I have ordered quite a few things from ArmedAngels. Whenever I would try them on, I liked them a lot (although I do recognize the super restrictive sizing, where I - as a size 40 - am frequently the largest size).

However, in fairly short order (less than 6 months), the clothes would start breaking, particularly the pants. The sweatpants got a variety of holes in them (some in rather odd places), and within a year, got to the point where I couldn’t repair them. Similar sweatpants for less than half the price from a well-known Japanese brand have held up FAR better. I have had similar issues with the jeans, where they very quickly get holes and shortly thereafter become so bad such that they can no longer be worn. Additionally, I found when they claimed to be including bigger sizes, the size I wore simply got bigger (e.g. the 31/32 size that I ordered in 2021 was significantly larger than the 31/32 ordered in later years).

All this to say, very disappointing for a brand that claims to be „sustainable“ and I would not recommend buying from them if you are looking for clothes that stand the test of time (or even a few seasons).

the clothes are good quality, but the online shopping experience is HORRENDOUS. in order to return an item, you pay all of the fees yourself, which from abroad starts at 20€. unless you’re very posh, that’s insane. makes me really sad, too, because i love their clothes & was planning to purchase more. I’ve already massively splurged on the jeans (the most expensive pair I’ve ever even thought of buying), & the regret is overwhelming.

First and bad experience... Would not recommend.
Have been trying to contact them for a couple of weeks without succes, never been able to get a return label.

I am unable to retrieve a return label and consequently to return some items, as I did not receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to do so (which on the website they say they do) and also via the website itself it didn't work to get a label (some error message) Therefore I tried getting in touch with customer service, but it is impossible. No replies on my e-mails and via the so-called live chat there are no people available. Absolutely frustrating and items still not returned...

The price / quality value is very disappointing. Like many people, I was looking for a more sustainable clothing brand with a better quality for the price. The shirt I ordered arrived with stains on it and a botton hole already ripped. I sent them an email with a video and photos and received no response. It was also a hard pill to swallow having to pay for shipping to return the items ( living within the EU, Spain)

I really wanted to like this brand and I had more items waiting to order. I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I would advise against this brand.

Expert assistance in changing an order. High quality, sustainable, playful and comfortable clothes that I wear for years with pleasure. Regular customer since their earliest days as a company.

I own 3 jeans (AARJO TARPA), the oldest is not even 6 months old but the first two already show holes in the inner pockets, not on the seam, just the material itself. I contacted Armed Angels like 3 weeks ago, no respone at all (besides the automativ one). Really poor product and service, won't use them again. This never happened with cheaper jeans.

I bought the Lejaani jeans. After the first washing the fabric around the zipper started to come apart, and with further wear kept deteriorating. Not something you would expect for jeans you have had for a few weeks of occasional wea. I alerted the customer service, got no reply. I do not plan to buy at this shop again.

I ordered a pair of jeans at the beginning of the month. More than two weeks later, they still haven't been shipped and the two emails I have sent haven't been responded to either.

I tried to call but was on hold the entire time and never got to talk to anyone. I basically paid for nothing and the company isn't taking accountability at all. I would like my item or a refund.

Pretty bad. A UK order never delivered. Customer care inexistent and after a month I have not been refund. Avoid, avoid.

My order stayed stuck in processing for a month, never actually shipped and then got cancelled without informing me.
I was not refunded the shipping despite the order never shipping at all!

Customer service took 2 weeks to reply a misinformed "sorry your order got returned by the parcel service" message (again, the order NEVER SHIPPED). The exact words were: "I just have the same tracking information as you. So I don´t know the specific reason why the delivery was not successful." What tracking info? I never received a tracking number or notification that the order had shipped at all! Then they insinuated that my address could be wrong, shifting the blame onto me - and again, even at this point, no tracking number or evidence of shipping!

For a company that prides itself in being ethical, it's clear that their customer service reps have more work than they can take on. That, or the company simply does not care about customer service...

Extremely disappointing! From now on I will order sustainable clothing elsewere and I will make sure everyone knows about this awful experience with Armedangels.

Edit: the reply below is also wrong - I insist, I did NOT receive a tracking number OR SHIPPING CONFIRMATION (therefore making it impossible to know whether my order had shipped in the first place). If ARMEDANGELS can prove they sent me this information, I encourage them to do so. You can't expect people to collect an order that hasn't been shipped yet!

I was happy about a pair of Armedangels black detox denim jeans ‚DYLAAN DRY
BLACK‘ till I washed them for the first time as specified on the label (with eco detergent etc.).

From dark black the colour has faded in patches & stripes/lines to a dirty grey - they look ruined visually (the material in itself seems okay). Nothing I‘d expect for that price!

Makes no sense to buy eco fashion if it doesn’t survive the first wash & needs to be hand-dyed (black) again.
Too many promises - not satisfying. unfortunately.

Please consider improving the website, I couldn't edit the shipping address at all on mobile (Brave browser), not a single button in the pages was working properly (edit address, size guide). Result: I couldn't change the address and had to interrupt the purchase, but PayPal express already charged my credit card! Such an annoying process.

Lovely Products and good delivery and return conditions. Love the fact that they are sustainably produced and the range is beautiful and up-to-date.

Most recent update: My package is now stuck in LAX for 15 days. It has been 2.5 months since I paid up $200+ for your merchandise, and I have nothing to show for it. Unacceptable customer experience. Avoid!

Super scammy. Placed one order on December 28, supposedly held up in shipping. It was canceled in January, I still have not received a credit. Placed a second order, which they claimed did not go through, but my credit card was charged anyway. Terrible customer service, and dishonest sales practices.

I do like the sustainability aspect of the brand I think the styles are great.

A lot of the pieces don’t feel very well made though. The yoga pants are way too thin - everything can be seen through them: underwear and every bump.
Also the sizes are not inclusive at all (bigger girls would also like to wear sustainable jeans) and their sizing is off. I order some things in XL and they are way too big on me and other things in the same size are way too tight. It doesn’t make sense. Even when I go by their sizing chart, I don’t end up getting things that fit me.

As a bigger girl who really wants to rely on sizing, I would suggest others like me to look for other sustainable brands that are size inclusive and their sizing is more consistent.

I really like Armed Angles. Nice fashion, sustainable and a very pleasant look&feel of the webshop. Also, customer support is fast, friendly and to the point. Just the way they need to be!

First, I want to say that I love the philosophy of the brand. And that I have ordered from armedangels a few times in the past, so this review is not just based on a one time experience. The quality of their jeans is great, I wear them almost daily and I love them. However, the sizing is awful. Even when ordering the same style, same size just different colours, there is a noticeable difference. One pair will fit me even after a big lunch while I can't even pull another over my bum. Also the leg length varies up to one inch. Again, those are the same style and size! Furthermore I have ordered other clothing items as well and very often at least one of the seams came loose after a wash or two. And yes, I do follow the instructions. I usually don't mind mending my clothes to be able to wear them for a bit longer, but if I spend 120€ on a pair of trousers, I expect them to last longer than a month before they need fixing.

Again, love the philosophy but have mixed feelings about sizing and quality.
