Please avoid.
First of all, please form close relationships with disney, netflix, H&M and etc. Show it confidently in facebook, instagram and twitter, if you cannot then I cannot find this company trustworthy. Second of all, don't charge a family or person approximately $250 USD when you haven't told them. DO NOT leave the amount of money at the end of the conversation. In addition, AT LEAST PUT CAPITAL, BOLD LETTERS IN USD. Third of all, may I add that a 'famous' company like you, are charging people for online classes or face to face auditions for the approximate number of $270 USD, and also rushed my family to sign a contract to not refund. Why not? Why can't you refund money? Fourth of all and final, this will be a compliment to the producers, they are quite sly, they will ensure that you cannot refund them by signing a contract that they have made by the use of PANDADOC. Now, I know you just want something at the other end of the ruler, but can you at least consider the amount of people wanting to pursue their dreams of being actors, models, and singers? Take pity on me all you may want, as i have fallen for the trap of fake accomplishment, however I do not care for such emotions from the likes of you. This may not be the last of me yet.
USING YOU
Let me guess... You've been selected in the audition and now you have to pay for a training session to continue?
Yeahhh
Let me tell you my opinion based on my experience of how they work.
You get an offer and they call you to a zoom along with more performers (all innocent, ambicious people). At first everything seems very transparent. You can see all the performers on screen.
Of course they will make sure that you cannot have contact with each other.
They make you recite a commercial script and evaluate your talent from a chair and a screen where they don't even ask you to stand up (great measuring stick).
Once you audition, they tell you that if you are a finalist you will receive an email with more information about the process.
The next day (I was a finalist, of course) they tell you that you have to choose 1 of the 3 levels of their training program and that you will have to pay for it during the same zoom call if they say yes. Each pack, each count of money (high).
They hold on to that. In theory they are not deceiving, because they are selling courses or training. Therein lies the trap.
They claim to collaborate with brands like Disney, when Disney does not even follow their profile on networks. No evidences about a Job garantuee.
Please, don’t waste your time and money with this. You don’t deserve. This is not serious.
And if you find positive reviews. Great care. Surely it's them.
I saw the add for Next Star Productions…
I saw the add for Next Star Productions on Instagram and it gave the link to register and so I did. I audition on the 14th of October at 16pm (SAST) and got a callback wich is fun and games until I was at the callback audition. I was sent to a female director. She gave me a digital form to full in and then asked to pay for the training, after me and my mom saw ridiculous price, we immediately left and sent an email explaining that the price is ridiculous. I am VERY disappointed by Next Star Productions. They are a very compelling company. They can not expect thousands of dollars from innocent people who audition! Real agencies will not do so.
SCAMMERS
SCAMMERS.
This company is a full blown scam.
I had joined, excited that I was getting the chance of acting and being in commercials! 16:00 was the starting time. When the time had come, it said that i had to wait 30 MINS as the room was full. 15 mins later it said that I had to wait another 15 MINS as it was still full. After the 30 mins, it told me to wait ANOTHER 20 MINS, Instead of waiting 20 minutes I waited 30 and it still didn't let us in. Then I started reading some reviews cuz I thought it was very sus how it was telling me to wait so long. The reviews had said " Scammers " " SCAM ALERT " and things like that. I read through some then saw something in a review that disturbed me. It had read something about your camera being on. Now, the age groups were 4-18+, And that review had said about them watching you through your laptops camera. My mom immediately turned it off after I read that sentence to her. She had suggested we waited till 17:00, I agreed saying we should wait till they gave us another chat in the waiting room chatbox. I read more reviews and said that we should log off and that it is a complete scam. After we turned the laptop off I read all the reviews I had found to my mom. More details about the reviews had said that they were just wanting money out of you. And real acting agencies want you for your talents and arts, not your money. Meanwhile some were saying this company is very legit and amazing, but it's hard to believe that.
Totally amazing
Totally amazing! My daughter Shaye is fulfilling her dream thanks to NEXT Star Productions. We had an experience of a lifetime at the Summer Nationals in Orlando, Florida recently where Shaye received medals for‘honourable mentions’ in both her categories (singing and acting) and she received 4 call backs from International Agents. So grateful we found NEXT Star Productions. Such a professional, supportive, passionate and accepting Company. Staff are amazing 🤩! Thank you NEXT 💕
It was the most incredible experience
It was the most incredible experience! My first showcase was in New Orleans, I am from Ecuador but I was in New York when I did the audition to Next Star so I had to take a plane to New Orleans, new city, new people and a different language for me but all the team was amazing, they made me feel so comfortable and confident and wow the Showcase in Orlando, whit a lot of people and a lot of agencies, I mean I’m my country things doesn’t work like that and see things that I just saw in the movies wow I live that and it was fabulous, I signed with Manikin agency after a few weeks and I am so excited that I gonna live my dream and be an actress is an amazing experience and now I can do that in EEUU is beautiful, next star is like a family, they always are send you mails for the photos and for you resume, I mean they want tue best for you and your career.
