wonderful gentleman, ASTY, who was very calm, well mannered and helpful. He could see the mistake and canceled the fee, also he advised the Recovery company I heard from, whist on the phone that it was settled.
Brilliant man, his name is ASTY, he is a credit to the company. Absolutely wonderful.

Second:
I dropped someone off and with the new system of pay online I forgot all about it, these things happen. I was being chased by a a Recovery company for up £170.00.
I explained it was my fault entirely and had no excuse and could he help me please. He agreed to reverse it to an original amount of £60.00.
I was delighted and keyed in my details, there and then, paying it and received an email receipt immediately.
I cannot thank this gentleman Asty enough. Again a credit to the company APCOA.
Clearly, customer service has become first class. Many company's can learn from them.

p.s.
I'm registering for automatic payment with all Airports from now on.
