Bully tactics

As far as the job I think Adaptive does a good job, no issues with bugs. What I don’t like is how I was never in a contract with them and they want to charge me a $199 early termination charge because I found a better price with more services at a cheaper price. I was previously with RIDD who they brought and no customers were notified of the purchase. My contract had ended with RIDD and was under a month to month. My question to Aptive is how’s that legal. No one from your company contacted me as a customer to say “hey we brought RIDD, do you wish to continue with the services” you guys put me under a contract that I didn’t agree to and that’s illegal my friend. I have called four times upon speaking with a representative they transfer me to a voicemail to a company called Home Connect who deals with RIDD customers allegedly. Hold on I thought I was under contract with Aptive? Who the heck is Home Connect. This is what I call shady business practices. You can’t even go on the website to discontinue the use of your card on file. This is ridiculous and not good customer service at all.

Professional and excellent with follow up!

Nelson is the Tech that provides the services for my yard and interior. He’s very knowledgeable and explains the reasons behind the applications. Very responsive and timely as well. :-)

I love aptive pest control service technicians are…

Ever since I've had the Aptive home pest treatment, I have not had any bugs and I'm extremely happy with the service. I had a severe roach problem that I could not get rid of for years and Aptive fixed it.

Your company needs to do more training…

Your company needs to do more training with your technicians. Everyone that has been out to my property for treatment. Does it in a different way there’s no consistency and lots of stuff gets missed that I have to point out to your text. It’s not that difficult of a job I’ve done my own work most of my life and now I’m getting up an age where I’m trying to find somebody that can do the work that I do. you can file the chain of emails that I’ve had with active in the past to get an understanding.

I finally had to buy ant traps myself…

I finally had to buy ant traps myself to set around the kitchen to finally🤞get rid of the “sugar” ants. At one point, a train of them were literally crawling up the wall! I asked your rep if he could set out any traps and all he had was a sticky strip. Yuk! Nothing that could be taken back to the colony. Very nice and professional service, but not effective.👎

So many bugs!

We are noticing a LOT more bugs in our house than before. This is the reason we stopped using Captive the first time. I would've expected the bugs to decrease by now.

Waste of money

I’ve been using these services for just over a year now. There has been no reduction in bugs and actually a huge increase in moles around my house.

Never Ends!

Aptive has been coming to my home for just over a year.You come at least every 3 weeks and sometimes every 2 weeks. I was told I have German cockroaches. The problem never gets better and never stops.

We have an ant problem inside the house. I asked the technician to spray inside. He said he had a gel that was more effective outside. We still have the ant problem.
