They're always out of stock!
They're always out of stock, or delievry is not available as well as pick up option is not available. What's the point of your entire existence then!!!!
Is anything ever in stock
Is anything ever in stock, you have surrendered your entire business to the online Marketplace Giants such as Amazon, well done your fate is the same path of as Comet and Woolworths.
Great service from Argos.ie ordered on…
Great service from Argos.ie ordered on Thu arrived the next Monday. well wrapped,
They never have stock
They never have stock, Argos must be losing sells in their millions, whenever I want an item now its never in stock and I live in a big town with 2 argos stores, it never used to be like that, I have been put off ordering many things as it says in stock in like a weeks time, I dont want to wait that long, this store will go under if they continue to operate like this.
Argos's website sucks!
Argos Ireland must have the worst, slowest, most useless website for use on a mobile device in the history of the Internet. Searching for an item is bad enough but then trying to get information about the item when you eventually find it, kind of important things, like catalogue number, description, or availability, would drive you to drink. You'd want the patience of a saint and the luck of a Lotto winner to get through it. Instead of stars there should be a black hole rating that would reflect the way Argos's site sucked in and crushed all my time and good will.
So many products out of stock
So many products out of stock! And no free delivery no matter what amount you spend.
If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would, freezer was suppose to arrive on the Friday, between 7:30am-6pm (great window) 4 o clock rolls around after being in the house all day, still nothing so I call the customer service, they told me it was out for dispatch and that it should be delivered by the end of the day. I called back customer service at 5:30pm knowing there was no way it was going to be delivered, she popped me on hold while she tried to get ahold of the delivery company, could get ahold of anyone, she apologised and said she couldn’t Confirm that it would be there on the Monday but to call back. Called back Customer service on Monday, got through to a rude person who I could hardly hear, told me that the delivery is in the country and something else I couldn’t make out and I decided I’ll cal back later, called back later to a nicer person, who told me that he would send a request over to the company who delivers to give me a call, said it will be over 48hrs before I’m contacted by them… 48hrs roll by… surprise surprise… nothing… I call customer service again, I explain I should have been contacted if they could deliver on a promised date, I’m not a mind reader and can’t be expected to stay in until they decide to deliver the freezer. The young lady said “oh well is usually 10 working days before they’ll contact you, that’s the norm”. All I can say is I lost it with the poor girl, which I apologised to later, I was told on the Friday that someone was trying to call them, then Monday was told no you can’t call it’s only a request that they could put into the delivery company which takes 48hrs for them to call you to be now told no it’s 10days!!! Ridiculous! I demanded a refund, this was 10am this morning and I’m still waiting at 4:30pm for confirmation that they have processed the refund! I will never buy anything from these useless crowd!
Should have read these reviews before…
Should have read these reviews before ordering. I was firstly charged twice for my order, rang Argos they blamed the bank and said the money would be back in 24 hours. Rang the bank and they said it’s the fault of the retailer, they ringdebced the money and the bank can do nothing about it. So as it stands, a week after ordering, my account is overdrawn to the tune of €220. I complained to Argos, they took my details and said someone would call me back. No word from them.
Then today, part of my order arrived, two bar stools. When I enquired as to where the main part of the delivery is (a bar table), I was told that this was scheduled for delivery on the 16th October! That’s nearly a month after I ordered despite the delivery within 9 days status that was given when I ordered. If I hadn’t have followed up today with frustrating emails and 2 calls to Argos (that were disconnected mid call), I would have no information about any delivery. So at present, one week out from ordering I have been charged over €440, and all I have received is two bar stools worth
€46. And I’m told it will be another 3 weeks before I receive the flatpack bar table. Incredibly frustrating and inefficient service. Buy elsewhere!
Paying 3xdelivery charge due to items being stocked 1 at a time!!
I wanted to buy three items from you, but due to you only stocking ONE? at a time I'm having to pay for delivery each time, when I should have only paid once! I can't get this item anywhere else, otherwise I would have. That's most £12 in delivery, due to your issues, not mine. Feels like a deliberate way for you to get more money from people tbh.
Ordered bed August 31st 2021
Ordered bed August 31st 2021, (5-9 days delivery). Argos.ie
Arrived Sept 11th 2021.
After reading reviews on trustpilot I thought it would never arrive, with Brexit problems. I did email Argos and they gave me delivery date of Sept 11th, also driver rang before delivery.
Well it only took 11 days, very happy. Haven't assembled it yet.

I bought a bathroom cabinet from Argos…
I bought a bathroom cabinet from Argos which was damaged. They refunded my money for the cost of the goods but not the delivery charges. I don’t think it is right to charge for delivering faulty goods
Rubbish
Rubbish. Less than 1 star actually. I used to love Argos and now you can never get anything delivered or it is out of stock.
Nothing in stock
Argos used to be very reliable, had plenty of items in stock. Nowadays absolutely everything I have looked at online isn't available to pick up locally and not available for delivery either. Shan't be bothering to check their website anymore.
No stock Argos
How on earth does this establishment stay open...Do they know at HQ how to do a stock take....Oh, my mistake, they did, was quite simple really, they just wrote "Not in stock" on nearly every item online!!! Go to Curry's and hey guess what same item in stock and lots of them and cheaper, and can have it delivered or collect for free!! If I could give you zero stars, I would!!
Manager went beyond his service
Manager went beyond his service. Had an issue with an item in the Killarney store. He sorted the problem with great help. Thank you.
Don't trust the reviews
I stopped using Argos years ago because of the crap quality but tried them again during lockdown. I bought a few nice items from Habitat. Then I bought the Pippa bed with which I had a problem. There is no aftercare service. When you phone the aftercare service on the instruction manual you go through several options before it tells you it can't help anyway. BUT WORST OF ALL - I HAVE NEVER BEEN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO WRITE A REVIEW! I have bought things based on the reviews but now wonder if they are real. I suspect not, otherwise howcome there is no way for me to leave a review about my purchases
Does Argos Ire Care ?
bought Huffy Rustler 20 Inch Wheel…
I bought Huffy Rustler 20 Inch Wheel Size Kids Bike item number 332/4776 in April 2019 x 2 bikes for my twin sons from Argos Tallaght, Dublin 24.
Both bikes have a gear change issue, so I went to Tallaght Argos in May 2020 and enquired about warranty, due to COVID they understandably could not assist, manager was the nicest person to deal with.
I have sent two emails to Argos.ie on the 6/6/2020 & a follow up email on the 10/6/2020, allowing for a COVID backlog, I have heard nothing back from Argos
26/7/2020

Nothing is ever in stock for collection…
Nothing is ever in stock for collection or delivery. Staff in the sainsburys stores are as useful as an inflatable dartboard.
Shockingly bad.