SCAM ALERT!
SCAM ALERT!
So I had my call back today. I found it on intsagram which already didn't seem right- but I love acting so I rolled with it. I got in, got a call back, then got selected for the top 10%. I know my call back wasn't my best work, the guy started coughing and singing acapella I heard myself go flat as a result, then he left for like 5 mins and returned saying I was in the top 10%. All of a sudden alarm bells were going off in my head. I said "oh cool thanks" and he was like you should be more excited what are you going to do to celebrate(he kept asking me this question)!? I pretended (acted hah) like I was stoked, and I was sorta excited but I could feel something was wrong.
He talked me through the pamphlet about all the costs- I have heaps of acting experience and I wasn't about to pay for more classes that would be online. I said I couldn't decide between levels 1,2 and 3 being $900-$2000 respectively.
He said I had to make a decision on the call or they would have to let me go- if someone really wanted me for my talent this wouldn't happen. Then I said level 1 for now.
Then he brings me to fill out a form, its a link to an online form and they can watch you fill it out the entire time- while still being on zoom. I filled it out and I read the entire terms and conditions. It didn't seem too bad but now the whole thing looked sus. So I took my time- he said he was glad I was being thorough but I know he thought I was wasting his time.
I had my phone beside me and outside of the frame I start frantically searching up if it is legit or not. So many reviews say it is real- in hindsight these all look FAKE.
I go back to the call and tell him I need to talk to my family about it. There were so many signs it could still be legit and I wanted to believe it, but he said I could ask them until I said they're not home so he'd have to wait. He said as soon as I left the call Next star wouldn't take me.
I asked him when the money is due and he said today- I said "okay that's not possible" and I bluntly stated I would not be able to give $900 today. He started to explain and eventually gave me another option which was 20% more and restricted my course and I said sure to that- cos there was no way I was paying nearly a grand today.
By now I knew something was wrong. No real acting agency makes you pay thousands on the spot without letting you think it over.
I went back onto the document and started changing to a fake address, fake birthday, fake account, fake email etc as I knew something was wrong.
I wanted to find out more so stayed on the call with him. Then I pretended someone was home and had to go see them- I saw him get excited as he thought it meant a yes. I turned off my camera and sound and began googling more reviews that confirmed it to be a scam.
I went back on the call, and said listen my mum said its not a good idea right now. He said 'oh do you want me to talk to her?', and I pretend to look to my left and then said no she's pretty certain.
He had been initially really nice about me being selected (in retrospect it was all a lie) so I was very sincere saying id keep them in mind and in the middle of me saying "thank you so much for this opportunity, I'm really grateful for it" he hung up on me- clearly upset he wasn't getting any money from me. Didn't even thank me for my time or say anything just hung up.
In short- SCAM alert- have to pay minimum of $900 on the day of the callback, they watch you fill out all your personal details, you can't leave the call at anytime or they won't take you and the guy hung up the second he found out there was no chance of getting money from me.

Worst organized auditions ever
I saw an ad on instagram for an free casting call to get a spot for an commercial it was supposedly free and on zoom on 9 september 2023 not to forget to mention they also wrote random actors names from netflix/nickelodeon shows who would join and give us ‘advice’ when the day came in and i joined the zoom it was put in a waiting room for 3 minutes after that i was let in and it was clear that the entire introduction was pre recorded which is weird for a ‘Live’ audition and the mentioned actors from Nickelodeon/Netflix weren’t there instead we saw 2 pre recorded clips of random people just talking wasting time after that we were put in a break room where we were going to audition each breakroom had one of their employees who would watch our audition now i can say those people where the most unprofessional guys I’ve ever met on my acting career they sat unbothered asked us to mail them again for what we came and auditioned for?? (Shouldn’t they already know that??) after that they called each persons name and said they could do their parts when the people did it they weren’t really paying attention and they weren’t really seen writing anything down and after the person’s audition they just told them to wait for an callback tomorrow and that supposedly only 10% of the people go thorough. It was clear that they didn’t have any power to actually forward us to the commercial companies this entire studio is just fake and made up to waste your time and i bet they would just offer some dumb acting lessons at the end to waste your money I would highly recommend to avoid this studio so your time doesn’t get wasted, also after i called them out for this on their instagram they blocked me not even surprised..
