Terrible product craftsmanship. DO NOT BUY

I want to start by saying the actual pump itself is great *SO FAR*. The filter tank and fittings are what I have a problem with. I bought this 3/4 HP 115v pool pump because my last one was too small for my pool and it stopped working altogether after 2 years. I hook up all the connections and adapters to my already existing flexible tubing already on my pool because the adapters fit and I open all the lines and start the pump and the connections are just leaking like crazy. So I stop the pump, close the lines and re fit every connection with the plumbers tape it comes with. Start it again, and one of the connecting adapters pops off entirely. There is a spare left so I take that one off and put the spare on and connect it. Open all the lines and start the pump AGAIN and the connection between the top 6 way valve and the filter tank starts leaking. I go to unscrew the screw that holds that top part together and the screw straps. I realize that all these connections are made of cheap plastic and dont seal properly. Terrible terrible craftsmanship. Now I have a perfectly good pump and a filter tank that is useless because I cant get the screw off because it stripped and won't turn. Thankfully the filter tank of my last pump was perfectly fine and I just put the tank back and the pump works fine with it. But this product is definitely not worth what I paid for it. I would not buy and would not recommend to anyone else.

I installed this pump

I installed this pump, and while it started up fine, it kept cycling on and off and wouldn't hold pressure, even with the cabin valve closed. The instructions were almost useless, offering no help with pressure settings. After putting in a lot of time and effort, I'm sending it back for a refund - it was a huge disappointment.

Bought this 3 hp pool pump 4-22-25

Bought this 3 hp pool pump 4-22-25, nice pump and installed fairly easy. The problem is the built-in timer, which the manufacturer was aware of, gains about twenty minutes a day. This causes problems with my chlorine generator, water flow stops, chlorine generator still running. Reached out to company, said they would send new control panel. It is now 5-27-25, no panel, lots of excuses. wouldn't recommend this product.

I tried to return the wrong pool pump i brought and was told tough luck and to sell it on the after amrket

I brought a pool pump that i thought was hardwire to plug directly to the pool timer. The pool pump i received was fitted with a plug to plug directly to an outlet which i do not have by the pool pump. I immediately e-mailed the company to start the return process and from the 1st e-mail they responded by telling me that they can not accept the return because it was opened and used. I responded to their e-mail by telling them that did open it which it what anyone would do to make sure what i brought was in the box, but that i did not use it because it would not connect to my pool pump connection which is supposed to be hardwire. Their response to my e-mail was that they can not accept the return because i opened it and that i need to sell it 2nd hand in the market. I responded to that e-mail stating their policy says that there is a 20% restocking fee which i will gladly pay and the shipping. They responded saying it's my issue and to sell it 2nd hand in the market. They have stopped responding to my e-mail so i got my credit card company involved so that i can get refunded what i'm supposed to get after paying the restock fee. I have all the e-mails saved just incase the company tries to say i'm lying. I have brought another pool pump, but also talked with 3 other companies which all agree that what aquastrong is doing is completely wrong. If anyone is reading this review i urge you to strongly reconsider purchasing anything from this company and buy it from a reputable company instead. You would save yourself the headache, this company does not care about the customer all they care about is your money and once they have it you are stuck with whatever you purchased. I have what i'm going thru can save you from the same drama i am going thru. To the consumer reading this have a good day. TO AQUASTRONG IF YOU ARE READING THIS YOU GOT TO DO BETTER AS A COMPNAY.

Your request has actually sparked a wide discussion within our team. While many colleagues believe we should simply accept the return, we regret to inform you that, in the end, we’re unable to approve it. We'd like to explain our reasoning in detail:

According to AQUASTRONG’s return policy, we do accept returns for non-quality-related reasons if the product is unused, unopened, and does not affect secondary sales. However, a 20% restocking fee applies in such cases. Since the issue here is an incorrect purchase (despite our efforts to make voltage information as clear and prominent as possible to avoid such mistakes), we are unable to process your return.

Those in favor of approving your return argue that we have sufficient resources to cover the cost of your mistaken purchase. However, others disagreed because doing so could infringe on the rights of customers who made correct purchases and are still within the warranty period. AQUASTRONG offers a 2-year warranty, and for products like pool pumps — which have a certain probability of encountering issues due to their nature — we do not hesitate to offer replacements or refunds for genuine quality problems. If we compromise these protections to accommodate mistaken orders, it would be unfair to those customers. And that’s something none of us want to see happen.

At AQUASTRONG, we strive to uphold what is right — and we understand that in today’s world, standing by what’s right is not always easy.

Very dissatisfied with return service

I accidentally ordered 2 swimming pool cover pumps, the first from Amazon, the second directly from the company. Two emails have been sent, no response from your company, regarding returns, return label etc. nothing.Also, after 2 inches of rain this morning my Acquaer pump isn’t working, what do I do?
