Absolutely terrible company.
AquaCool disconnected our AC on a Saturday morning while we were not at home, without any warning that disconnection was about to take place. We only found out because someone happened to see the technician and informed us.
They did this in 40°C heat in Dubai, on a weekend, while their offices were closed. We could not reach them at all. Calls went unanswered and there was no way to get support or obtain information about restoring the service.
They only send emails regarding outstanding balances. There are no SMS reminders, no app, and no proper notification system. Their website is outdated, difficult to use, and lacks important information.
We immediately paid the outstanding amount as soon as we became aware of the issue. However, after tracking down the technician ourselves, we were informed over the phone that an additional AED 105 reconnection fee was required.
This fee was never communicated to us beforehand. It was not mentioned in any email, not shown during the payment process, not stated on the website, and not disclosed through any other official communication. The only reason we became aware of it was because someone told us over the phone after the AC had already been disconnected.
Even after paying both the outstanding amount and the reconnection fee, we were left waiting for hours in 40°C heat before the AC was restored.
Disconnecting air conditioning in Dubai’s summer heat without proper notice, being completely unreachable over the weekend, and failing to clearly communicate additional charges is unacceptable. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
