Run fast 🚩

Run ! Scam ! The red flag is when they start to put you pressure to pay everything right away and also the price was higher when you clicked on one of the pack they had to offer ! For exemple level 3 pack was 583$ and turned into 2000$ ! Promises but nothing behind! If you want to model, act or whatever build your portfolio and submit to agencies yourself it’s easier and faster !

My experience with Next Star Productions

Trainings leading up to the showcase in Sydney in May was informative and helpful to my TV commercial script and monologue before the showcase! The evaluations from the four different talent agencies during the VIP session on the showcase day were invaluable for me to work on my monologue before the showcase started! I received a call back from one of the talent agencies as well as a call back to the international showcase in Orlando, Florida in August! I would highly recommend Next Star Productions if you were thinking of exploring and pursuing a creative career!! :)

Wow so sad

I was logged in to the zoom call on my phone and iPad in case one of them died…
I was 2nd to audition the first round and After my audition they immediately removed my iPad from the zoom call.I stayed and watched the other auditioners from my phone to “check out my competition” and so many ppl were awful! Messing up their lines and such.

That night I was sooo excited that I got called back for round 2. Bro when I get into round 2.. so many ppl from round 1 was there!!!!!
I thought they only picked the top 10%??? Is that why they tried to stop me from seeing the other auditions??

Something smelt fishy already but I ignored it until they asked me for $200🫢 I reported the zoom link and left so quickly

Don't pay them!

Don't pay them. I know you want it to be true but I got a call back and then I saw what ridiculous amounts of money they ask to "be trained" by them. If you want to be trained, look for legitimate companies in your area, where you can be trained face to face. Don't fall for online scams like this, please.
I read more reviews and the ones that are positive are either still hoping it's real or they are fake reviewers from NEXT, I suspect.

My daughter has done a lot of acting at…

My daughter has done a lot of acting at school and has done so well. On the Next Star Production got the 1st audition and she was chosen for the call-back... She was so happy that she started to dream about it. On the call-back, they asked me to sign the form where there was a fee of 2000USD which I have seen it in a small print. I was confused, why should I pay 2000USD for hiring??? I had to ask the "director" why should we pay for...?
Unbelievable, shame to this people, that are trying to steal money from children and steal their dream... Be careful of this scammers. This scammers have been around since early years and now they are trying different way to steal money from working people in a modern way. They know that Us (Parents) are very fragile to our children and we are ready to take any risk to make our children happy and follow their dreams.

My advice is: STAY WAY FROM THIS TYPE OF SCAMMERS...

Watch out for the Fees - they will get you!

Their "MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO GIVE PERFORMERS ALL OF THE NECESSARY TOOLS TO BEGIN WORKING IN THE INDUSTRY" - This means that they solicit people to audition with the intention of selling them training - these are the "Tools". We had to listen to the marketing spiel twice, took 2 hours to get through the auditions but still no mention of training fees - all about their introduction to agencies...This company is about selling training - nothing else. Once you pay your 1000+ Euros for 4 online sessions (to get the tools) you have to fly to a "showcase" in a European city to meet about 5 agents who may or may not get you any work – no guarantees naturally. They say they are transparent, but i fear everyone gets through the auditions and then the bombshell hits....so many of these companies around - be careful out there!

The "audition" :) went fine. Amazing how EVERY dog and pony audition got thru to the TOP 10%. Just make sure when you STARS show up for your 2nd "audition" the following day, you bring LOTS of CASH!

I read the reviews

I read the reviews. It's ashamed. These people are allowed to do this because us artist and entertainers are prey to these folks. They know we are not protected by law. They know we can't afford to sue them because the new policies and laws of today makes it legal to rob, steal and con consumers with very little consequences. America is being ran and controlled by Natzi's. This is why the generation behind us will suffer greatly if we allow them to continue to take over America. These people are smart. They control our political and justice system. We use to dream and wake up in our dreams and wonder how we got here. Now our dreams will soon become nightmares we can't wake up from. We did nothing to These people. Hate is in their blood. This is all in the plan.

SCAM!!!

I joined in the zoom call but was unable to communicate with one, and when i asked through private message if anyone was there they kicked me out of the zoom. I tried rejoining but was not accepted. I belived in them from their instagram ad but once i saw these reviews i realised it was a scam... They are just a training service not an actual agent...

From Puerto Rico

From Puerto Rico, All the negative comments on here are 100% true, they tell you to audition and act like it’s free and exclusive to then accept everyone. They tell you it’s 4 classes in person and 4 virtual but we only had 2 virtual, they expect you to on top of paying 2k plus 300 if you choose the payment plan, NOW the sketchiest they did in my experience and to my group was that the level 3 came with a fotoshoot but then the day of the showcase they told all the level 3s it’s an extra 150 for the fotos because it wasn’t included, honestly it’s disgusting this is happening in my island, they are taking advantage of people with dreams, also they all look like reptilians

Way to bring hope just to burn it…

I was super excited for this experience because my dream since I was 6 years old( I'm now 12)was to be on TV but it was all a practical scam. I waited 2 hours in a Zoom meeting for an interview and no one showed up. This was really upsetting because my dream is to be on TV. So I just want to say thanks to letting down a literal child. I hope you burn in HELL:(!

The ads may seem tempting and legit, but do not trust them… Next Star is a scam!

I’m involved with the performing arts industry and I’ve been scammed by numerous actors agencies before, and it’s not right for an agency to take money from you.

In October this year, I found an ad on the Next Stars Facebook page asking ‘are you next?’ It sucked me in. I clicked on the link, and applied for it. The next minute, I was emailed a zoom audition link. I did the audition, and was later invited by Instagram to do the callback; where I was ‘forced to pay a large sum of money then and there;’ which thankfully I was refunded by BPAY after discovering the company is a scam!

I think Next Star must have found out about the refund because a short while later, Brittney Murrietta (one of the female directors) emailed me asking, “why did you cancel the auto payment?” I was forced by her to pay another large amount of money by card to the company.

The ads may seem tempting and legit, but do not trust them… Next Star is a scam!
