All i can say is WOW! I've never really had faith in laundry pods as I like to normally overdose my detergent plus the fact I have a 11kg washing machine I feel I need to over do it. But these pods are phenomenal 👏

Just seen your advert, what complete codswallop boomerang smell! I have been washing clothes for 55yrs and never had 'boomerang smell' even long before I had a washing machine, do people really believe this rubbish?

Smell has changed - is stronger, appalling and now on colour Gel as well as white. You have taken a product we have used for many years and broken it. The industry talks about "x times fresher" it's not fresh just odorous. I have seen negative reviews over a long period - you should read what your customers are telling you and act - or lose them. We were patient but are now switching away from Ariel.

The smell is horrible, better not to wash....

Really disappointed that the scent has changed from the original. It’s now causing me headaches when I’ve used it for years. Sadly no longer going to be purchasing it.

I have used Ariel colour gel for years. Never again. They seem to have added a horrible smell (maybe it’s supposed to be a fragrance) to it. I didn’t notice any warning of a change when I bought it online. The smell is awful and cloying. Made me feel nauseated and itchy. Had to wash all my clothes, bedding and towels etc at least once to get it out. When you first put on an item of clothing you notice the horrible smell and then it gets stronger as the day progresses with body heat I presume. Only wore a jumper once to realise it was the Ariel. Yuk.

I have used Ariel for years but recently the smell has changed and it is absolutely awful and over powering.
Won't be buying it again.

In general l am very pleased But when I do a wool wash at 30 degrees the gel sticks to some garments and leaves patche stains .

I have been using Ariel original powder and liquid
The powder was Brilliant
Smell was amazing and cleaned Brilliantly and THEN out they come with Fast Disolving
All powder dissolves it doesn’t smell good and it certainly doesn’t clean well
I called to complain and they tried to tell me that this was a better product

Have just contacted my supplier for a refund on the latest purchase of Ariel. Have tried original and the colour and the new odour [note not fragrence] is awful induces headaches and both my partner and myself have come out in a rash. Have put all my freshly washed clothes and bed linen through the machine on rinse and spin twice just to get rid of the odour. Have used Ariel for at least 20+ odd years will now have to find an alternative. Very sad it was a good product.

I contacted ariel regarding the washing pods all sticking together and popping, I feel I have waisted a few and these are not cheap, this was months ago now and I have still not had a reply.

I bought Ariel titanium pods and it’s smelling awful after washing clothes.

The clothes smelled like damp fungus smell even I dried in the sun outside.
At times I had put two pods in the machine and then I had to re washed clothes with other detergent.
Any solution please.

You said your colour smell was not touched like the original Ariel the last bottle I got stinks just as much now so some idiot decided to alter it I won’t buy your product again can’t stand the smell can’t wear perfume with clothes as the stink overpowers it why you’ve done it beats me

I have used a whole tub of these and very soon will at last use them all up. They are just terrible. The coating or plastic sticks to the edge of the drum at the end of the wash and the number of pods that have left horid stains on bedding and have not absorbed properly in a wash. Doesn’t matter whether you use them on a cool or hotter wash, they leave a terrible blue stain on my bedding. They are so expensive and not a patch on the liquid I can buy at a 1/3 of the price.

I’ve used Ariel for years and the new smell is awful, it makes the clean washing smell dirty. I actually thought something was wrong with the drains, then I realised it was the Ariel. The reason I switched from Persil to Ariel years ago was the lovely smell. That has now gone. So, sorry Ariel I won’t be buying it again, truly awful

Gell stays on clothes if washed at 20 degrees. Had to wash again with my usual detergent. Waste of money.

Aerial Colour All-in-one pods. What an awful strong odour. I think my nostrils are going to burn out! And that's after the clothes are dry. I have had a tshirt on for half an hour and it has totally triggered my asthma and my nostrils have a 'burning sensation'. What a dreadful product. I bought loads too. I might just leave them on the wall outside and hope someone takes them to use.

Used Ariel for years and loved it. Just bought a new Ariel colour and the new smell is awful. Its like over powering toilet air freshener. No idea what they were thinking. Had to go and buy Persil instead as it still smells normal. Change it back!!!

When I noticed awful smell from my clothes I blamed my washing machine but soon found out it was the ariel pods I threw nearly a full box in the bin I will never buy them again no matter how many adverts on tv,cutting corners and getting too greedy doesn't always work you have lost my trust and custom Ariel producers.
