Exceptional Communication and Service

Aptive Pest Control technicians are VERY good at communicating pre- and post-service with excellent solicitation of special service needs and recommendations for improved pest control. We have pretty severe spider webs, and they are very good at de-webbing our decking and outdoor furniture, saving me a TON of time and effort. We've just added mosquito control (by upgrading to their Premium plan) and I look forward to more time outside in the warm evenings this summer.

It would be nice if they would show up…

It would be nice if they would show up when they are supposed too. The rat trap is empty. no bait...spiders are having a field day also...
We would appreciate future visits to be more consitant.

Techs are great but scheduling by corporate office is terrible …

The technicians who come are always professional and ask about issues, addressing all my concerns. I’m giving 3 stars because I’m a bit disappointed with the scheduling process. First of all when I signed up I was led to believe service was monthly. It wasn’t until 6 months after signing up that I was told visits are fewer during fall and winter. I was having issues with rats and ants in January. Someone came on 1/27/26. I had no service in February, March or April. I finally went online to schedule myself and someone came on 5/13/26. Three and a half months had passed since previous visit. I just don’t think I’m getting the number of services I should for $155/month.

Just get a bottle and do it yourself

The "will come back" if you aren't happy. If you call them within the 60 window they show up and say "what do you want me to do". This then starts your 60 days over.

Called to complain about this, I asked why am I paying for a monthly service if I haven't had service in 4 months. I was told "it's 60-90 days on average".

Overall the sprayers were super nice but customer service was very rude and unhelpful

If you send someone out for service provide the service, just obnoxious

We signed up for a 1 yr plan with a huge cancellation fee so I have to wait a few more months before dumping them

For clarity, the monthly payments simply spread the total annual service cost across 12 equal invoices. The total amount paid for the year remains the same, and is not a charge for monthly treatment since scheduling is based on the frequency associated with your plan. This really helps during the summer, when pest activity is prominent, and you may need additional treatments that would have previously required the full cost of a treatment to complete if scheduled outside of the re-service window.

they said they would come in the afternoon when we were home .they came sometime inthe morning!
They never send the same guy....so he is a newcomer each time.

I wish Luis would have given me more…

I wish Luis would have given me more than a 30 minute notice that he was coming.
He was very professional and pleasant when he was here. He got busy and took care of the outside.
He finished and sent me pictures of all he had covered.

I signed a 12 month contract and was…

I signed a 12 month contract and was told it was month to month contract and I could cancel anytime. Make sure to read the fine print. I almost had to pay a $200 to end the contract. But, Aptive did end up waiving the fee which I was very thankful for.

They then inform me, by text, of what they are treating my home for on the particular visit. They attach photos of where they have treated. Since their monthly treatments, I have not seen ants on my property, the number of roaches observed within the bedrooms have also not been as prevalent as before.
