i almost let all the negative reviews sway me to not purchase but since im a "i have to see it for myself" kind of person, i still purchased. i followed their sizing, i measured myself, i read reviews, i used their models and got the perfect size. the suit quality feels great. i am so happy with my purchase. if you get the right size, it definitely does not fit a little kid lol. for reference, i am 5'2, 140lbs, bigger bottom, smaller chest, i got a large for both top and bottom. they fit perfectly.

There's no option for 0 star. I purchased 2pc in XL as i'm size 12-14. It was so tiny that i couldn't even try it on. Then i had to pay postage to get it exchanged with one piece in XL and again same issue. I had to pay for more postage to return to ask for refund. Keep in mind they don't issue full refunds. I took measurements with other better brands like Bondi Born and Zimmermann for comparison which i currently have and Ark XL was much smaller than L of both other brands. Ark either has kids making their swimwear or they are completely clueless about female figures. Hence why they have no google reviews and they only show thin models on their social media. Don't waste your money as there are better brands out there with shop front.

My girlfriend loves ark bikinis. I bought her one as a gift but it didnt fit really well. Ark made the swapping process so easy. They definitely care about the client. 5 stars experience

This company has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. They respond to emails at a snail’s pace, averaging just one response per week. I attempted to return two items, only to be shocked when my return was rejected for supposed signs of wear. They sent misleading photos that were clearly altered to make the products appear used. Since I was aware of their return policy, I sent the items in pristine condition.

To add insult to injury, they charged a $20 fee per item and only offered store credit for the remaining balance — unless I wanted to pay even more to ship the items back. This ridiculous policy forced me to spend an extra $20 if I wanted a new item, essentially scamming me out of $40 just for trying to make a return.

The final blow? I spent $65 on return shipping. So not only was I out of pocket for that, but their predatory return practices made the entire process a nightmare.

Thankfully, my credit card dispute was ruled in my favor, but I’m disgusted by this company’s dishonest tactics and lack of integrity. I will never purchase from them again, and I highly recommend that others avoid them as well.

Purchased a bikini set for $140 I truly tried to use their sizing system however it’s completely off.
The return process is awful and would have to pay $170 just to return.

I was willing to keep the top and order a bottom but they’re not allowing me to purchase just one item.

I wish I read reviews before purchasing. I was hoping to be a returning customer bc I actually loved the quality can’t really speak on wear and how long it stays in good condition. My issue is the customer service is terrible. I’ll be purchasing at my other favorite Australia swim brand.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Ark Swimwear, an Australian brand. I paid $140 for a bikini set that was shockingly poor in quality. The fabric felt cheap, and the fit was bizarre—despite carefully following their sizing guide, the bikini was ridiculously small, rendering it completely unflattering and unusable.

The return process made things even worse. When I attempted to request store credit, my return was abruptly rejected with no proper explanation other than "Return rejected." They claimed the item didn't pass inspection and provided manipulated photos falsely suggesting the bikini had been worn—a blatant representation of what I returned.

To add to the frustration, they informed me they would deduct $20 per piece or charge me $30 for return shipping if I wanted the bikini back. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue via email, they stopped responding entirely.

I paid an additional $60 out of pocket for return shipping, leaving me with a $200 loss and nothing to show for it. To make matters worse, many other buyers have reported similar experiences with the company. Ark Swimwear makes returns unnecessarily difficult and often refuses to issue full store credits.

I strongly urge potential customers to avoid this company at all costs. Their dishonest practices and poor-quality products make them a brand to steer clear of.

i had the best experience with this company!! i ordered my bathers it came with free shipping and came in 2 days! the boxing and packaging they did was just amazing! the quality and material is just so unmatchable! i will definitely be ordering of them again.

I also love the bikinis, have had a few before, they're great quality and fit.

Order a gift for my wife, size was wrong, and she didn't like the style. We exchanged it, but they said the top was damaged, so they kept a $20 fee for the exchange. The size of the exchange was different to the other one and doesn't fit. Their customer service says they only allow one exchange! I cannot get a response from them at all now after many emails to find a resolution. We are now stuck with a product we cannot use as it doesn't fit. I posted a complaint on a post on social media, which was deleted. They sensor all reviews on their website. This is a dishonest company with fake reviews. Do not give this company your money!