You get have a choice of 4 different…
You get have a choice of 4 different categories and have the opportunity to work with professionals in a series of zoom or in person classes. You do a regional showcase (a showcase in your country) and every year there is an international show (in America). It is so fun and you get to meet so many new people and lots of agents!
Next Star helped me get two agents from…
Next Star helped me get two agents from their trainings and showcase! I am so thankful for them and I can finally see my dream coming true! Thank you Next Star!!!
They are actual SCAMMERS
They are actual scammers, trying to make money in a fraudulent way from unsuspecting talents, giving them false hopes and promising big dreams .. When in reality they are trying to take our money. As an artist I know my worth and I would never pay for unnecessary acting lessons(this is what I practice 24/7 and don’t expect their judgement to improve). If you too are an artist who knows his potential and believes in himself, you can very easily understand that this is a scam and it is not how the industry works .. NOBODY WILL ASK YOU TO PAY THEM MONEY IF THEY BELIEVE IN YOUR OWN TALENT THATS A LAW OF ART … unfortunately these days scammers are popping up all the time
I am so thankful for having crossed…
I am so thankful for having crossed paths with them! Because they taught me everything I need to know to get out there to act and model. All the insights and advice you received from managers, actors and Emmy awarded actors too!, to Top Models! Was so inspiring and helped a lot to go out there and make my own modeling and acting career!
CHOOSE LEVEL 3 it’s worth it!!!
Because during the showcase you’ll be able to meet to agents, agencies… one on one and they will grade you, that’s very important!!!!!!!
If I could I would do it again :)

Great opportunity! Great experience!
Our family had a wonderful experience! The experiences training with different agents and casting directors have helped prepare the kids for future auditions and the showcase. Their resumes and portfolios as actors and models were ready for agency callbacks! We got professional photos and we had a blast at the showcase! Since the showcase we have followed up with agencies and auditions that this program helped us prepare for.
The cost was worth it. In fact, less expensive than other programs offering showcases. The acting classes and after school programs for theatre are great but when your kids want to do this as a career getting them in front of agents is the goal 🤷♀️.
I’m not sure what the scam is…? The trainings are real. The showcase is real. The costs are reasonable for the opportunity and experience you can put on resumes… I would recommend getting the video reel if you can! Most auditions request them and we didn’t know that at the time.
BEWARE of NEXT STAR PRODUCTIONS!
BEWARE: Next Star Productions is potentially a scam operation!
I went through the audition process and made it to the callback. After the audition, I had a sneaky suspicion, so I googled the "company". I read the trustpilot reviews, which confirmed my suspicion.
Just for fun and for exercise, I went through with the call back Zoom meeting, with a female "casting agent". I did my monologue again, and after she let me sweat for 5 mins, while she "discussed with her colleagues", I was accepted to go on to the training program, surprise, surprise! The "casting agent" then immediately started talking about signing me up to the training program, after my own choosing (at a minimum fee of $150), while I was on the zoom call with her! I said, I wanted everything on an e-mail, so I could look it over and she said, I would receive that, but we had to do it together (fill out the forms, ect). I told her that wasn't going to happen and she said "then we have to let you go". I replied "that's what I thought" and closed the Zoom call.
Don't let yourself get pressured into buying expensive "training programs", always ask for more time. From what I can gather, through the reviews on trustpilot, these people are scammers who take advantage of children!
I used these two auditions as a way of getting experience with the casting process and as so, it was helpful to me. I didn't pay any money and I proved to myself that I can memorise lines and deliver them in a natural way.
Edited: Apparently, they read these reviews, because later in the day, they sent me an e-mail threatening to take legal action because of this review.

There was lots of communication and my daughter loved every minute working with professionals in the industry.
She had an absolute blast at the showcase and made some new friends.
Scammer company
Scammer company. Avoid.
These and IrelandAuditions.tv are linked to each other.
They organize an "audition" using Zoom for my 6 year old daughter. Time and date set and they tell you whats needed. Then when the time comes instead of an "audition" they show you small video clips first how great they are mentioned Disney etc to reel you in. Then some nobody giving you advice on how to audition...even though they told you what to do originally. Then again clips mentioned how great they are, then another clip from some nobody giving the SAME advice. All of this repeated time and again. After 5 mins I realized there is something up so I put tape over the camera. After half an hour I hung up. I sent them messages and guess what....no replies.