Terrible experience. I ordered two bikinis which had to pay an import tax of £57. The bikinis themselves were awful quality, really horrible material and the sizing was bizarre, just way too small but also wide in the front, they were really unflattering. I then tried to return them, and when I went on the site it said "Return unavailable". I have emailed about this and haven't heard back yet but not holding my breath. I would avoid this brand like the plague.

I have purchased several items from Ark, apart from never getting a response from there customer service team, I have literally sent 10 emails to them.
They have a refund policy to keep 20% of the amount you paid for an item.
I will never be shopping with them again.

Liked the variety of colours so I could mix and match but the sizes are so small and exclusionary, completely out of touch with size of actual real women. An XL is the biggest size which fits an AU10. So if you’re larger than AU10 then they don’t make anything for you. I’m a 10B tops and 12 bottoms and everything was too small. The super thin straps dig in to my shoulders and were uncomfortable after 5mins.

Buyer beware ! Bad customer service , refusing to exchange bottoms that actually do not fit me and then accused me of damaging stock ! I have never experienced this kind of treatment from a store in my 20 years of shopping . Strongly recommend you go somewhere else . Bad bad bad business

Do not buy from ark! Warning their returns policy is ridiculous and they are just looking to make money from honest customers who would like a refund. I bought a bikini for $140 (btw they make you buy two pieces minimum) and when returned I only received $102. They basically charge the customer a $38 penalty fee. I wouldn’t exchange the product because it is such poor quality. It is NOT what you see on instagram.
The customer service is the worst I have come across. Poorest experience. All I can say is don’t buy from ark.

A company claiming that they’re so prestige and amazing because they ‘never go on sale’ - they don’t go on sale but they will steal your money from you when you want a return.

I truly cannot believe that you have to pay your own postage for a return, and then once they pass the inspection - they take 20% OFF PER ITEM and AN ADDITIONAL $10 POSTAGE. - I told them via email I find them extremely scammy, and that they are literally stealing from women who just want to feel comfortable, and they didn’t reply and gave me my $102 (I spent $160 all up). So so so bad, I’ll never buy from them again.

A size Large bikini bottom DOES NOT fit a size UK10 girl, despite measuring myself prior. If you want your nipples and flaps on show, buy their bikini’s. Otherwise if you are a 10 year old child, they might just fit. Don’t listen to their rubbish that ‘it needs time to grow’ because they’re honestly just talking shit to steal from you

I have nothing but great things to say about the team at Ark. I had questions around sizing and one of the team members, Emma, was so helpful and friendly in helping me pick the correct size.
With one of my swimming costumes I noticed a small fault in the stitching and Emma was more than happy to help me sort a replacement swimsuit. The team are super proactive, friendly and quick to respond to any queries. I definitely will be buying from Ark again. The swimsuits are so comfortable and the fabric feels and looks amazing.

Iv had a wonderful experience with ARK.
Bought a pair 2 years ago, beautiful fabric, exactly as seen in their site. Decided to get another pair a few weeks ago, arrived within 3 days while iv been waiting over 7 days for most other post leading up to Christmas. They weren’t the right cut for me, return process was simple, credit came through quickly, and when I was having trouble ordering the new pair, after a few quick emails back and forth it was sorted out for me.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is, I wish the fronts of the bikini bottoms had slightly more coverage. And I do prefer a company that allows refunds, but to everyone complaining about that, a lot of Australian brands do the same thing, it’s clear on their site so if you choose to buy from them, credit note only is the risk you knowingly take.

Customer service drives me nuts.
Not reliable. Not listening.

I’m obsessed with ark swimwear, I have so many sets and will to continue to buy from them as there stunning good Quilty pieces. Although I have had one issue with thwre bikini before, there amazing group of workers ‘Emma’ made sure to fix the problem leaving me more than happy. Thank you ark !!!
